That’s the correct e-mail address but i haven’t received anything yet. Could you try sending again. If you need to customize it then you most probably will require some back end coding however the theme works “out of the box” and shouldn’t require any custom coding to get it to work.
Drop me an e-mail with some screen shots and what you need to have done, as well as the wordpress version and any plugins that you may be using and i’ll try to see what’s going on.

PS: are you sure it was the WP version of dotMobi that you purchased and not the HTML version?

I just noticed you had already sent a message through my den page. Unfortunately it’s as i expected and the reason it’s not working is because you have purchased the HTML version of DotMobi rather than the WordPress version.

Please contact support and let them know so that perhaps they can issue a refund as this is out of my hands.

Hi Craig,

I haven’t heard from any users who have attempted that. Keep in mind that this is a WordPress theme and I’m not sure if it’s even possible to wrap up something like that and prep it as a native app.

How to show a “page” on the home page instead of the most recent post? If I go to the wordrpress option and set a “static page” as home page, the tabs menu desapear but I want to keep it.

I’m not much of a coder so if you could provide step-by-step instructions I would appreciate it.

Hi,

I don’t have the files in front of me right now but if you open the functions.php file and locate the function for creating this read more tag simply remove the words from within the quotes ’’ and that should do the trick. Please make a backup of your files before you change anything.

Hi Paul, it seems i was wrong. There is not read more text within the functions.php file however i cannot see that your setup is displaying the read more tag on the post preview and it’s the same on the demo. The very first function within the functions.php file is what is used to grab the first image of the post and display it as a thumbnail as well as display the text up to the read more tag and not display it.

Can you please explain in more detail where this is showing up?

I trying to show the “read more” tag in the category pages. Actually i modified the articles, inserted the “read more” tag within the article. It actually works (displaying only the article content that is above the tag) but the link “read more” is still not displaying. Do you want me to give you an administrator acess so it will be easier for you do make the changes?

There shouldn’t be any issues with WordPress 3.3.2. Could you provide more info such as screenshots of the activated theme, browsers tested, your web host etc.

Hi,

There’s no plans for making this specific theme responsive. However i am working on another mobile theme which is more compatible with other devices.

FYI . If you set the width to fluid for DotMobi – 100% then it will expand to fit most device screen sizes.

Can we have links to facebook, twitter, etc. that are links to the mobile versions of these sites. Right now, it appears that these social media sites are not mobilized. They point to the desktop versions. Which means to have to get to your PC. What if you are on the road and only have a mobile phone at hand?

Short question: how to see these social media sites on mobile phone? I don’t know, that’s why I am asking. Any suggestions, or howto’s?

Hi. The URL ’s for the social media icons are entered from the admin settings so you can enter what ever URL you’d like. If you visit Facebook or Twitter from a smart phone it should automatically redirect you to the mobile version of their site so you shouldn’t need to enter the mobile URL manually. If you find a site that doesn’t automatically redirect you then you can always enter the URL if you know what it is – you can usually find it by entering m.facebook.com or facebook.com/mobile etc.

Hi. I’m not familiar with these types ads from google so can’t say how easy it is to integrate. At the end of the day the theme is based on html/php/css so it should make a difference to getting these ads installed from a normal desktop theme. Perhaps you can even look around for a WP Plugin which will make this a whole lot easier.
