Is there a way for the email section at the top of the site to be clickable? The user clicks the email and it opens their email client.

Hi,

yes, sure, you just have to add html code instead of just email address e.g.

<a href="mailto:yourmail@yoursite.com">yourmail@yoursite.com</a>

Hi maarcin just wondering what code do I use to add gallery buttons in main gallery page just like screenshot http://www.rajdomains.com/images/hotto-add-buttons.png

Thanks in advance!!!

maarcin

Hi,

those buttons are available only in the portfolio pages and are created automatically from portfolio categories.

Gallery doesn’t use any categories, so no filtering can be used there.

My site has a strange dark bar at the bottom covering the footer. CSS class says ”.fixbar”

Could you tell me what backend file I could find this in and how to remove it?

Thank you

Hi,

this is not a part of the theme. It probably came with additional plugin or code, I don’t know what it is. You won’t find it in theme files, at least not in the original ones.

Ok, thank you for your feedback.

Hi Marcin,

I’m trying to make what should be a simple tweak to this theme but nothing I’ve tried is working right.

I simply want to fix both the footer wrapper and the footer bottom at the bottom of the page and have the rest of the page/blog content float on top over them so that the footer is revealed only when you scroll low enough.

So in CSS I have set “bottom: 0;” for both .footer-wrapper and .footer-bottom, and set “z-index: -999;” for .footer-wrapper and then set “min-height:1400px;” and “z-index: 999;” for .blog-wrapper to force the expected behaviour.

The results have been inconsistent at best, most times the footer wrapper just disappears.

I have also tried changing around the logical grouping of divs but nothing has worked – to the point that I now doubt everything I know (don’t laugh!)

I will appreciate your help.

Regards,

A

Hi,

not a theme issue, so not much I can do here. I suggest to take a look into “fixed footer” or “reveal footer”, maybe both like here. Not sure if that’s what you want, but to achieve this you’ll also need to wrap footer and footer-bottom with outer wrapper and use it for reveal.

Hi ,

Great theme ! I Can’t see the logo in I-phone 6 (4.7”), even the original “Downtown” logo~

But it shows good with PC , Laptop & I-pad with retina display . Is there any way to fix this problem ?

Hi Patrick,

no idea what cause this. Demo site has the same issue for you too? Maybe try to remove the css animation by going into header.php and on line 79 remove whole php statement in the class and leave only this

class="logo"

There might be problem with mobile browser and css animation that cause this issue, but I can’t tell for sure. I’m not able to test it on actual iPhone 6 right now, I’ll try to check it in couple days.

Was wondering if we can grab the demo images from the live preview or are they copyrighted? Thanks

maarcin

Hi,

unfortunately they’re copyrighted. But they can be purchased on probably every stock photos marketplace.

Hi I got question ! I dont like How in responsive version on mobile – navitation menu look like and I would like to take out contact us from top on mobile can This things be changed ? if yes how ?

maarcin

Hi,

you mean on normal screen or on mobile menu?

For desktop screens add this css
.sf-menu > li > a:hover, .sf-menu > li.current-menu-item > a, .sf-menu > li.current-menu-ancestor > a {border-bottom: 0;}
For mobile menu add this css
.sf-menu-mobile li a {border-bottom: 0;}

Not sure which one you want so I put there both.

Normal menu , Can you tell me in which CSS ? should I add this ? because I think I already added this border-bottom:0 option

maarcin

Just add this in theme options -> custom css window. It’ll overwrite all previously declared styles.

A blog post of mine continues on without spacing. Please see http://www.saturnapps.com/blog/ (Particularly, this post: http://www.saturnapps.com/5-work-habits-increase-productivity/)

Thanks!

maarcin

If you meant space between content area and sidebar it’s caused by your custom code. You or one of the plugin you’re using added div with class “container” that overwritten content area width. there are classes and divs that are not created by theme.

Hi

Is there any way to disable the animations only on mobile devices? I notices that on all mobile devices the animated parts are appearing again and again while scrolling. On desktop computers it works fine. Link: http://informationen.lensbreak.com

Thanks in advance, Steven

Hi,

I guess you can try to use jQuery and run css animation only if screen is bigger than X (where X is what you need). You can open js/scripts.js and you can find animation script on lines 452-461 and you can mix it with window.width, for example:

replace cssAnimInit(); on line 461 for this

var window_width = $(window).width();
if(window_width > 991) { cssAnimInit(); }

I tested this and it worked just fine. If you need something more complicated you have to do it on your own.
