Drifter - A Shopify Theme

I worked out how to fix it. Make sure the Permalink/Handle on the ‘FrontPage’ collection is just ‘frontpage’ not ‘frontpage-1’, etc.

Fixes it straight away.

who ever buys this good luck on contacting the designer…..no support, but can anybody tell me how i can get my blog to start working where people can respond.

I have tried repeatedly to figure this problem out but I can’t seem to fix it. I keep getting under the three thumbnail section of the featured products the last one is always going down a row instead of going next to the second box. I wanted to say: Congratulation, this theme looks good, especially the front page.

However there are a few problems with it, and, since you’ve sold it 78 times so far, maybe you will be willing to look into these… It’s OK if you don’t. At 20 bucks, people are totally getting too much bang for their buck with Drifter.

I am working on your theme for a client who purchased it.

1. On product pages, you moved the Add to Cart button out of the Add To Cart form because you had trouble positioning it with CSS . And then added a JavaScript onclick handler to it to submit the form. That can be problematic for someone trying to customize your theme.

2. There’s no way to link back to the purchased products’ pages on the cart page. If I wanted to revisit the page of an item added to my cart I would have to search for that item in my shop.

3. On product pages, the ‘View Larger’ button is not connected to the FancyBox (does not do anything).

4. Even if you use XHTML Transitional there are validation errors on the product page: http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fgetdrifter.myshopify.com%2Fproducts%2Fmens-drifter-khakis-plaid-shirt-silver-watch%23 There are some divs that are not closed there too.

That’s still VERY impressive work. I understand that the price attached - 20 bucks - is ridiculously low.

Doesn’t seem to work in Firefox.

Hello there, Just bought you theme and having a little trouble… My Item is not resizing automatically to fit the featured item at the top. It is because of the size of my product image. Now please let me know how can this be solved.

I’m also finding the same two issues problematic: 1) the view larger button does nothing – I commented out 2) the image that is ‘featured’ is not resized to medium, it forces a large version – I can’t seem to figure out how to change that – I assume the demo has an image that is not being resized, but is cut to fit – convenient

did you ever get the “view larger issue resolved?”

I am also having the similar problem with the 3rd featured product being bumped to the second row. I assume this has a remedy? Are there certain default product image sizes I should be sticking with?

Ive been trying to modify the back ground colors. How can I do this? Thanks any info would help.

Hi, I just tried to download the theme. it keeps saying unsuccessful b/c the theme is broken (spreadsheet missing). is there a fix to this?

I just attempted to upload the Drifter theme. it appears that the stylesheet is missing. Anyone know how to fix this?
