I do have a quick question though. How do I make one of the 5 blog templates on the frontpage? I watched how to make a front page template, and a blog template, but I can’t figure out how to put Blog 3 Template onto the homepage blog list
I just want my homepage / categories.php / single.php to have content on the left, sidebar on the right.
i wish there was a blog style 1-5 shortcode

I got this theme in the themeforest’s birthday bundle and am trying to get registered in the support forum because I am trying to figure out how you got the portfolio working. Like the one here: http://demo.duotive.org/duotive-fortune/portfolios/

The bundle does not allow you to register on the support forums. However i will try to help you out over email. Please send me questions over to duotive at yahoo dot com. Also please watch the documentation videos, found in the theme pack, documentation folder – double click the index.html file inside. The videos on portfolios explain better what you need to do, way better than i can over email.

I bought this template through a bundle offer and was not aware that it does not include any support? If anyone can tell me why the slide show images do not display it would be appreciated, as I have set my cache folder permissions to 777? Thank You

Hi. They are loading randomly. That usually happens when the host has big load on it and cannot take it any more. Please contact them to solve the issue.

Yes, that script is used by a lot of themes on themeforest and it needs resources to function properly. Ask them if they can increase the memory size. I do not think that it needs a big increase.
Memory has been increased from 128M to 256M and all is working now

I want to set as frontpage a blog template, I know how to do it but how do I set a “Intro paragraph”?. I can get this done by setting a “frontpage” from settings menu, but not if I set blog template as front page.
And what is the problem exactly? You have a blog page with a page template and you set it as the front page from wp dashboard – reading ?

Just curious, but would you happen to have an export of the demo content that we can import to get everything working as in the demo? At the moment, that would save me a lot of time setting things up.

Unfortunately the XML does not import duotive panel settings and content so it’s pointless

It’s no problem I do understand. I’ll just work through one bit at a time and get it set up. I wish I had the money right now to buy the theme at full price to support you, but maybe in the future as I get some new clients(all my current clients have themes already). No link required. You did not look in the theme pack. Unzip it and look in the documentation folder, and double click the index.html file and view the videos.

my thumbnails is not working in localhost for example in your demo i can see

What do you want me to say? Urls depend on the host configuration.
what u mean host configuration , my site is in ”/public_html/en/wp-content/themes/duotive”
u see i use foder named en for making site in diffrent languages.
Configuration inside the web server that allow or disallow some path directives. Therefor the change you made that made timthumb find images.

quick question on your homepage you have at the bottom a portfolio scroller..

Only one main menu at the top unfortunately. But with custom sidebar functionality, you can add custom menus in the sidebar and solve your issue like that

Editing code with Conditional Tags can’t work ?
You’re welcome. You have to define more than one menu location and than call the menu location with conditionals. Yes, it can work, but not out of the box and not without changes.
