Is there a way to make this theme mobile responsive?

I would be willing to pay for an add-on feature and would bet that many others who have purchased theme are are looking for this critical functionality as well.

I am afraid not, because the theme has some age and the design was not thought out that was. Our new theme will be responsive and have many more features than this one.

I just purchased this theme and am setting up the slideshow. I followed the steps in the video to add slides but when I click “save changes” button the “add slides” form gets reset but no slides are being added. When I click on the “Current Slides” tab, there is a message saying “There aren’t any slides added yet.” I tried uploading an image and also just choosing from the Media files but still could not add any slides.

This template is quite amazing. And your video tutorials make it that much better! Thank you for such an incredible template and for giving us the tools, regardless of our website building levels, to create it the way we want it. Best template I’ve seen yet!

I just have one quick question. How do I change the thumbnail boarder? There are 8 borders that you showcase in your example website but I can’t find where I change them in wordpress. Thanks!

Having an issue with thumbnail links. I added a custom URL for each thumbnail but I keep getting an error. I took a look at the code and some how the image code has rel=”single-modal” added to each thumbnail which is preventing it from linking correctly. How do I fix this?

Hello my good friend,

Duotive three still one of my favorite themes ever, but I selfishly kept for myself www.broekmancomm.com. Have to do some maintenance soon like updating theme.

Question for you – I have 9 slides right now. I remember there was another place to add more slides to indicate more additions (i.e. I have 3 more that I added successfully, but they are not appearing live). DO I need to go in via FTP? Or is there something in the theme options that I missed to expand option from current 9 to 12? Or do I have to delete some and 9 is the max?

Thanks for your kind words. You can surely update the theme without any problems if you did not change the theme files.

You may want to clear the cache plugin to see the new slides added. There is no limit for them. Also for more theme support please join the forums – http://support.duotive.org/

Hi! I am having a problem when setting up portfolio pages in the Duotive Admin area. The drop menu will not let me select pages at the bottom of the list. So for example, I have a “Websites” portfolio category that I can’t select because it won’t show up on the list. Is there a way to fix this?

Make sure the category isn’t empty. Empty categories won’t show up in that list. Create a dummy post inside and then you can continue with the workflow.

Beautiful theme, can’t wait to launch my site. Using the Gallery Slider on the homepage. How many slides do I have to put in the gallery? I have 25 slides, but I’m getting blank/empty spaces throughout the gallery when it displays. How do I avoid that?

Thanks for your kind words. You have to have multiple of 9 images to get a perfect grid. However the empty spaces inside the slider are caused by the fact that you are zoomed in/out in your browser. Hi! We have been in search all day of a theme that we love!! Of course, we LOVE this theme and we were so excited to purchase it but thought we would check it out on an iPad first. That is when we realized that it doesn’t seem to be mobile compatible. Is there a new release of it that will be? If so, when do you think it will release? We are in desperate need and hope you have a solution for us!!

I am so confused, it now appears to work on my cell and ipad when I try it. We had also sent an email to you through your website and got a reply saying that it does work on mobile devices but it is a “desktop” version. I don’t understand what all of this means. Please help!

Thanks for your kind words. Unfortunately, if you already set a featured image and other images work, only one thing you can do, except than to upload to a live server so i can see it, that is to delete everything inside the folder wp-content/themes/duotive-three/includes/cache and make sure that the folder is writable. Also please do what we asked about support. As you can see, here it takes more time to get back to you.

I have had several security issues with this theme. More recently Google was reporting “This Site May be Compromised” in google search results. It took forever to clean the website and get google to stop reporting this to future clients. I now have site scanner with GoDaddy and it is reporting that there is a vulnerability with the theme. The theme allows java scripts to be run. I have code from Godaddy that can be run to duplicate their test. Do you have a patch or update to the theme that will prevent “cross site scripting”? I need to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

You need to be more precise about the problematic file. The theme allows java to run it’s vague. The browser runs javascript and the theme uses javascript. Please do tell me more on the support forums – http://support.duotive.org/

I am not an expert at website security. All I can say is Godaddy told me the theme allows cross site scripting and to ask for an update or patch to resolve the issue. This is their result: Site Scanner was able to to inject innocuous strings into cgi parameters and read them back in the HTTP response. the affected parameters are candidates for extended injection tests like cross?site scripting attacks. The ‘controls’ parameter of the /wp-content/themes/duotive-three/js/get-slideshow-js.php CGI : /wp-content/themes/duotive-three/js/get-slideshow-js.php?type=gallery&co ntrols=vngteb&description=0&duration=600&interval=5500

Does this help? Can you run the same tests to see if you get the same results?

I have a few folks telling me that they can’t see my site thru IE now. That the menu structure is below the logo and that the slideshow is off. Is there a CSS fix for that? I haven’t researched completely but figured i write in first to see if their is a previously published solution.

In case you do not find it, we told customers to remove a menu item, if possible, because there is no room in IE for it.
