Just purchased duotive three theme and unable to upload.
Unpacking the package… Installing the theme… The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. Theme install failed.
Don’t want to use WinAce – it’s buggy and comes with a lot of problems. All I want to do is use this theme or get my money back. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the purchase. Unzip the theme pack and inside you have the duotive-three.zip witch is the actual file. Upload that. Also for more support please join the forums – support.duotive.org – and before that please watch the video tutorials that are in the documentation folder in the same unzipped theme pack.
Can a shopping cart be integrated into this theme? And can the social media links be changed, such as adding pin interest in place of myspace.

Many of our customers integrated shopping plugins into our themes and they worked. The only downside of this is that the plugin needs a bit of customization with standard CSS. Since there are many plugins out there that add this functionality to WP, if there are any problems (compatibility issues) we’ll try to solve them, if possible, but we cannot handle CSS custom jobs.
You can always replace the images for the icons and then you can change the link to go anywhere you’d like, so your website visitor will only see what you want them to see.
Thanks for the response. I want to buy duotive three, but I just read the comment about you all releasing another theme in a week or two. This one is supposed to be more compatible with mobile devices. If I purchased duotive three now and feel that the new release is better, would I be able to do an exchange as long as its in a reasonable time frame? Please advise. Should I wait for the release or should I just go with three? Please provide approximate release date. Okay. Just did a little more digging. Is Duotive fortune the new release?
I just tried to pullup duotive three and fortune on my ipad in preview and I am having trouble viewing the entire web page and the links don’t work. Both sites are static. It seems to be working okay from my android phone, though the multi picture headers don’t show.

The new theme does not have a time stamp set for it, because thing get more and more complicated to make compatible with phones and mobile devices, and we like stuff to work properly, so we are not rushing.
You cannot exchange a theme for another, because this marketplace is not in our control. We are just a supplier and have no control over the purchases here.
The themes work on phones and mobile devices, and links cannot disappear as you say, believe me. However if you want a proper mobile, and want to use one of our themes, you should wait for the future release.
You did not find any future release. Fortune has some age to it. This is our portfolio – http://themeforest.net/user/duotive/portfolio – and as you can see there are 5 themes. None of them are responsive. Just the next one will be responsive and mobile happy.
Ok. I would like to wait for the new theme. I just don’t know if I should. Can you share some insight on the overall design layout of the next duotive website? Which duotive is it most similar to? I really hope three

How well does this theme display on mobile devices eg tablets, smartphones etc. I noticed the layout is “fixed” which I guess means it is “none responsive”. Thanks.

First of all, thank you for your comment!
Duotive Three is not a responsive theme. At the time our themes were in development, responsive wasn’t our main focus (the theme was released quite a while ago). They do work on mobile devices, but with zoom in/out functionality.

PS. Our next theme will be responsive and it’s currently under development. It will be released in the first part of this month.
Is it possible to change the height of the homepage slider or static image please?

Unfortunately, Duotive Three doesn’t have a height option for the Gallery slider, but Duotive Fortune—on the other hand—has such an option and is more flexible. If you’re looking at Duotive Three for the Gallery slider, I would take a look at Duotive Fortune. It is an over-all better theme than Three.

If I go for the slider it will be the Nivo slider. However, I may just decide on a fixed image instead.
I will probably go for a fixed image on the home page but it would be nice to have the option of the Nivo slider at a later date if it was possible.
If it is too much work to change to a Nivo slider at a later date it’s not a big deal.
We can change that, no problem. It’s an easy change. So if that was stopping from using the theme, you can go ahead. I will make the change on the support forums when required

I’m having problems with some text in a box paragraph on my site. I have 3 lines of centralised text. Lines 1 and 2 are using H4 and line 3 H5 formatting. However, on line 3 I wish to add a link (to contact page) to the text. Whenever I try to add the link and then save the change it then disappears (the link). I would also like to make a phone number that I’m using on line 2 much bolder (maybe larger perhaps instead) than the text around it so that it stands out. Not sure if this is possible.

I’m about to create my own page title background images and I notice that you recommend they be as wide as possible with a height of 138 px. Can you please be a bit more specific on the width so that I can create images which are the best size in your experience?
In that theme we used 1680 because that was the biggest that we have seen at the time. Now we recommend using 1920 or 2560 if possible. Also for more questions please join the forums.

I am loving this theme ! I am only having one problem I have set up the gallery page inserted a gallery then I use the gallery template when i do this the gallery template is above my gallery on the page and is empy while below it is the normal gallery. Then when I go back to delete the short code the gallery goes with it =/
You have to delete the shortcode from the HTML editor. Just delete the text and not the images. For more support pleas join the support forums – http://support.duotive.org/

I’ve purchased the duotive three. Some items doesn’t work, specially the footer wich is NOK on all pages and, as my site is for photography, the main item Portfolios for me. I read your description to get a main portfolios category and have another sub-category but it dosn’t work as on the main portfolio page appear all post with portfolios category and the other. So now, I turn off the link between the main category portfolio and created another category: the main page portfolio looks right now but I can only access to sub-category by the menu bar (I test now with sport category only) or by the item view all => view sport but I cannot access by the post sport with the featured image. Hello, I have templates with other premium problems with Nextgen and Justivied ImageGrid. So I want to another template. Duotive Three works fully with the 2 plugins? When I bought and it does not work, is there money?

Installed the theme, but it’s very slow loading. Switched back to the default theme and had no problems with load time. Is there any thing that can be done to reduce load time?
