I have done what you said above about customer fields to have images showing in the three colums on the homepage.

However they are still not showing.

I put the link URl into the customer field and named it image. Was this right?

Hi System, One last question. What is the field to post the small text in the custom field to show under the image. I tried post_text and it dont work.

I am able to get the slider to work by hand coding the slides, but I cannot get it to work using the admin side which I really would prefer.

The file isn’t updating even though I have set it to the correct permissions. Any advice?

Need your advice please have read the detailed documentation for the sliders but I am still confused.

I have a configure.php which is blank and a configure.xml which has the URl of 5 images.

Which one do I need to alter and what with?

Is theis the code I need to insert replacing with my images.?

I bought durable 5 in 1. Within wp-admin durable options, the cu3r options screen blacked out so I am unable to edit the images on the homepage. I have other cu3r themes running on this server and they work fine. I need a fix. Thanks

I love the theme, but I’m unable to get the Cu3r slider working. I’ve uploaded the images, placed the link into the post, and edited the transitions via the Durable admin panel, but nothing comes up. Any ideas?

Very nice theme. I have two issues: 1. I can’t get the link of the image for “Mainpage Column 3” to work. You can click on the title and it is working, but not on the image (If I put the same page for all the three columns, the link of the image is working on only the first two and not the third).

2. Cu3er issue: In the readme file (Theme Installation – Step 2) you mention to check the ”$xmlfile_path=$_SERVER[‘DOCUMENT_ROOT’].”/wp-content/themes/durable/xml/config.xml”;”, which is correct if you have the wordpress under the domain root and not in a subfolder. This isthe way I have it, but when I try to save the cu3er options I get: “Warning: fopen(/............./durable/wp-content/themes/durable/xml/config.xml) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream:”, which it seems that somewhere $xmlfile_path is defined different.

Note: I have set the permissions of the xml folder and config.xml to 777.

I have solved the 2nd issue, I noticed that there are 2 (two) config.php files with the theme, one in the root of durable and one under durable/functions, which is the one I should edit from the first time.

Another thing, how does the Contact Page Sidebar work?

Because I have copied paste from the text file, but It doesn’t appear in my Contact Page (I have set the id of the contact)

@redmad – thanks for this, that solved my problem too!

@system32 – in your documentation you mention ‘2) Open config.php file in the package and change the path to your wordpress directory if needed see coding below, only change the highlighted area’ You should update this so that it references the config.php in the functions folder. I think that this is where most people that are having problems are getting stuck, that’s what caused the problem for me.

Anyone that is thinking of buying the theme don’t be put off by that problem. The theme itself is easy to use and the documentation is fantastic.

Let me know if anyone having more issues.

These are just small issues. This theme is highly recommended by me. Great options page and detailed documentation.

So I am a full fledged WP newb (been using Sqr Spc) – I am having trouble putting in the Homepage Images as well on the columns, and thoughts? I know you said put it into the post, or call a custom field – can you give any basic guidance? Thanks!

Thanks. Please write it with http://www.maindomain.com and http://www.sitedomain.com. Or does it mean I don’t need to change anything? I have a main domain where other domains are hosted within it, but the url is just of the sub-site. I don’t know much about server files or file structures. Thanks
