Turns out that the bug with the home page has to do with changing the title of the page. You can’t rename the page after you have created it or it screws up the homepage.

If you want to rename the page, you have to create a new page with the new name and copy the content over.

Will I be able to add a footer for things like a blogroll, latest news, testimonials etc?...

This is an alright theme, it looks good but takes the polish on the backend that I expect from ThemeForest.

Pros Looks great Pages used to populate the front page

Cons To set the navigation you have to know the ID of the pages Footer settings is all manual Out of the box it looks bad (should of put some default content in) There is no information in the manual to how to add the banners to the front page for the three columns.

Open to anyone’s help… I think I followed the documentation completely. I have everything except two things. My Home page looks like the other pages… no slider, no 3 columns, no nothing of the home page parts. The other thing is I cannot get the Theme Options Panel last page to load in the WP backend. I get a black blank where all the slider configuration options are supposed to be. I have read over the comments and cannot get enough info from them to fix it. Thanks if you can help me.

OK sorry I sent 3 emails and made a faulty assumption. I am now in contact and have sent ftp/wp login info. I hope he solves the issue.

The author logged into my wp admin and ftp site and got the theme working. I must have made a mistake. I did my best to follow the pdf.

My advice to the author is to create an install and quick edit video then post it here or on youtube. It would solve a lot of problems that people are having.

The cu3er works if you FIRST create a post and then put a picture in the post. I had to reverse engineer what the author did to make it work to understand how and why it was working.

The author speaks English as a second language so its a bit difficult to understand what he is saying in the email. Im not bashing here just making a comment. I applaud him for being able to speak at least two languages.

Im going to plug away at the site now and see what else I can “discover” about how it works.

The author “suggested” now thats its working to follow the guide step by step which is what I am going to do.

Thought I would add this…

He got the cu3er working by adding a picture (page 13 on pdf) to a blog post.

He used the full path of http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/your_slide1.jpg

I shortened it to /wp-content/uploads/your_slide1.jpg because Im working on a temp site with a temp address.

Thank you System 32! I blew it by pulling down the theme before you had the chance to look at what I requested. My mistake. I appreciate that you continued to monitor my site and saw that when I put it back up, it still needed some work. When I email you you went ahead and fixed the problem I was having. I really appreciate your timely responses and your diligent work. The support is very good.

Hi system32,

1. The welcome 3 areas don’t accept images and differents html codes like the live preview, 2. The contact functions does not work correctly (do not appears in my blog), 3. The cu3er admin area do not admin anything, 4. the images of cu3ber doesn`t showed.

What I need to do to correct all bugs or get my money back?

Sorry by inconvenience but I hope that packages like this ($30 expensive) may free of bugs. What you thing about it?

Likewise with the functions.php file. I have everything working, but the cu3er backend is just a black box and can’t get anything working for the three front-page columns, and haven’t a clue where this even gets edited.

This is a beautiful theme. Looks very professional and I’m enjoying implementing it.

However, there are a couple of things that I have discovered so far during the configuration process that are not mentioned in the documentation, or perhaps not clear? Maybe by identifying what I had trouble with I can help others?

1. You need to apply a custom field “post_image” in order for the images to appear in the three boxes on the front page. (The “Durable Post Image” field is only available on Edit Posts screens not Edit Pages.)

2. Edit the file durable->functions->config.php in order to point to the correct location of the config.xml file. In my case, editing the location correctly was as simple as removing the ”/”.

3. Until you set up your posts with images in the category you are using for your slider, your Cu3er options page will just appear as a black box with a save button. The functions file is not in error – it just seems to be an unusual way of doing it (to me).

To set up your Cu3er slider images, add the 500×250 images to your posts in the category you have choosen for your Cu3er sliders. Don’t forget to put the image URL in the “Durable Post Image” field or use the custom field. After you have done that, go to the Cu3er Options page in the Durable Options panel and your slides will appear and be available to edit.

4. You need to edit the contact.php file in order to change the subject line options for the contact page.

Ok, perhaps it’s me, but I have never had issues with any template or custom design in the past…..I have followed EVERYTHING exactly as it’s written in the help file and have rebuilt the WP database 6 different times on two different servers, all giving the same results.

When I manually uploaded / overwrote the slider images, the cu3er worked perfectly. Now with a new install, following all of the proper steps and creating posts, uploading images, etc., the cu3er admin part works fine – but now the images don’t work.

In Firefox, I get the following error:

Does anyone know how to fix this or what could be wrong? I am so tired of trying to get this fixed, for what shouldn’t be an issue in the first place. Three days of time completely wasted and I thought this would be an easy thing to do.

I still haven’t figured out why the three columns on the homepage won’t work, either. I’ve done everything step by step and nothing. All that happens is that once I change the Homepage Settings > Mainpage Column 1 > to anything other than a defaulted About Us, everything goes blank and it can’t be reversed.

Does anyone have clear instructions on how this can be done?
