Ecobiz is giving me an irreconcilable problem.

Recently our telephone # changed and I am trying to change it, and other information, in the back panel ECOBIZ optionsframework . Of course I go to the WP back panel and the ECOBIZ menu, with the submenus. Whenever I change anything, even a single digit, and click the ‘Save All Changes’, the ONLY thing that happens is a blank white page and a long, very long link in the address bar that is usually 3,385 digits long.

I was able to change the Contact Info generated from the options into the widget, but using text just doesn’t look as good as the auto-generated information taken from the optionsframework.

However, the most important thing is this: When I try to make ANY change to the ECOBIZ optionsframework, whether it is the year for the copyright or anything else, I still get only get the white screen, and nothing changes. I do need, for instance, to make a change to the copyright year, sitewide telephone #s, etc., and some of these things are ONLY done in the optionsframework.

Yes, I have reinstalled the theme, and this trouble was occurring before the latest update to WP.

I am also having problems with shortcodes – specifically list items. Reading back through the comments it seems this is an issue experienced by others. Can you help?

hi, for now there’s an issue with the dropdown menu shortcode in EP editor, but you can manually add your list shortcode, eg :
[bulletlist]
... your unordered list content here, formatted from WP editor list style
[/bulletlist]

I have just bought your Ecobiz theme from themeforest. I have a difficulty to set front page display in my wordpress website. By default, front page in Ecobiz theme is site overview page with four boxes. However, I want to change my front page to blog page. How can I do this?

Hi, you can create a page first and assign your page to Homepage with Blog page template, now go to Settings => Reading => Front page displays => A static page (select below) => Front page : now select your page that already asigned to Homepage with Blog page template.

I have tried your solutions. However, with your solution, the slider is disabled. The blog page only shows single image and not slider. I want slider with blog template. Can I?

Hi, yes you can still have a slider in your homepage blog page, be sure you have set the “Page slideshow type” in Page Options below the editor when you editing your blog page.

I am having problems with the contacts page. First the GoogleMaps was not showing so I removed the script and replaced with one from GoogleMaps, then I noticed that the contacts page is not submitting queries. Kindly assist urgently since this has cost me a lot of time.

Hi, most of theme files has been modified in latest version, so there’s no backward compability with the older version, you need to backup your old theme files and try to fresh install the latest version.

Is it true that EcoBiz is no longer being updated? I was told this by a developer and wonder how I would go about checking this. My site was hacked and it was suggested that it could have been that the site wasn’t getting updated regularly.
