i bought edge through wpbandit.com ealier in the year, does this mean i will have to buy it again?

i can sign into the old dashboard, where i have edge and simplicity, but its the version from may.
This has been fixed. Working on a better solution but use the old dashboard for now.
What font is used for the logo? And does this theme come with a .psd? It’s not listed.

Hey there!
The font used in the logo is called “Fontin Bold”. As for PSD , it’s not included as the theme went through so many revisions that it ended up nothing like the original PSD . I could probably put together a new PSD though, if you feel it’s important to have.
Thanks for the reply, however “Fontin Bold” or at least the one that I downloaded from the net isn’t the same. And I’ve looked on many font sites…not even close.
I really want to purchase this template, however.. if you claim you don’t get a .psd with it.. then this is not a good theme and I’ll look elsewhere. If you present a unique look.. like the logo you used.. people expect to receive that (me).
YES ! Please add the .psd to this file with the font used. Otherwise this template is useless.. Meaning… how would anyone duplicate this look without?

My mistake, sorry – “edge” is Script MT Bold, “The Magazine” is Avenir. We’ll add logo and layout PSDs as soon as possible. We’ll add logo and layout PSDs as time permits.

- Added transition effect for featured entries on single pages
- Added front page layout.psd
- Added logo.psd

Potential purchase of your template… i have been looking around for a “featured stories” section just like this one…pretty much exactly.
But how many featured stories can i put on the home page? is there a limit? and what about the category for the featured stories? can it be set easily such as “all categories”, “most popular”, etc.?
Is there no “gallery section”?
You can have up to 15 featured stories. Category is easily set but you can only pick 1 category. On the demo site we have a category named “Featured” and all posts are assigned to that category.
Are you talking about the standard WordPress gallery or a separate custom built gallery?
I really like the featured stories, but is it possible to add a slider and widgets in the homepage.
I know in the demo doesn’t show these options, but is there any way to add them or these will be added in a future version?

Not a way to do it at this time but we’ll look into adding it. Typically we release and add features based on feedback we receive from members.

only 15 featured stories? so if i add the 16th, the first one added will.. go away? There is no navigation at the top… is this an error or intentional? Would be nice to add other features to this like a gallery, CONTACT , map, faq, etc… this has to be the first template that does not have these.
And is there any way to have a sortable gallery like your HTML version? Sortable gallery would be absolutely perfect! http://demo.wpbandit.com/?theme=peakWe put 15 as limit, as we thought that articles would no longer feel “featured” in a list of, lets say 25 items. It’s pretty easy to change the number manually though, by editing files.
If you add 16, your oldest featured story will not be displayed. It will still be in the featured category, but will be off the slider list. The 15 newest would be listed.
Edge does not have tumblog format features as Peak, for gallery sliders etc. But, normal wordpress galleries will work just as usual, with a list of thumbnails.
Hi there, It’s nice theme I like it. But I want to make sure if this theme will be work fine with RTL language with some changing or not? Also, I have techblog right now and the picture for every post appear in the center before the text in the main page (home page) for my blog like Engadget.com. For that can I go ahead with that way or I should to change to thumbnails way.

The theme has got language fields in the admin panel for all non-wordpress standard fields, so you can fill in exactly what you want it to say there in a few minutes.
As for images, to have a centered image and then text – I would disable our post thumbnails for posts, and then simply put the image in the post itself and use the <!
-more-> tag where you want the “Continue Reading” to appear. Should work well. You would have to make sure to set it as featured image though, in order for it to appear in the sliders.Thanks for fast helping. Do you plan to add a contact page or form to this template, and ads widget?

Not at this time – might come in a later update though. It could be solved with existing plugins for now, there are plenty of great ones with widget support.

It is SEO -optimized and comes with an admin panel with plenty of options.
I bought this theme and I love it so far. I noticed though that the short code for columns don’t appear on the demo. I’m pretty familiar with wordpress and have used short code for columns before. I’ve tried [one_fourth] and [one-fourth] but they didn’t work. Maybe I’ve missed something super obvious but Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and great work on this theme!

Is there an easy way to remove the date from the side of a post and instead have it in a more traditional style under the title of a blog post?
Yea, that should be simple. Some css fixes should fix most of it.

Adding that to your custom.css, and then adding the date below the title simply by copying the code that is used on single.php to index.php. We will help you out with it on our support forums if you run into trouble.

Love your work, congratulation the theme looks awesome! Bought it and i’m happy with it.
Some recommendations for you though:
- the comment forms works nice, would be ok if you will built-in styles for the forms (like the comments)
- a max-value for the youtube videos not to exceed the post width
- i also had this ‘issue’ on my themes, added a sprite with all the bullets/icons. If i exceed the title in the sidebar the next icon appears. In my opinion you could try either increasing the distance between the icons in sprite or add separate icons for each type of title.
