Could you add a full width single post template?
We could possibly do that in a future update, yeah.
Couple quick quests – can you put a post into featured and another cat, or is it just featured?
Also – the date tag on the left. Can I hack that to say something else? Days the post has been posted, or days until it goes away – or something – I guess my question is, where is that hook and will it break anything if I hack it to do something else?
You can pick any of your categories from a dropdown to be the “featured” category. However, you can only pick one – not multiple.
As for the date, it uses normal wordpress codes. Easy to change / “hack” to whatever you want.

But could you please explain us how to make logo.psd work! We will write our actions what we did so you can correct us.
a). We made logo in psd fomat, and replaced it in the theme. And placed it on our hosting.
b)After we tryed to upload it in theme options/general/logo url – http://oursite.com/wp-content/themes/edge-package/resources/logo.psd
c)Then upload took infinity and nothing changed!
And another moment is : how to activate pictures in features? In our post which we add to feature line, is picture in the begining of text. The post on news line is with picture.

a) As for the logo, try to save it as a PNG 24 or a JPEG , and then upload in in admin panel. PSD will not work.
b) /themes/edge-package sounds strange. The whole package should not be uploaded, but the zip called Edge within it. It should be /themes/edge[number]/. Make sure the right zip file is uploaded, not the whole package.
c) In the right sidebar of the post, in wp-admin, click the “Set featured image” link and upload the image of choice.

Hi, great theme, I have just purchased it.
I am trying to setup my first few blog posts and it seems that by default I am having the whole post appear on the homepage instead of the snippet or excerpt you show in the example. The images I have in the post also show up here (in addition to the featured image), many of which are wider than the available space.
Where do I go/how do I stop it from showing the complete post and not have any images appear in the excerpt?

Potential buyer but I have several questions to clear up before proceeding with the purchase. I’m rather new to Wordpress HTML so please provide clearer explanations.
1. Is this theme fully optimized for Google AdSense ad units especially with 728×90 or 468×60 for header, and 300×250 or 336×280 for right sidebar?
2. Is the width of the sidebar and the main post customizable?
3. I have previously read this, but I’d like to reconfirm. For the main page, I do not like the image thumbnails for each post. Can it be replaced with full width image (in accordance to post width) instead?
4. Is the logo image on the left side of the header customized through text or image? If image, can I upload my own design? And if yes again, what are the appropriate dimensions and criteria (for example transparent background).
5. Is this fully compatible with Disqus plugin?
7. Is technical support provided in the support forums?
That’s all I need for now. Hopefully my next questions will be in your respective support forums.

1. To be honest, we did not have ads in mind when we made the theme, other than the 300px width sidebar. It should be easy to put ads there with widgets. With some manual modification in header too. Nothing is in-built though, so header needs some custom css etc.
2. If you edit the CSS -file it is, might need a few changes. The theme uses 960 gridsystem, so you can easily change grids in files too, instead of css-overriding.
3. Yes, image thumbnails can be disabled and you can include a large image instead.
4. It is text by default. The demo site uses an image. You can easily upload a logo image through admin panel with one or two clicks, which will then replace the text.
5. No idea there – most of the comments template is wp default. If you would add Disqus my guess is that you would have to do a few manual edits to get it just right. No in-built support for it.
7. We support bugs, errors, general issues and slight modifications of existing features. As an example, we would be unable to help you with Disqus implementation since that is not a feature the theme comes with – but we can probably give some pointers to specific questions, if the question relates to existing stuff in the theme. We try to help out as much as we can though.

I have purchased the theme and verified that the Disqus plugin works flawlessly with the theme except the “Edge recent comments” widget in the home page.

No, the feature is not likely to be added soon – we have quite a few things in queue with higher priority at this time. It might be added later on, but can not tell you any specific dates and I can’t promise anything – sorry.

Having extra widgets (in the footer or the option to add them elsewhere) would be really nice.
I already bought this template but really miss this option. I see you guys already included this in your next theme, so I guess it would not be too time consuming to port this to Edge???
Might come in the future as an update – can’t make any promises at this time though.

For the posts below the featured stories, will the theme allow for you to only show the image and a headline….basically leave out the summary copy?

There is no support for that, but I guess you could do it by placing the more tag at the very beginning, but then it will look empty to the right of the image. You’d probably have to customize it and move down the title beside the image to make that look decent.

Hi! Make sure you use the Bandit Recent Comments widget, and not Recent Comments widget. Bandit Recent Comments will display avatars.
So I am experiencing a problem with the theme. When I click on page 2 it goes to page 1 but the url says page 2. Any suggestions of what I am doing wrong?
