Hi, you’ll need to open the file /library/admin/panel.php and look for the following code:

Assuming your new font name is “ABC.font.js”, here’s how the above code should look like:

After making this change head over to the Edge admin panel and you’ll see a new font to choose from.

Thank you for being So Helpful! I got the Cufon update to work!! Yippee.. However, I have another question.

As you can see, the Cufon font I put in is rather “flowery / decorative” – I’m wondering if there’s any way I can keep using the DROID font in the menu / nav section? And If not, how do I change it to Lucida Grande or something else basic? And also, I’d super duper appreciate making the menu / nav text larger and more readable! I’ve tried in the screen.css but it didn’t do anything.

Hi again, for performance reasons I don’t recommend enabling more than one Cufon font per site so the following instructions will show you how to disable the cufon font in the main navigation at the top.

Edit the file /js/screen.js and replace:

Cufon.replace('h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, .nav > li > a, .portfolio-1-column-list .portfolio-title, .portfolio-4-columns-list .portfolio-title a, .portfolio-browse, .post-title, .testimonial-meta .testimonial-person, .bar-info-box span', { hover: true });

with:

Cufon.replace('h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, .portfolio-1-column-list .portfolio-title, .portfolio-4-columns-list .portfolio-title a, .portfolio-browse, .post-title, .testimonial-meta .testimonial-person, .bar-info-box span', { hover: true });

The above code will disable the Cufon font for the navigation. To change its size and font-family, add the following code to the Custom CSS field in the Edge admin panel:

.nav > li > a { font-size: 14px!important; font-family: 'Lucida Sans Unicode', 'Lucida Grande', sans-serif!important; }

I’ve just tested the theme in IE7 and everything looks great, strange you see those issues. I’ll take a deeper look into it though.

Hm…strange:) I use the program for testing IETester…

Hey, I too used IETester in the past and also ran into some unexpected and false results in some cases, since then I use the “real” browser for testing purposes

Nowadays it’s even easier, install IE9 and using the developer tools (F12 key shortcut) you can see any site with the IE7 , IE8 and IE9 engine.

Just like Breeze, you can add text to the home page description field like you would normally do in any other page – this content will appear below the slider and above the blog. Just add a 3 column structure with the shortcode manager and fill in the content you want.
