Good Work

Thanks a lot.

Clean and simple, the principal requests for an online store to sell its products :)

Thanks for the kind words.

Hola que tal, quisiera saber si este them es compatible con WPML. muchas gracias

matias_balbi

Hello, let me know if this theme is compatible with WPML. thank you very much

sdjentertainment

Thanks for checking out the theme. No, the theme isn’t compatible with WPML as of right now this theme is only available for Shopify.

Hi, I would like to buy this theme but want to find out if it’s ready for installation on Shopify. If not, will I get all the support to install it on Shopify?

Thanks

sdjentertainment

Sorry for the late response I’m away this week and have limited Internet. The theme is ready for upload through the admin panel of your Shopify admin. Once you’ve purchased the theme send me a quick message and ill send through more detailed instructions.

Good afternoon. Is this theme supports multilanguage and currency?? for Spanish and Mexican peso? Thanks!

sdjentertainment

As of now Shopify does not support multi-languages or multi-currencies. The only option would be to set up a specific Mexican site along with a specific Spanish site. Hope that helps out.

I cannot get to Theme Settings section, I get the loading message and a javascript error saying: (Uncaught DevelopmentError: Error! Couldn’t parse keypath in “logo_Web Safe_font”. Parsing error above.) and it doesn’t go ahead.

Is that a bug?

Thank you.

Hey Andrue,

Just sent you an email. Let me know if that works for you.

So is it very difficult to add paypal as a payment option at checkout? Or is it even possible, I have limited knowledge on site development.

thanks

sdjentertainment

Hey troxter,

That would be a setting through the checkout and payment options in your Shopify admin panel.

Hope that helps.

Hello Hello,

I just purchased your beautiful theme and im having the same problem with the “theme settings” not loading as “andreupifarre” did, can you send me that special email too?

thanks id advance

sdjentertainment

Just send me an email to themes@sdjentertainment.com and I’ll forward you the fix.

Hi there,

I’m having difficulty uploading this theme to Shopify – using both the Shopify site and the desktop app for mac. Would you be able to send me any instructions you sent pushweb that might help?

thanks

sdjentertainment

Hey eatkinson,

Once you’ve downloaded the file from ThemeForest, unzip it. Within that folder you will find two files

- EightyThree.zip (Main .zip file to upload) - Help (folder)

Within your Shopify admin panel go to the “Themes” section. Once on that page, in the top right corner you should see a “Upload a theme” button. Click on that and upload the “EightyThree.zip” file.

Once it’s uploaded just publish the theme and your good to go.

Thanks for purchasing the theme and hope this helps out.

Default-user

Thanks for that! This info definitely helped, but I also had difficulty navigating the Shopify site…

The “theme settings” link on the Shopify dashboard takes you to a different page as the “Themes” link in the man menu. If you click through directly from the dashboard, you miss the step where you’re able to upload your theme!

I know this is in no way your fault, but I thought I’d write it here in case anyone else was having similar problem.

Thanks for the great theme, I can’t wait to get going on my site :)

hi there

I’ve downloaded the theme, but – and I’m probably missing something obvious – but the Nav bard and Home page is auto revealed when the site is first visited, and then when I press the [x] button to get rid of the homepage, it doesn’t disappear. Any help?

Default-user

ouch – ignore the above – wrong theme!

After uploading a logo, I cannot get to Theme Settings section, I get the loading message and a javascript error saying: (Uncaught DevelopmentError: Error! Couldn’t parse keypath in “logo_Web Safe_font”. Parsing error above.) and nothing happens.

Can you check for me urgently?

Thanks.

sdjentertainment

Hey pushweb,

Send me a email at themes@sdjentertainment.com and I’ll be in touch.

Cheers.

Hi, great theme

In the display collections section, I don’t want to show all collections, is there a way to specify which collections are shown? I was fiddling around with the collection-listing snippet but couldn’t figure anything out.

Help would be appreciated, thanks

Hi SDJ,

Lovely theme. I'm sorry but even though I'm very familiar with PHP, Wordpress themes etc.. I'm new to Shopify themes. How would this template work? - I buy it and I need to sign up with Shopify for an account? So that I can see the Content Manager you here here: http://eightythree.myshopify.com/pages/features
sdjentertainment

Hey gotboom, that’s correct. You’ll have to have a Shopify account in order to use the theme. As far as I know there is no way to view the theme without one.

Hope that helps.

Hello, how do I amend or completely disable the mobile and tablet theme? Thank you so much

sdjentertainment

Hey lucievit,

Sorry for the late response, you question slipped through the cracks.

To disable the mobile theme you’ll have to edit the skeleton.css file in the Assets folder of the Theme Editor.

Scroll down to around line 75 and delete (or comment) everything down to line 260. Keeping the Clearing styles.

Hope that helps.

Is there a way to make the sidebar on the left? Or make vertical tabs instead of horizontal?

sdjentertainment

No Problem, all the best with your site.

Default-user

Actually I would still be interested if its possible to make your built in tabs vertical instead of horizontal. If not no worries…great theme, love it! :)

sdjentertainment

It is possible, but it would take a bit of work with getting everything up and running. If your familiar with HTML/CSS you can probably poke around with the following code and find a way to display it vertically.

CSS (starting at line 506)

/*    tabs    */
ul.tabs {
    display: block;
    border-bottom: 1px #e0e0e0 solid;
    list-style: none;
    margin: 0 0 20px 0;
    zoom: 1;
}
ul.tabs li {
    display:block;
    float: left;
    margin: 0 0 -1px 0;
}
ul.tabs li a {
    display: block;
    border-top: 1px #e0e0e0 solid;
    border-left: 1px #e0e0e0 solid;
    border-bottom: 1px #e0e0e0 solid;
    padding: 10px 20px;
}
ul.tabs li:last-child a { border-right: 1px #e0e0e0 solid; }
ul.tabs li a.active { color: #333333; font-weight: bold;  }

ul.tabs:before,
ul.tabs:after {
  content: '\0020';
  display: block;
  overflow: hidden;
  visibility: hidden;
  width: 0;
  height: 0; }
ul.tabs:after {
  clear: both; }

Hi Simon, Great theme. I’m curious- could I make it so that there was a zoom, or “see full image” option on the product listings? Thanks

sdjentertainment

Hey TinyWildWorld, Glad you like the theme. You could make a zoom or “full image” option on the product listing page. It will take a bit of work but the code is yours to play around with.

Default-user

Awesome, thanks so much!

sdjentertainment

No worries, all the best with your site. If you need a hand with anything let me know.

Hi there!

I’m wondering if I could feed for example three blog posts, or add other custom content to the homepage column items.

Thanks!

sdjentertainment

Hey awinch,

You have full access to the theme files so you can add/remove as much or as little you want.

is it possible to remove the carrousel in the front page? it’s all I need to know before I purchase.

sdjentertainment

Hey lauraxg,

Yes it’s possible to remove the carrousel on the front page. Just go through to your theme settings in your admin panel and scroll down to Home Page – Slideshow or Video and select “None” from the drop down and you’ll be all set.

You can see an overview of all the features at the following URL.

http://eightythree.myshopify.com/pages/features

Hope that helps.

Hey,

Great theme! But I’m having a little trouble displaying my collections on the homepage. All of my collections are showing but they’re not lined up. They follow a weird snake pattern with a lot of white space in between. When I use three columns it’s fine. However, when I use 4 columns, it reverts to that weird snake pattern. Can you e-mail me?

Thanks

sdjentertainment

Hey goosebrosnewyork,

Just sent you an email.

Cheers, Simon
