+3 moreThanks everyone! I really appreciate you kind words
when will this be a wordpress theme
trysil24SAYS when will this be a wordpress theme
Bump…
unfortunatley I dont think that this will be released as wordpress theme, sorry.
Hi
Great theme.
I’ve just completed a site using it and it looks really good.
Only one issue. In IE8 on PC the font in the accordian feature slideshow displays very jagged. I’ve tried to look at your live demo on Theme Forest (on the PC in IE8 ) but every time I try to view it the browser freezes!
Any pointers?
Thanks Paul
I ve already upploaded a fix for this, should be approved within the next hours
Viewing the preview in internet explorer you need to remove the themeforest iframe preview, dont know why that happens but it somehow kils the site in ie
I will announce the update here, as well as on twitter and facebook (links at the item description)
Kriesi,
Is there any chance you will reconsider creating a Wordpress version?
I bought both versions of Twicet which is incredible and I’d really, really like to buy both versions of this if they become available for a new project.
I’m sure it would sell very well.
Here’s hoping,
J.
I am currently in the process of building another theme and dont think I will release a Wordpress version of Elementia, but if it sells ok during the next few weeks I will maybe reconsider it.
Hi Kriesi,
Still having problems with jagged fonts in IE.
So far I’ve replaced the custom.js file
Can you advise me as to which files/scripts/lines I should be replacing. I don’t want to replace everything as the site is more or less finished.
Thanks
unfortunatley you also need to change the css file to make this fix work, exchanging the javascript doesnt solve anything, since its a CSS issue internet explorer has, the javascript is perfectly fine
Hi Kriesi,
I would also really like you to reconsider your statement and please do a Wordpress version of this one.
Would you ? Please ? pretty please ?
It would be a real hit i’m sure.
take care and keep up the great work.
John
Hey John, same answer here, I am currently not planning to do so, since sales arent that good, if they don’t drop and the html version sells ok for some weeks I might reconsider…
Hi Kriesi,
i think what might be happening is that people are not yet buying this version because they are waiting for the WordPress version. for the moment i know i am.
It would be a shame if you did not write a WP version because i would not be able to use the HTML version as i would need to adapt it for WP and i am not good at that (to be honest, i’m not at all good at that).
in fact, i would be very happy if you only sold WP versions of your themes
How many sales would you expect for this HTML version before considering creating the WP for this one ? knowing that might encourage some of us to buy this HTML to “sponsor” you in developing the WP version.
whatever you answer i will purchase this version during the weekend as a gesture.
I hope this will encourate you to do a WP version
take care,
john
Hey John, thanks very much for the offer, a really nice gesture. The theme didnt perform that good within the first week but if the sales are steady for lets say the upcoming 3 or 4 weeks it might very well be that I change my mind
This is a great template Kriesi. I really appreciate your good programming. I look forward to your future themes. A couple points, #1. The jagged font in the accordion slider and IE really renders that slider useless. I know I wish everyone was using a modern browser, but they are not and It makes your great template look bad with the jagged rendering IE does. I would hope to see a solution. I am having to go back to the faderslider to keep the quality consistent. I would prefer the accordion effect. #2. I also wish for a wordpress version. I find myself setting up for clients that the html is great for static and they wont mess it up but still have the wordpress for their blog conversation. Now for me a good theme that I consider purchasing almost requires both html and the wordpress version. I do hope you reconsider building it. Thanks again for your good work.
hey, if you downloaded the latest version and update the stylesheet as well as the javascript files you should notice that the jagged fonts in ie are gone now
and again, the wordpress version is not that likely currently, sorry…
I would have to agree with dmcdougall. Kriesi this is one of the nicer looking templates in the forest. WordPress Version is a must. These days most of the clients want both. People are getting more and more aware of SMM and power of blogs for advertising etc. Please reconsider. Thanks and keep up the good work.
A terriffic template.
I just now (4-7-10) re-downloaded the files to correct the jagged font in the accordion slider and IE, but the font is still jagged. Perhaps I didn’t get the corrected files because the new files were also dated 3-26-10 the same as the original files.
Can you give me a link to the corrected files?
I will have a look at the current download version but basically the newest file should be in place. if its not it will be by tomorrow
Hi Kriesi,
I have also had a client choose this template and they might consider having it coded for Wordpress. Would you accept payment for this work, and if so, how much?
Otherwise I might turn to the many PSD -XHTML-Wordpress services out there and have your theme coded for Wordpress. But really this has to be as cost-effective as possible. I would rather see the funds go to you, the designer, and then you can meet the request of your buyers here by having a Wordpress version.
That seems to me to be the best solution. What do you think?

Nice work dude,
is there anyway where can have the news slider moves automatically? like the case with the fading slider…
Sorry, unfortunatley currentl not. I will eventuallly implement that feature during the next weeks since I plan to improve the slideshow
Just I have Purchased this template but I didn’t get any help file with this Downloaded files.
Please let me know where is the help.txt file?
there is a documentation.html file within the folder documentation_html
hi kriesi i have download your template and it’s great … i have a question can please tell me what about this class.methods who call this class
Class.Methods = { addMethods: function(source) { var ancestor = this.superclass && this.superclass.prototype; var properties = Object.keys(source); };thanks a lot max
thats none of my code so I guess it might be anywhere within the jQuery library, cant really help with this, sorry.
Hi
We are having trouble getting WP to see the template when all files are uploaded?
Any ideas?
Thanks D
Well yes, it aint a wordpress template, therefore wordpress will have problems accepting it as one…
Yup. Just realised:)) No prob. We’ll use our CMS with it.
Hi Kriesi,
Just returned to this ‘problem’. Thanks for the info re jagged text.
You said that the problem is in the CSS file and that you have uploaded a new set of files (which I have downloaded).
Sorry to be a pain (bit of a beginner) – unfortunately I’ve changed quite a few elements in the original CSS files. Can you point me in the direction of which line(s) of code I’m looking for? Thanks PJ
