I love everything except the navigation menu. It took me a while to figure out how to get to other pages. Could there be an option to have it by itself at the top by chance? Or if it has to be on the side, could it be anything other than the same font as the rest of the stuff?
PS- If you have a workaround for that AND an XML dummy file is added, I will instantly buy this.

You’re in luck! I’ve had a few other questions/suggestions about the menu and i’m going to issue an update soon (either 2morrow or the day after) with some extra menu options.
Will be adding a dummy XML file too once i get it sorted.

Is there any way to have the video posts transition a little smoother when they first play. Right now normally when you click the play button the player blinks and shrinks down to the proper widescreen size, why not just make the player the proper video size from the start to avoid the jumpy animation when it first plays? Just a recommendation, nice work though!
Also, if you implement audio posts in the future I will definitely buy this. I like to post audiobooks on my site and I usually do that through the means of audio posts, they look very much like the video posts with the player. That feature would be awesome!
My last question is with the backgrounds. Right now when I jump from the blog to the homepage the background blinks for a slight moment showing a different image and then quickly changes to the usual one set for that page. This happens when switching from the blog to the homepage mostly. It’s kind of stuttery and flickers when you pay a close eye to it. Is there any way to have the backgrounds load in more seamlessly? Thanks!

Im working on the videoplayer as we “speak”. Im building in a pretty exciting new feature for wich i need to alter the videoplayer. I’ll definetly take a closer look to the video posts!
Audio posts are already featured, just not displayed in the theme preview (will add one too .. its obviously a bit confusing!)
Any “action” you see taking place is due to Blur.js doing its work. I included Blurring as an option to easily create those trendy blurred BG’s. Going to see if i can make it all transition a little smoother!
It’s always recommended to blur images yourself (with photoshop for example) though.

P.S. So I’ll turn off the blurring feature to see if the backgrounds load smoother. I agree with you, I will go ahead and blur any images beforehand if I want that desired blur effect.

The new navigation looks great, and I saw the audio posts, they look really neat. The video player looks nicer too.
The only little bug I saw was that the thumbnail of the video seems to span outside the margins of the video player itself. Take a closer look at the “Big Buck Bunny” video in the Blog section when it plays. The video is a little bit wider than the player controls. Great update though, I’m sure those little things are an easy fix in a future update.
I’ll be purchasing this one soon for a new project I’m working on. Thanks for all the great features and post types.

I was actually playing around with the responsive layout on my Google Chrome browser by resizing the window and I noticed that the same video post does not resize to the smallest width when you shrink the window. It’s also happening on my phone’s browser, the video stays a little bigger than the other page elements.
I also noticed that on my phone the volume toggle for the video player is not visible site-wide, on video and audio posts. Only the play button and gray progress bar show, with an empty space to the right.

About the volume controls on iphone: iphone doesn’t allow volume control by an external player. Only way to control volume is by the buttons on the side!
Hello – The (brown) background that you use on the home page demo site is that an image or can that be achieved within the sites ‘background colors’ facility – if so could you give me the settings?

The background for the mainpage is using this image: http://tienvooracht.nl/themes/elevate/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/paved-road-150x150.jpg set to a blur radius of 20, with the overlay style set to darken and the overlay opacity set to 0.65 (ofcourse using a full screen image background).
The fine lines in the navigation are new since update v1.1 .. so be sure to download the download package again and re-upload the theme files!
Some more new cool stuff is included in the update so be sure to check it out!

Hi. I tried to use your layout with my wordpress site, but when I used an iphone simulator the drop down menu was not functional. I also used your demo on an actual iphone and the navigation was still unresponsive. Will you be fixing this issue? Thank you

You’re right! It was a small bug regarding the mobile version of the menu. This issue is now fixed .. so make sure you download the theme files again and re-upload them. You should be good after that!

I installed the latest version and used it on my site but it still does not work. If you run it on an iphone simulator the navigation is not responsive. Can you fix this issue?

I searched very long for a theme like that.
I have some questions and I hope you can help me.
1. Is it not possible, if I sort by category, to show the arrows « » next page – previous page, when in this category maybe are 50 posts and I set in wordpress 25 posts/page? At the moment, it shows only 25 posts and it looks like, there are no more posts.
2. Is it possible to mouseover on an image (blog) and make the image click-able to the permalink? I like to delete the anchor Icon and make the image clickable. Only the eye icon should appear.
3. I tried hard to delete some grey 1px lines (light theme) and didn’t find them in the main css. First the lines under the »blog« images. Second the lines on the bottom of the »page« sites. Third the line under the category headline: »Portfolio Archives: Photography«.
Sorry for so many questions. I hope you can help me.
