Hi! I understand this defeats the purpose, but I have a client who would like to see a fullscreen home page. Is that possible?
Yes, you can use a Fullscreen Gallery as home page.
One more question: I use the portfolio page as homepage. While it loads images, the full portfolio area (looks to be portfolio_container) is black, + the loader. I didnt find it in the styles.css. Do I have to modify the bootstrap.css?
If U can tell me the best way to change this.

Great theme. Thanks! There’s only one little thing I’m trying to figure out: I can’t seam to be able to sort the Categories (and years) in the Portfolio. I would like them to be sorted alphabetically. I also can’t find the code line where it gets the categories. Can you help me with that? That would be awesome! Thanks
The Portfolio categories are sorted as they were created. You have to create them in the same order you want them.
I noticed. That is the draw back as I might need to add categories later and don’t want to have to re-categorize all the entries just because I had to delete them all and re-enter them in the right order.
Is there a work-around to get some sorting() function in there somewhere? Same goes for the years. Thanks. PS: How about a weighting like in the other menus?

The Portfolio categories are sorted as they were created. You have to create them in the same order you want them.
Is it at all possible to create a method by which to sort them? This would be a huge help otherwise we would have to recreate the categories in full an reassign ALL our portfolio posts each time we wanted to add a new category? Please forgive my ignorance as I am not experienced in coding but would it be a case of adding a small “sort alphabetically” piece of code to the categories section?
I’d be extremely grateful for this as it is quite common in most other designs I have tried but I love your work and would love to use it for our purposes here.

Thank you so much – if we were to change the ID number in the MySQL database then this would effect the change as a temporary work-around?
That will create conflict with WordPress. Changing the Database is always risky.

Is it possible to have different sliders on different pages? For example I would like the slider on the home page to show different images to a slider I have on another page. This would be a great help!

The Home slider is meant to be displayed on the home page only. But you can create a Gallery page with an other slider.

When creating a gallery page, adding photos is easy enough, but is there a practical way of removing a photo after you’ve added it without deleting it permanently from your media library?
Also, on a portfolio page, I’m having troubles with photos being forced to appear in a certain width and height, regardless of their resolution. The result being very large lowres pixelated photos. Any workarounds that involve photos being shown in original width and height?

1) Unfortunately you can’t. You have to remove it from the media library.

Hi a real nice one!! now ,I have a question. If I want to use the Home page in landscape mode, it looks that pictures are resized bigger than what they have been uploaded. How do I have to upload pics ( size) to have them fit in full mode (landscape) and appear the same in different screen size with different resolution? can you help out?
By Home Page in landscape mode you mean full width? If that the case you can upload the image at any size and the Theme will resize the them. And if you use full-width page you can make the images bigger by changing a line of code.

Hello, just installed Elitist theme. I uploaded pictures into a flex gallery and notice the image crops on the edges. Wondering what the aspect ratio is in pixels to use full bleeds of image area? Thanks
In the Flex gallery the images are 940×528px

Hello there. I was creating some portfolio folders. When i view the portfolio I realized that the images in Landscape displays fine but the images in Portrait seems to enlarge which necessitates people to scroll up and down to view the complete image. I am using image size of 1024px on the long edge.
I hope you understand what I mean.
Can something be done? Or what picture size do you suggest to Portrait Pictures?

You can edit the widget in “elitist/framework/widgts/social.php” I will also try to add this in the next update.
Just one question – is there a way to get my money back? I like this Theme, but it doesn’t work well / drives me mad. If I get one thing run, another thing happens. I have set up the page 3 times and my images always disappear after a while without a reason. Btw – it is not my first Theme I have bought or set up, but the first one I don’t want to use anymore. It already cost to much time without any progress. A lot of questions which i have were discussed in the forum, but couldn’t help me. Even the XML Import did cause trouble with the images.

You can add regular text above the Gallery but not into each image, sorry.

You have to do it in “elitist/gallery-flexslider.php” and combine with Javascript.
