Hi Minti, I want to know how can we upgrade Elogix from 1.9 to 2.0 as there are no instructions on the folder downloaded from TF. Should we choose “upload theme” from wp or should we upload via ftp and overwrite the old files? This is important as I want to keep my current theme set up. Also, I have tried to register to your new support site http://mintithemes.com/forums but I didn’t get any email with my password so I cannot gain access to it. Regards
Hey there, you can just overwrite the files via FTP, please notice that you may loose your Theme Options Panel settings, as there were some changes done, so make sure to copy the Cusom CSS codes if you are using some.

Hey there & thanks for purchasing, I truly appreciate it. Child Theme should work out-of-the-box with the child-theme demo I included, let me know if you are experiencing any problems with that via E-Mail or Forums

Are you refering to the XML file, or..? I would like to make my own child theme based on Elogix, and if I remember correctly, somewhere in this comments you wrote that it is necessary to include some other folders to get it to work.. Or was that for another theme?

Hey there, Child Themes work, but you have to copy 2 folders with the child-theme, not only the style.css.
Oh well, the style.css should be enough with the latest version. I can send you a demo folder if you shoot me an email.

Hi I tried doing the update to 2.0 both through the Envato auto updater and just replacing the theme via FTP. Both caused huge problems with the site. There are more breaks than just copying the custom CSS. all the setting were gone, Sliders, logos, page styling, all the text I had in the footer, copyright, etc. Nothing was there except the page content
Do you have a way I can update this site without loosing all the info or having to spend hours redoing everything. thanks in advance
Hey there, actually there are some changes made to the theme options panel, so if you plan to update these options might get lost, but only the theme options, the other pages & settings should stay as they are.
As the Theme Options Framework I am using for this theme doesn’t provide a backup option Actually there’s no other possibility actually, I’m sorry.

Hi I would like to purchase this theme but want to make sure the content can all be viewed by search engines. Was looking at the page with the tabbed content and it looked like it was done using iframes and not visible by search engines. Can you please comment on the SEO potential with this theme? Thanks!

Inovado is built with SEO best practices in minds, means it’s optimized for page speed, uses the headlines in the right order, also every content is searchable and in the correct order. For example the sidebars are always below the content no matter if its aligned right or left. Also the side navigation doesn’t use iframes, every content is on a single page which you can optimize for SEO purposes. Hallo Minti Ich mach die Anfrage auf Deutsch, da mein Englisch Grotten schlecht ist. Wir möchten ein Video in den Slider auf der Startseite einbauen.
Die Idee ist, dass wenn man auf das Bild klickt, sich das Video öffnet mit einem dunklen Hintergrund. Jetzt hab ich schon etwas rumgespielt, und wenn ich HTM Codes in den „Slide 1 URL“ schmeisst er alles wieder raus.
Hast Du eine Idee für den Anfänger wie man das lösen könnte.

Hi Minty,what I am sayig is that for some reason the shortcodes are not in the theme in the first place, I use themes all the time and know shortcodes very well, what I am saying is that there seem to be no shortcodes in the theme, I even reinstalled the theme. this is the site:

Quick question. It seems the “recent work” scroller only allows max 10 items to be listed in the right-left scroller. My client has like 20 or so that i need to include in there, and already have them listed as Works…but this area is only populating with the most recent entries.
How do i set this up to allow for a higher number of images?
