Hi, I have some presale questions please reply ASAP.
My idea is to make a website similar to Fotolia.com, please confirme if this requirements are available in your solution:
- Registration of clients
- Be able to choose pictures by category, title, keyword
- Be able to choose 2 or 3 types of resolution of the same image
- Buy with PayPal or 2Checkout or other portal
- Option to buy credits packages that will be used to purchase images
- Download the photo after the payment is confirmed
- Auto-placing a watermark on the preview photos
- Add, Edit, Delete images categories
- Create Packages credit to purchase images
- Posibility to create several users so that they can add their photos, each user should have the posibility to make the following of what they sell.
- Manage (approve or reject) photos placed by a User
Fotolia.com is very complex setup – however most of the functionality you require can be obtained via plugins. No themes will have this functionality be default.
I’ve designed the theme to integrate with the woocommerce plugin – this will allow registration, choose by category, title, search keyword etc.
It will also have the various checkout portals ( I do not think it will allow credits ) and download of digital goods after purchase.
The images uses for preview can be different from the downloaded goods, so you can use alternative methods for adding watermarks and then upload to the individual products.
The user submitting photos etc will be separate again, I’d recommend doing a search for plugins that maybe able to do this. Obviously if they’re a user on WordPress that has contributor user level, they can create their own products.
what do i edit to replace the beaches scene beneath the carousel on the demo? it has the opix copy and image hovering above. i see how to edit that – but not the image beneath. thanks
In future I recommend using the Help Center @ http://help.themeva.com – questions are answered more frequently there.
Do you mean the parallax background? If so, you can edit the row that contains the feature boxes.
I hope that helps?
Firstly I am a big fan of your theme and love the design and simplicity. Great work!
I am submitting a sitemap to webmaster tools and was wondering if its possible to have the 404 Error page list on the sitemap (template), as webmaster tools is picking this up as an error with it missing.
Do you have some handy php I could add to the sitemap template php so that the 404 error is also listed?
All good I have fixed my own issue
Hi, I’m glad it’s resolved. What did you do in the end?
I love your theme! I have some questions before buying…
1. if having the fullscreen slider is it possible to show the list of pictures for example in a line on the bottom to have an overview of all pictures in this gallery?
2. or if having a grid gallery is it possible to click on a picture and it opens as a fullscreenslider?
—> so I want an overview of a gallery and each picture shown in fullscreen slider…
3. Is it possible to have several fullscreen galleries or have one with different categories?
4. Is it possible to add some space between the pictures of the grid?
Thanks a lot
1. At this stage it’s not possible – it’s something I’ve been considering to implement.
2. The closest to this is the lightbox functionality – you click an image in the gallery and it opens within lightbox and you can cycle through the rest of the images within the gallery.
The script used for the lightbox also allows thumbnails, so once you’re viewing the gallery images within the lightbox, you can see the rest of the images in thumbnail format.
I can help you set this up.
3. Yes it is, you can assign categories, different slide sets and then setup a fullscreen slider on any page you choose.
4. Yes it is, there is an option to add padding via the admin options
thanks for your quick response! Well maybe I could work with that…
or another idea:
Is it possible to jump via a link to a certain picture inside the fullscreenslider? so I could make my one page with a grid of pictures and when I click on picture number 3 links to the third picture of the fullscreenslider…
Unfortunately not with the standard setup, however I can help you add a bit of script that will allow that and I’ll implement into a future version.
I won’t get chance until Monday now, but if you post onto the Help Center – I’ll help you implement it.
perfect thanks a lot!
purchased the theme and what’s done so effortlessly on so many other themes i’ve purchased seems so needlessly complicated on this one. i want my main portfolio page [filtered] via featured images and categories leading to the page with only the gallery of images in that set. JUST that. i don’t want the featured image to appear large on the top with the title. plus, i don’t see it, but is there a way to display related posts on the same page as the gallery page?
It can be achieved, there are multiple ways of achieving it. I’m willing to work with you to make the process easier – can you post onto the Help Center @ http://help.themeva.com how you would usually achieve this and I’ll look to improving it.
One way of doing this currently is to create your Portfolio Posts > Set a Featured Image > Additional tab and set the Image to appear in Archive ( stopping the single image from displaying ) > Insert a Gallery via the VC using either images from a Slide Set or by attaching images to that post ( see the attached datasource method ).
I bought the theme and activated with the pluging evanto tool kit, just that when I go into the ‘look I do not see anything … how do I
Please can you post your WP login details onto the Help Center @ http://help.themeva.com and support will take a look for you shortly.
On the leave a review pop up box the stars do not show. The woocommerce.css stylesheet points to ‘background: url(../images/star.png) repeat-x left 0;’ but the image does not exist.
I added my own, but it looks naff.
Can you post this onto the Help Center @ http://help.themeva.com and I’ll post a fix for you very shortly.
Replied with a fix
I’m wondering if I can easily make the main navigation in the header instead of the left sidebar and if this will support full screen video.
Unfortunately there is no option to make the navigation at the top. Yes, the if you watch the 4th slide on the home page you’ll see the fullscreen video:
OK. Thanks for the follow up.
I have been trying to locate where the auto-hide switch is, because my menu is not sliding out, but I cannot find the switch, including in the previously mentioned Appearance > Theme Options > Header.
The option to auto-hide the menu is only available on the Full Screen slider – you’ll find the option for this in Page > Add Gallery > Full Screen > Auto Hide menu.
I don’t understand why my site is not responsiv 100 procent please take a look. It’s about the home slider…www.roalf.dk
That site is not using the ePix theme and doesn’t support responsive.
great theme, I love it. Sorry for my bad english.
If I use a grid gallery. And ther are a lot of thumbs on one page and you have to scroll a lot. Is it possible to spread the thumbs to several pages?
and ad on the bottom something like this < 1 2 3 4 5 >
Greetings from Germany.
I’m glad you love it
Is that using the Slide Sets? If so, I am planning on introducing an option for paginating slides.
There is one way of doing it which is using the <!--nextpage--> tag to separate multiple grid galleries ( add via the Visual Composer ).
If you would like more information on this, please post on to the Help Center @ http://help.themeva.com
re: the grid gallery: how do i remove the menu tab above that reads: All Portrait Scenery City ? I’m only displaying six images and don’t need this option. Thank You.
That’s the “Filtering Option” – edit the Grid Gallery and uncheck this option. I hope that helps?
If you have any further questions, please use the Help Center @ http://help.themeva.com.
First of all, I want to thank you for creating this awesome theme. Really powerful yet elegant to fit any site imaginable.
I want to ask a quick question : I’ve purchased this theme yesterday and I was looking through the (really extensive) documentation. But I failed to see the section where how to create the Contact Page (as the Demo displays). Surely, somewhere in that, must be a way to explain how it’s done but I couldn’t find it. Looking also in the Page templates, there’s no specific template available for it. Is there a more specific way to implement something like this ? Meaning, how do we make it ? Through some custom type or through the visual builder ? Or there’s another way ?
Can this be answered through here or do I have to join your support page to get the required solution ?
I hope I get a reply as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance.
Thank you, I’m glad you like it
It’s best to use the Help Center @ http://help.themeva.com – you’ll find most questions have been answered already.
Good question, it’s usually in the demo data. However if you’re not using that, it’s not much use.
Can you post onto the Help Center and we’ll provide the shortcodes ( for the visual composer ) for you to paste onto the page.
Just purchased your beautiful theme. I would like to add a hyperlink or permalink to my masonry page image. I would like to link this to a gallery page. I have had a hard time finding any info on this. If it is a coding issue can you provide me with the code and where too place it in my theme. And if i do this would it be better to do it in your child theme or would i lose some functionality.

I have two presale questions:
I would like to see the “boxed” version (instead of full screen), but this option does not seem to be working on the live demo.
Is there an option to display portrait-oriented photos in the galleries? I’m only seeing landscape-oriented photos anywhere on the site.
1. That’s strange, it’s working for me – try it on this page: http://epix.themeva.com/home-example-iiii/
2. Yep, it fully support portrait too. See the grid gallery here for example. http://epix.themeva.com/grid/
I’ve setup a test page here too, so you can see the Stage gallery with portrait images on:
Great! Thank you! The boxed option worked with that link … it just seems not to work on the first screen that shows up on the live preview.
No problem. It doesn’t work on the home because the full screen slider doesn’t have a boxed version, it’s meant to be full screen only.
Hi – Ok, just need to vent a bit here – looks like a great theme but how in the world am I supposed to send this style to a client? The photos on this are WAAAYY too racy to send – especially if it’s a female client. Maybe you could have a secondary mockup with regular photos (you know, without the panties, balloon sucking, etc…) I bet you’d triple sales of this theme if you did this.
Wonder how many people have purchased this theme just to put their own photos in before sending to a client for pre-approval.
I can understand where you’re coming from, however the images are not random or meant to be seedy, they’re by Andrea Olivo who is an amazing photographer.
I’ve not had any other complaints, only compliments.
Never said they were random or seedy. Just too racy to send to professional clients. I understand that you appreciate Andrea’s artistic talents with nudes or near nudes, etc. Just saying it makes it impossible for me to send to a client because high fashion nudes, etc aren’t typically for everyone.
Not judging – just letting you know what would probably get you more sales.
I do appreciate the feedback, the only thing I can suggest at the moment is I am building up a showcase ( I can’t post them here until I have permission ), however I do know I can use this one ( The skin is slightly different from the standard one ):
Cool Take care
Just to let you know, I’ve changed out the images – I hope that’s more suitable?
Hmm, it looks the same to me.
Hi, congratulations for the beautiful template!
I would like to ask before buying an information.
you can keep the left sidebar fixed (this is where the logo) without disappearing after a few seconds?
Yes it can stay static too, by default it is anyway.
Hi, I’m actualy using this theme but since Worpress update to 3.8.1 last night Visual Composer isn’t working anymore ??? How can I do ?
I’ve just tested with 3.8.1 and it’s working fine with Visual Composer. Try clearing your Browser cache and if that doesn’t work, please post your WP login details onto the Help Center @ http://help.themeva.com and support will take a look for you.
I could not locate the answer to a couple of questions regarding your theme. Please advise if the menu font size can be increased and if there is a footer to insert text for biz address and contact number?
Thank you in advance.
Yes you can increase the Menu Font size via the Admin Options and you can also add upto four columns of any widgets you wish for in the footer.
I have a logo, but I want to make it look bigger.
The theme doesn’t allow this.
How can make the settings in such a way that the logo will be bigger, but the theme will also resize the image according to the screen the customer uses to view my website?
Can you post a link onto the Help Center @ http://help.themeva.com and support will take a look for you to see if there is anything we can do to increase the size of the logo.
