Hello, we are really interested in purchasing your theme, but the only thing holding us back is it hasn’t been updated since August 2011.

Are you planning on releasing a new version compatible with the newest Wordpress 3.5.1 release? If so, when do you expect it’s release?

I am trying to get the slider to show up on our homepage. I have put two slides in the “Slides” section but they are not displaying on our homepage. Is there a short code or something we need to add to the home page to get the slider to display?

Quick question. I want to have a home page with the slider but I want to be able to have some additional content outside of the featured products. If I set my home page to static then the rotating slider is gone. I would like to have the slide and the option to keep the use of the featured products for the future. It seems the current home page is dynamically built. It is important for the client to be able to change the additional text/images I need to add to the homepage.

Can anyone help me figure out why my homepage slider isn’t showing up. I have home set to default page template, items in the slides dropdown, I even tried putting “slider” as one of the categories in posts as the documentation suggests. None of which resulted in a working slider. PLEASE HELP!!!

I can anyone help me set my slideshow to the site, because I did not figure out how to set it up.

Is Version 1.1.0 compatible with WP 3.5.1?

adman1, yes it is in my experience. I wish this developer would either support the theme better or hand off future development and support to another developer or open-source it, but it does at least perform OK under 3.5.1. Although I personally gave up on the developer for my personal site after imploring Envato incessantly to light a fire under his behind, I have a client running it fine under 3.5.1. Truly a theme with nice features and great potential that has woeful support.

I do not recommend purchasing this theme! I purchased this theme because I was trying to help a friend who is opening a restaurant. I’m a web designer/developer and I thought buying a theme would help speed up the process, but I found that I had to fix so many things that it just isn’t worth it.

1. It is extremely difficult to update the logo. It has to be done with css, no upload in the theme options panel.

2. You either have to use the mobile site or, if you disable it, the site doesn’t load on mobile devices at all. Also, the mobile site is completely broken on windows phone, and once again there is no easy way to customize the mobile theme besides just straight up editing the code. You should be able to, at the very least, disable the mobile site and have it fall back to the normal desktop site so that you don’t have to manage 2 separate sites if you don’t want to.

3. Widgets break when put in the footer as if they were never tested at all. This is really sad because there are only, what 15 widgets and 4 different regions that they can go in? As a developer this lack of testing makes me sick!

4. I had to fix basic things like paragraph tag margins, there were none so paragraphs of text just ran together. Emphasis tags were styled to have a font-style of normal which takes the italic away when it’s applied in the wordpress editor.

Just overall a really poorly made theme with a real lack of attention to detail! If you’re not good with code, good luck with this theme!
