A question about the reservations form.

Where is it possible to change the numbers of characters input for guest no.? Currently you can only add a two digit number. How could you make it a three or four digit input?

Duh PrimaComm, I just realized after going through all 29 pages of comments and revising the updated code that we don’t have to go through that much effort anymore to order categories, but can simply drag-and-drop reorganize them in the product entry interface. You created an elegant solution, but the issue seems to have been taken care of with the interface change in the 1.1.0 update. I tested it by reordering the drag-and-drop category elements to fit, then reverted your code changes, and they stlll display fine.

Hi. I want to be able to add a description to the category name in my “Price List” page, what code do i add to the functions-setup?

I also want to be able to show the category’s by date not by how many products they got (like it is right now). I don’t know how to change that.

I am using the theme and it doesn’t show more than 10 products. please let me know what is wrong with this theme?

psrsystems, I know I saw someone in the comments thread asking about and getting a solution to removing the newsletter subscribe request, but don’t remember the page. It’s a good idea to review the whole thread anyway, since you’ll probably run across other issues of interest to you.

As for your second question, haven’t seen anything about that one.

Hi Great theme. I do however really need to change the fonts to a specific one instead of the “steelfish” font. Can´t seem to find where to do that for the menu links ..?

How can I show the categories description on the “price list” page?

Regarding replacing the font in the menu.

1. Comment out the ‘Register Steelfish lines between line 14 and 16 in the Custom-adora.js file. 2. In the Style.css file, replace font-family:impact in ’#header .menu a’ (around line 300) with whatever font you want have.

You will alter the font overall so you have to cover for that where ever needed, just so you know.

There may be other solutions…

Ermark, it’s one thing to not answer your paying customers timely in this comment thread, but another completely when you don’t even do it when we try to contact you by the email box on your profile page. Is there some other way that you prefer? Because this is getting ridiculous. Some of us are pretty adept at customizing WordPress themes to our specific situations, and I certainly don’t expect a specific theme that a developer works hard to create to handle every customization that I want to do. But when you offer a product for sale, you really do have a responsibility to respond in a timely fashion to communications, even if it’s just to say “I don’t have an answer for you.” I would feel a lot better about having paid money for your creation if you would at least do that.

Where are the instructions located to install this thing? I have wasted two days trying to figure it out and I am very disappointed in a lack of clear instructions on how to use my purchase.

ozroandrays, I would suggest simply unpacking the zip file you get from themeforest and then use an FTP program like FileZilla to copy the complete “wp-adora” directory set into your wp-content/themes directory on the server. There should also be a documentation pdf inside your zip file which explains the “Theme Install” button you see after activating the theme within WP.

Wondering if anyone has found the place in the code to remove the product links on price lists and in the product showcase. In other words, I want the individual products to display, but I don’t want them to be hyperlinked to individual product pages.

crisk, haven’t seen that before. So, without knowing the innards of your installation, it’s hard to tell. Depending on how and if Ermark responds, you might want to have another Adora deployer take a look at your installation, especially since a modification of some kind might have caused the issue.

On a separate issue, our site has now launched, and I am simply living with my issues that are unresolved until Ermark either responds one way or the other or I figure out the solutions on my own. I have too much time and effort invested in this to simply walk away and go to another theme until I’ve had the time to really hash out a better alternative. One thing I would suggest to the rest of you: review the 30-odd pages and bookmark all the sites mentioned that developers have created using Adora. You may see someone else executing a process similar to what you’re trying to do, and you can learn from their efforts. It certainly helped me. I’ve been mystified as to why Ermark hasn’t attempted to create a gallery of Adora sites similar to what other Themeforest theme vendors have done, but that’s their responsibility to do so if one is going to be created. And on that note, here is our site developed using Adora:

I’ve made a fair amount of modifications from the norm to fit our needs, and beyond the annoying Internet Explorer issues, I’m reasonably satisfied with the state of affairs, even if I’m not very satisfied with Ermark themselves. Best of luck to you all in your own endeavor with Adora.

jmarkj – Go to functions-setup.php and towards the end of the page (mine is on line 1196) you’ll be able to remove the title links, also more down that page (line 1241) you can take out the ’..’ from the ingredients div.

Bought your theme a while ago and just starting to play with it. So far so good but was wondering why your demo site is broken. Would have loved to check all the pages of the demo site but you seem to have server errors.
