Yes, captions can be used transparent if you include it to the caption css with a rgba value.

Not via option but with a small CSS customization via our support.

Yes the nav can be changed with a small CSS customization too.

Presale questions -

1. Did you guys implemented this feature that all text on the slider can be hyper-linked what ever area/url I would like to?

2. Do you recommend to update theme by creating a child theme or just upload certain files via FTP ?

3. What are the plans for support in the future – will this theme be supported for certain time of it will continue to grow?

4. Can I have all dimensions and quality recommendations on the images that I will need to use on this theme. I think this as far is a big issue for customer point of view because if you don’t have a stunning images in correct quality/size – you could end up with quite ugly end.

You example looks stunning though but I am afraid it will be hard to design something like this according content/images that customer (well….I am talking about me personally) has and that will be colorful and not only grey/black/white.

2. Updates via File exchange with FTP so far (will check that child theme idea soon)

3. Yes as long it is for sale on TF we will provide support (no plans to put the theme down).

4. Agreed. The download includes dummy images with their size printed on.

Because: I need to understand – Do I have something like that and not. Sorry, but I need to dig on the subject a bit more because I am in very uncommon niche in the Art industry and there might be a big problem to get relevant images to match quality needed! Even, if I will be up to buy them!

It is slightly confusing – you have various options to choose sliders and one is full width and other is responsive. So I am wondering – If I will go for full width will I loose responsive design benefits or not?

Yes, it is responsive in a way that it fits into all screen sizes.

You can check how it would look like by changing the window size while having the theme and slider on the screen. And if possible close the ThemeSwitcher bar at top of the screen to get the best impression.

Aaaand this is of course no torture

Hi,

As I’m considering of purchasing the Escalation theme, I would appreciate if you could please advise on the following:

1. The language selection once added, where does it appear on the site from user’s perspective 2. Can the template’s main menu be changed in terms of color, adding adding a linked picture (to external/other site) to the main navigation, besides the existing company logo which is already linked. When on the main navigation, can the menu items also be placed in two rows. 3. Can linked items like privacy policy or terms of use, or site map be added at the site’s footer, also can the grey footer block be adjusted with content and color according to our needs 4. Is the form in the contact section functional, or a developer’s engagement will be required to be put into function. Also is there a possibility to add a field to the form for attaching/uploading files. 5. Can a search bar be added on the top instead of the social media icons 6. Can a site map be added 7. Is the template SEO optimized

FRICKIN AMAZING SKILLS !!! WOW , I just came across Revolution slider, then Ken Burner and thus this theme… man you ONE TOP SKILLED Designer indeed!! wow, really much respect to you… I am about due to pickup a new theme and am so impressed, the only thing is, mobile view is one of the first things I look at these days and is there ANYway in near future updates, this theme could have a smooth drop down menu like say http://The8Tees.com or http://BrettRigby.net, and not the older school Pop out bar (no offense just you are so cutting edge and that kind of menu always bothers me, keeps entire themes from feeling like 2012/13 super modern) IF You Do PLZ let me know so I can pickup this theme!! BEST what I know will be incredible year for You (here also)

Actually we did this navigation menu on purpose: 1) Mobile phones are sometimes not performant enough or simply have to bad browsers to waste energy for a menu. 2) Our design focus lies on the content that should be transported. So on small screens there should be no distraction from that. 3)On a mobile you see the natural selectbox scroller which is intuitive for every user.

you must open the css/screen.php file for that and search for


.lite_container {
   background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.20);
   padding: 25px 0px 30px;
}

To change the opacity use the last parameter of the background-color. 0 means total transparency, 1 visible with no transparency.

themepunch, like to start off by saying thank you for all your support.

But now I have come across several issues that need your attention:

Please Reference http://rockngraphix.com/ 1. The social icons intermediately disappears and appears for no particular reason. 2. The Facebook share option in the share bar does not appear. 3. When sharing an article, for example with Facebook, it does not post default image of that particular article you are sharing, so it looks like your sharing two of the same posts when in actuality they are two different posts/articles. 4. The mobile version is unstable, meaning that images are cut off, there are spacers or dead space on the right hand side when viewing with a mobile device and much more. Please see all the issues for yourself.

2. The Facebook share option in the share bar does not appear??? Alter the CSS for .socialshare_wrap { eg. height: 100;} It seems to small to make the fb button visible. You’ll find it in the themes style.css

Hi once again!

I have concern regarding H tags and website speed. Everywhere where i see this theme H tags and wrongly built and speed of the website is more then 7 sec(must be below 3).

Just wondering – is this because of the demo? Or those issues hasn’t been concerned previously?

we do not know exactly under which circumstances a certain page must load under 3 seconds but here on my computer it actually does with the homepage (guess you are talking about this one) http://www.themepunch.com/escalation/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/speed.jpg . We cannot remember hearing of a problem like this before. Maybe you did not close the purchase frame that surrounds the theme?

Headlines: We build it using a hierarchy beginning from H1 as the page title headline till H6 for small headlines used in the footer.

Hello again,

Yes, that was correct regarding the speed – I guess at the moment when I checked it the server had a lag. Now everything is on tip top shape!

Regarding H tags – I can not find any H1 on your demo site. It is not present not in Home page not any other pages. Home page has 0 Headings, All other pages as well. I was able to find headings in you main website – http://www.themepunch.com/home/ – and they are wrong as well – only H3 are present.

Please, advice.

The page title “Full Page” is h1 and please not that you can use any headline you wish inside the content part (that rule also applies for homepage content).

Thank you for your answer. Inside word-press you can use any H tags that you want when you are creating a content – it is by default for any theme. What I am worrying is HTML H tags code side of your theme which is not easy to change if you are not familiar with HTML coding.

As far as I can see – somewhere there is H tags, somewhere they are not even present and somewhere they are wrongly build.

Let’s see your provided example – 1th(http://www.themepunch.com/escalation/blog/):

H1>1,H2>0,H3>9,H4>0,H5>3,H6>0,

You see, it is wrong by the basic SEO standards. If you need to know why , please, send me PM.

2nd(http://www.themepunch.com/escalation/content-page-full/): H1>2,H2>1,H3>5,H4>1,H5>1,H6>27,

The same – H tags are wrong. ...............................................................................................

At Home-Slider page there are problems as well. What I am asking is – can your developers change/hard-code H tags across whole website by user request if this option is not provided in back-page/content creation area of the word-press? Or at least provide a simple guide how to!?

Thanks for the info. When your new update will be out, please, update your demo as well that we will be able to check SEO etc. implementation possibilities. I am particularly keen to see your H tags structure on all pages.

And one more think that could be interesting – I f you would be able to provide various color schemes for customers! It could add more flexibility and could roll out more ideas of the possible design.
