Great template, I love it! But do you have any idea why the design gets so messed up when sent to an outlook.com/hotmail.com account?

RocketWay

Hi oleyva,

it shouldn’t be ‘messed up’, probably there’s a reason for it, can you please mail us your html file so we can check it for you? info[at]rocketway.net

Does this work with Apple Mail? How do you insert it into the email?

RocketWay

Hi JohnAbernathy,

yes it’s compatible with Apple Mail, the easiest way to insert it into the mail is to open your email design in your Safari browser and hit cmd+I, your newsletter will open in your mail now. Important! Be sure all images are hosted somewhere and not local.

I just installed directmacmail and tested it, it looks great so, yes, it’s compatible! :)

Hi,

Thinking about buying your great template but just would like to know if you can help me customize it a bit ? For example, I might want to remove the “Read More” button below AWESOME, or some social logos from footer, can we do such thing after I buy it ?? Thanks, Mallory

Default-user

Ok I found out that we can remove the button, however will I be able to make the button background transparent instead of colorful ? Can I also edit the text size inside it ? I know a bit of coding but might need just a bit of help… :)

Hellos,

Loves this template.

Question:

What is the pixel size for the following images:

1. The top header 2. The images of ‘Joe Jos’ and ‘Clos Doe’ 3. The image of the country road.

I have been trying images of various pixels and each time the image appears fuzzy, so thought to ask before I buy.

Thanks for the answers and this awesome template !

Hi Noel,

Thank you for your purchase. We just replied your email :)

To answer your questions:

2. 60px X 60px
3. 60px X 60px

Hi, purchased the template but wondering whether I can also make this template into a box template.. any idea? thanks

RocketWay

Hi Gizan,

Thank you for your purchase.
Drop us an email with your HTML file to: support[at]rocketway.net and we like to make it boxed one single time without any charge.

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hey, in the template builder, the Mail is boxed, but what I get out is full width. Why can’t I change it?

Also it’s a problem when having created a special template for 2 hours and clicked on a link by accident: Everything is lost!! :-(

Can you implement an export / import tool so we can save our work and end it later? That’s very very important…

RocketWay

Hi zaehlpixel,

Thank you for your purchase.
What you see is the Themebuilder layout, all our designs are full width.

Our item description says:

- Features

A link to our ThemeBuilder
Export to desktop
Change background image / patterns
Drag & Drop modules
Duplicate or hide modules
Unlimited Structures and Colours
Full Width Design
Clean Commented Code
PSD Photoshop File included
Documentation

We’re working on a save function, for now you can use an email platform were you can save your work like MailChimp for example.

Cheers,
RocketWay

Hi! I love the cleam look of your template and thinking about purchasing it for creating my newsletters. I have some questions I hope you can answer me upfront.
  • Can I choose my own font ‘courier new’? It’s not in the live demo, but this is the font I use for my company.
  • Do I have to store the pictures somewhere in order to paste them into the newsletter? I see I have to give an URL, can’t I upload images? Maybe after I uploaded the template in Mailchimp (can I edit the template there?).
  • What’s the max width of the template? So it would be best for all email clients and devices?

Thanks for your time :)

RocketWay

Hi lovelingsnl,

Thank you for your interest.
- Yes this is possible but you need to change the Proxima Nova font with your custom font in the HTML code.
- You can store the images on your FTP server and enter this URL to change the images in our Themebuilder. If you don’t have a FTP server you can upload the images through the MailChimp system from your desktop.
- It’s a full width design and it’s compatible on all email clients although Outlook doesn’t support background images. In their system you’ll see a solid background colour.

Please email us to: support[at]rocketway.net if you have any further questions.

If you have a heading in the menu, how do you make it scroll down to where you want when you click on it?

RocketWay

Hi,

Thank you for your purchase. If you want to add anchors in an Email template you need to have some experience with HTML. Be aware that this isn’t supported by various email clients. Maybe this link will help you out: http://blog.mailermailer.com/tips-resources/anchor-tags-html-emails

I love the templates, however, I am a non-tech person… will it be easy enough to learn?

Hello,

I’m just about to purchase this theme but I have a couple of questions first.

-Is this compatible with Joomla ACYMailing?
-Is there a save function or would it be best to save it in Joomla?
-Is there a way to make it a boxed theme? I can edit the HTML if you provide instructions

Thank you!

RocketWay

Hi okayquitmadstop,

Thank you for your interest.
If Joomla ACYMailing support valid HTML then you should be save. At the moment there’s no save function in our Themebuilder.
If you send me your exported HTML file I will make it boxed as a one off.

Sebastian

Hey,

I have this weird problem. On Mailchimp the mail gets cropped at the bottom when it gets to phone version (Even when I toggle the view on a desktop). Like there is somehow a fixed height or something.

What should I do to fix this?

Thanks!

RocketWay

Hi xZAREx,

Thank you for purchasing Escape.
Are you able to send us your HTML file + some screenshots to: support[at]rocketway.net so we can dive into the code and help you fixing it.

Thank you for replying so fast!

I tested out some other newsletters I’m subscribed to and I see the same pattern. So I guess there’s no problem on your side. :)

Thank you again for getting back to me so fast!

Hi! I am totally new on this! can you explain me the process for editing the file? which file should I edit? there are m any files… Should I have photoshop?? Please advise! There is not answer for my question anywhere :( Thanks

RocketWay

Hi twicethestyle,

thank you for your purchase! In your download there’s a folder called ‘themebuilder’, it includes a link to the unlocked version of the themebuilder. In this themebuilder you are able to changes text, images and the structure of your template. So basically you only have to make changes in the themebuilder, exported it to a desired html format and you are ready to send it out through an email platform like mailchimp…

If you have further questions please contact us at: support[at]rocketway.net

Hi, We’ve serious problems with the performance in outlook, but it works great in the rest of the mail clientes. Could you please help us?

RocketWay

Hi selenusmedia,

We just replied your email :)

This is what our item description says about Escape:
- Microsoft Outlook (doesn’t support background images). Escape uses background images in the 2 column boxes. In Outlook these 2 column boxes will auto hide the image and the box will stretch to full width (otherwise you’ll see a box with a solid background color).

Kind regards,
Sebastian

Gmail seems to be stripping the “background-size:cover” property for the background images.

Any advice around this?

RocketWay

Hi pixelgirl1111,

Thank you for your purchase.
We replied your email.

To answer the comment… Gmail does’t accept CSS for background images so the background image won’t stretch in their platform. To fix this, upload a large background image (2000px width for example). This is mentioned in our item description.

Cheers,
Sebastian

The email template does not show up full-width on any iPhone devices. I sent out the exact demo version in constant contact and this is how it displays on iphones:

http://i.imgur.com/w6q8KO9.png?1

It works fine on androids and gmail/desktop

RocketWay

Hi djoyrenner,

Thank you for your purchase.
This is a known issue with Constant Contact. The C.Contact logo in the bottom of the page is the reason for this as it disables scaling on mobile devices. If you send a support mail to Constant Contact they will fix this issue (they supported other RW customers before), unfortunately we aren’t able to fix this from here as it’s on C.Contacts platform. We hope they will update this soon as you aren’t the first customer who has this issue.

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hey there, I purchased this great template unfortunately I can’t seem to get the background images to show up in outlook or gmail. Is there something that can be done?

RocketWay

Hi repukken,

Thank your for your purchase.
Outlook don’t support background images, this is mentioned in our item description. All background images should be showed up in Gmail, please email us to: support[at]rocketway.net with your HTML file so we can dive into the code whats causing the issue.

Hi.

Please, I will buy this template, but I have some questions:

1: What I get with the purchase? An html with images? How I can insert the purchased stuff on my email client like Outlook 2013?

2: Can I edit the html with a program like WYSIWYG Web Builder for change images and fonts without damage of responsive features?

Thanks,

Gustavo

RocketWay

Hi Gustavo,

Thank you for your comment.

1. In the download folder you’ll find an offline folder with inline CSS, you need to host images on a FTP server to send the email newsletter. You’ll also find a purchase link to the online Themebuilder. You can export the file from the Themebuilder and edit the HTML file in a WYSIWYG builder.
This link will explain you how to insert HTML into Outlook 2013. http://www.outlook-apps.com/insert-html-to-outlook-emails/

2. Yes you can use any web builder if it can handle valid HTML.

Please email us to: support[at]rocketway.net for any further questions.

Hey guys. The themebuilder is pretty nice but it’s almost impossible not to eventually click on a link when you are trying to edit it. That takes you to a new page and when you go back you have lost ALL of the customization work that you gave done. It’s a major flaw and you need to put something in place. Maybe just make all hyperlinks open in a new window by default which would mean if a link gets accidentally clicked when trying to edit it we don;t navigate away from the page. Adding a target=_blank won’t harm the email links so no loss right?

RocketWay

Hi likeacat,

I’m sorry to hear you’ve lost your work.
We’re working hard on huge update of the Themebuilder with a save function also. Please send us an email to: support[at]rocketway.net if you want on the mailing list about the release. You’ve free access as you’ve already purchased a template.
Let me know.
It’s not that simple to just add a target=”_blank” for all links because people can create their own link with each normal word in the Themebuilder.

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hi Rocketway, I am looking for a good looking and converting template which I want to use with Mailchimp. Escape looks really good. As Mailchimp automatically applies with the built in templates e.g. the header image to all communication emails (e.g. opt-in email) I wonder how this will happen if I use your template. Will I need to recreate each of the mails or is there some automation? Regards Zin

RocketWay

Hi Zin,

Thank you for your comment.
With our MC templates you can edit all content and images or hide the modules you don’t need in the MC builder. You can save your work in MailChimp and edit later or send the template, you don’t have to rebuild them each time. Please email us to: support[at]rocketwat.net for any further questions.

Kind regards,
Sebastian
