hey, seems like you got the left sidebar set to 9, the right set to 3 grid size, so the actual content is left with 0 go to etherna panel, single tab and change that left-sidebar to 0, or something lower.

not sure if I understand you right, but if you mean if it’s possible to have few rows of menu like that then it’s not possible, it just won’t stretch

locally as in local server? maybe you got rewrites turned off, go to wordpress admin settings=>permalinks and set to default, then try again

Hey, I’ll start working on it in January. My next theme – “Ascesa” that is coming next week is sporting full fledged 7-stage responsive system and will be kind of indication of how Etherna will behave after update. However, I am pondering if maybe I should re-write Etherna completly from the ground and release as new theme at reduced price, or maybe even free for those who bought the original-current one. The new one would reduce http requests, use gradients instead of gradient-images (allowing i.e for changes of colors not only for background, but also the main white block), new set of shortcodes including portfolio one (allowing for multiple sortable-type portfolios), new 3d-like slider and much more. The drawback would be dropped support for ie7 and ie8 not looking that hot, but well, those are 6 and almost 4 year old browsers so.. I guess I should do some kind of poll for this

yep, in etherna panel, advanced user options you can switch the custom markup mode and just do add the phone there

hmm it’s possible but you need to fiddle with the files a bit. It’s done completely through prettyphoto plugin js, so you need to edit /js/plugins.js to do that. Best go to the theme package that you got from themeforest, and in “non minified files for developers” folder you will find plugins.js file, which you need to edit at line 322 where the prettyPhoto call exists.

Then change the default call from .prettyPhoto(); (at the end) to whatever other settings you want there. All the options and stuff you can find at http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/documentation in the “customization” part.

don’t worry about asking questions there is no viable way to search through the comments so all authors should be ready for that hehe

and yes, there will be responsive improvements, check the comment just before

hmm wp 3.5 changes the media uploads so it’s possible that the upload logo and upload background from etherna admin panel got broken, thanks for reporting this, I’ll have it fixed. Rest of the theme should work fine.

seems you got it to work now? looks ok on my side atm. Anyways, you could upload the logo at i.e 550px wide and then in header.php add width=”275px” to the logo part, essentially forcing it to smaller size and making it “retina-ready”

you need to do some search for extension plugins to contact form 7, it’s very popular plugin so I’m sure there are calendar fields available for it too. Regarding adding fields – check the help again where I try to explain the contact form a bit, but ultimately head to http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/ for the full docs on that.

hmm you could prepare a page with that shortcode and then move it to trash – pages in trash remain hidden and you could re-enable them for up to 30days after trashing. Other than that, you could also change the date that the page was “posted” to a future one, so it will be hidden until that time

hmm apparently google is not working in iframe now, but the code should, i.e try http://www.iconfinder.com/?iframe=true&width=100%&height=100% only other option is to edit portfolio.php (or portfolio2.php if you’re using sortable version) and edit out the “allow gallery” part of it http://prntscr.com/og5ox , this way it should stop using lightbox upon click

edit: forgot that you might need one more thing – open up the folders that you got from themeforest, go to non-minified files for developers/js/plugins.js and at line 322 change the zoomer in .add(”.zoomer”) to .zoomer:not(.no_lightbox) then save and upload to your server to wordpress/wp-content/themes/Etherna_WP/js/ and last thing – in the place where you changed the allow_gallery there is also a class=”zoomer” add no_lightbox to it like this http://prntscr.com/og7bw

Tnx, I found another solution as well. By removing the ‘wpimgload’ the zoomer wil stop working as well. Not sure if it breaks other things?

check folder permissions on the server, try with permalinks set to default, disable all plugins and try again. 403 is quite generic one

just replace the old files with new via ftp, current version is 1.2, 1.3 will be out in 2-4 weeks and then 2.0 that adds responsivness later down this quarter

you need to set the grid first so it would be like

that would give you double sidebar on the right

That moved the sidebar to the right but now my pictures are cut off, and it looks like there is plenty of room…

ye, because the 2 sidebars that are there are just of size 3, populate the sidebar-02 to see the other one http://prntscr.com/orhij

you can play with the gs numbers, and make the sidebars bigger, just make sure that all row sum up to 12 (like above 6+3+3)
