I have uploaded two slides for the homepage, but they are not rotating. It just stays on the first one. When I look at the code, I can see the other slide, but I think the js is not rotating the slides.
What am I doing wrong?

You doing everything right! But you have an JS error on your site and some scripts didn’t run. In that case the slider, the search and some other scripts doesn’t work. You have to find what happens: please disable all the plugins you have and enable it one by one to find what cause the problem (also we have found that you have the jquery included 2 times) then inform us please. After the solving this JS conflict everything should be ok!
At now we also making a quick update with the improved JavaScript stability. It will be released very soon. You can check when it will be ready through the Maintenance tab.

Hi, We already investigating this error. You can disable that for now by commenting the europa->lib->widgets.php -> line #5 -> register_widget(‘Contact_Form_Widget’);

What’s new:

Is there anyway I can take the little caption box out in the gallery mode?
You can disable captions by adding to the Europa Settings -> CSSLab next code:

This is an slide example to help you understand how the slider would look. Just add your first slide to remove this image. To completely remove the slider please add to the Europa Settings -> CSSLab next code:

We believe that Europa doesn’t need the dropdown menus for now. Anyway, thank you for the suggestion! Could you clarify in what cases the dropdowns is really needed? Thank you.
I believe that drop downs are a great addition for those who may not want to use the second menu set or would like to have redundancy in their menus.
Drop downs are something that many internet users are familiar with and I believe that it would be an incredible added functionality to perhaps one of the best themes I have worked with yet!

i’m trying with xili-language, but i’m having some problems…
any idea? it’s a simple site with simple pages and simple portfolio pages, without posts, but i need it in 3 or 4 languages.

My site is not live yet but have been setting it up the past day’s locally and I”m very impressed with the quality and usability of this theme, it did take some time for me before i understood how to set it up correctly but once you get that it’s real easy to use.
I was hoping though for better video integration in the future, often I see that people think only vimeo and youtube exist in the world but I”m still waiting for a themeforest designer to provide a player that can play FLV or MP4 files that are located on my own server.
I have been asking for this functionality many times here but it seems no-one untill now has the knowledge to code this into their theme directly.
What would even be more awesome was if there would be a password field directly integrated into the lightbox player incase you wanted to password protect some video’s, I know this is possible because I have seen a Belgian webdesigner that had integrated that functionality into one of the themes that came from this site (including playing flv files)
But I guess it all comes down to that you get what you pay for, for the price it’s great but if you want to have advanced functionalities you need an experienced designer but they cost an arm and a leg to make this kind of change.

I am using Europa to set up an online resume. I’m trying to get it to look similar to the sample front page, with 3 columns under the header. I have created the page that has the 3 columns and set the homepage to call this page, but I would love to remove the page title. I’ve looked through the content.php and page.php, but I’m just not skilled enough to figure out how to remove the Page Title. ( I wouldn’t mind removing it on all pages.)
Any suggestions? Here’s a link to my page- I want to remove the ‘AREAS’.

While you edit pages in WordPress please open up the Alaja Settings: Page box -> Custom Headings -> check the “Disable the headings…”
That worked perfectly and so simple I can’t believe I didn’t see it. Thank you so much for the quick response and the SWEET theme.

Loved and bought the HTML , love and bought this WP version. Can’t wait to get this going for my client, who loved my customized version of Europa for their site.
Please make more, and soon, and make them as good as this.
I’m with a few of the other guys, I would love a dropdown menu option as well. I may have my coder do it and then I’ll share it with you. I also used cu3er for the 940×340 space in the HTML , I’m going to do the same in the WP version.
It’s the least I can do, this Europa layout has secured a very well paying client for me and my team.

Hi! Thanks for this template. We would like to know if it possible to create categories for portfolio items, and how to do that? We created categories in ‘works’ admin menu, but don’t know how to apply it.

Great theme btw, this is by far one of the best out there right now for portfolios.
I’m a little confused on how to setup the “Main Menu”. Every time I add an item, it appears just as static text, and cannot add links under what that static text would be. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious.
Nevermind. I found the answer to my problem.
This is my first time working with WP3 and wasn’t familiar with the admin area for it. Apparently you just drag and drop to make 2nd-level items. Pssh. Why did you have to make it so easy Wordpress?
