I made lots of custom changes (mainly css) to this theme (originally Evermore 1.2). Many features stopped working after upgrading WordPress to 3.9. This included the theme Options panels and tabs.
Simply download the latest version of Evermore (1.5) and overwrite via FTP all theme folders including: css, evanto library, functions, images, includes, js, lang and lib. I kept my customised php and css files.
Everything sound then work fine. Hope this helps someone.
Thank you very much for sharing this info – it’s much appreciated! Good to hear that everything is working well now!
For anyone interested – we have also created an article about the WordPress 3.9 and Evermore 1.5 updates.
Just a small correction – the latest version of Evermore is 1.2 (not 1.5).
Where I can download Evermore 1.5??
You can always download the latest version of the theme from the Downloads section of your ThemeForest profile, you can also read more about how to update the theme in the “Updates” section of the documentation.
In my downloads I can find Evermore 1.2 version. In comments with gdroberts You are talking about Evermore version 1.5, so I’m wondering, where I can get it?
The latest version is 1.2 indeed – sorry, my bad.
FOR YOUR REFERENCE
The admin panel still loading while I updated to the last version!!
hi. i think we are on version 3.6 of wordpress. if we update to 3.9 will the site brake in any way form new site updates that have been made?
It is recommended to update the theme to the latest version (1.2.0), as this version is fully compatible with WordPress 3.9 ( in 1.2.0 of Evermore we have fixed some compatibility issues with WP 3.9, more info here).

got it. should we update the theme first or the wordpress version, or does it matter what order?
As you are using a very old version of WordPress, I think that it would be better to first update WordPress and then update the theme. Just before updating anything, please make sure to first insert your Envato API settings in the Evermore Options -> Updates section.

1. Due to a bad experience with timthumbs I would like to know is there a way for me to manually resize images and avoid using timthumbs?
2. What is the difference in the "quick gallery" and the others? can I still create separate categories in the "quick gallery"
3. Can images be opened in their own page instead of the lightbox?
Here are my answers:
1. Most of the sections (such as the main portfolio gallery page and the sliders) support an option to disable the image cropping and upload your custom thumbnails. If you are interested in a specific section, feel free to ask.
2. Quick Gallery is the default WordPress gallery – it is simple and easy/quick to create, it supports a bulk image upload and a lightbox preview only. The theme’s portfolio gallery is an advanced gallery that supports various functionality, such as category filter, pagination, different preview options, etc. I’m not sure if I understand exactly what you mean by “separate categories” but generally the theme’s portfolio gallery supports setting categories to the items, the quick gallery doesn’t.
3. You can accomplish this with the theme’s portfolio gallery – you can see an example on the Mixed Items gallery page, just click on the “Standard Page” item (5th item).
I’ve updated to the Evermore 1.2 and I still cannot access the Evermore options or the Add media feature in posts. I’ve also disabled or uninstalled all plugins to rule out one of them as a problem. No luck. Suggestions?

P.S. Can you please also clear your browser cache – it’s very likely that the old theme files are saved in the cache.
Is Evermore multi-site compatible?
I have tested the main theme functionality on a multisite installation and it was working well. In the unlikely case if you experience any problems, we can also help on our support site.

Hi there, I’m looking to add woo commerce to a theme (hopefully this one because I love the design) but what I will be selling will be designs. I will need to have a password protected gallery area where the designs are not searchable or downloadable and cannot be viewed outside of the password protected area. Will this these be able to accommodate that? Kind regards
You can create a password protected Quick Gallery with the theme, however the password protection will work for that page only and WordPress by default creates single pages for each media item (like images) that you upload to the installation, so you would need to apply some additional protection to these pages as well – you can do this by setting your server to restrict access to those pages or you may also search for a plugin that can automatically implement this on your installation.
Hi, Are you planning on another update for this theme? I am thinking about purchasing it and want to be sure there will be more updates. Thank you!
Yes, we will continue supporting this theme – we always make sure that our themes are fully functional and compatible with the latest version of WordPress.
The bunbled version of Rev Slider is vulnerable to a very serious exploit:
Can you update the theme with an updated version of rev slider?
Otherwise everyone who installed is vulnerable.
Or other ideas…
This theme doesn’t include the Revolution Slider – the main content slider is built by us and it doesn’t include the Revolution Slider code, so this theme is not affected by the vulnerability.
Sincere apologies, you are right, I was look at the wrong name in the list of themes. Apologies again. Thanks,
Is the current version of Evermore compatible with Wordpress 4.0?
Yes, Evermore is compatible with WordPress 4.0.
Hi Pexeto! Just purchased your theme, and have run into a small issue. The editor for pages is missing all of the custom buttons for Evermore. I have v. 1.2 of your theme, and WP 4.0. Am I missing something specific to update the editor buttons, or is there some other problem? Thanks in advance!
P.S. Please make sure that the editor’s “Toolbar Toggle” button is active (it should be one of the last buttons on the first row of buttons).
Hi, the header social media icons is missing Instagram, how would i add this?
Thank you for the suggestion, I have added this to my update list. Meanwhile you can check this article to read how you can upload a custom icon.
and here the same? any showcase? interested in this theme with album
Unfortunately at this point we don’t have a public showcase page of the theme, I’m sorry.
ah bad… ok, also fixed background possible and can user click hearts, if they like the picture?
The backgrounds are by default set as patterns and there isn’t an option to set a fixed background but it can be accomplished with a minor CSS tweak. As for the second question – if you are asking about whether there is a “Like” functionality for the images included – unfortunately the theme doesn’t include an out of the box option for that.
Hello, After making home page with “Portfolio” template and then adding a portfolio we just get loading gif and no slider. Any ideas? Thanks.
I can see that you have opened a ticket on our support site and one of our support members has posted a reply, so please feel free to continue the discussion in your ticket section.
All sorted now thanks!
Hi Again, How do you have no Sidebar on a blog page? No matter what one I chose it’s always the same default one. Even in full width there is a sidebar. How can we change it or remove it from blog page? Thanks.
Would you mind opening a ticket on our support site, as this is where all of the Pexeto themes support is handled. Thank you!
P.S. Meanwhile please also make sure that your blog page is not selected as Posts Page in the Settings -> Reading section.
Hi There, one of my team members updated the site to Wordpress 4.3 before updating the theme, Can I still update the theme. Thanks
Yes, you can still update the theme.
I have a pre purchase question. I notice the format of the images in the blog are all very wide. I want to be able to post images that are 3×2 format. Is this possible with the theme? Also is it possible to have the featured image be the full width of the page and then have the article and sidebar below use the normal 2/3, 1/3 widths? thanks
There is an option to change the height of the displayed blog image, so you can easily change the default image ratio, however the blog images are always displayed to the full-width of their container, so basically the height is only adjustable. As for the second question – I’m afraid that the theme doesn’t include an out of the box option for this. If you want you can check our Story theme that has a similar layout to the one that you need – it has the post featured image as full-width header and then the content is displayed in a standard layout below – you can see an example here.
Hello. Yes I do like the Story theme that you have. I have a couple
questions though. can the menu bar be placed above the featured image
instead of on top of the image?. Also on the blog feed can I set it up so the latest
blog post has the full width image, then the contents and all older blog
posts are displayed as standard. I can see this works on an individual
post, but Im also interested in the feed doing the same thing. If it can
then I will likely buy this theme. If it just requires a bit of tweaking
then I will likely still buy it.
Thanks very much for your time
Basically there isn’t an option to move the menu bar above the featured image, but there is an option to add an overlay background to the menu bar, so it is more distinct – you can see an example here (bottom of the page). As for the second question – I’m afraid there isn’t an out of the box option for that either, basically the blog page provides an option to set a background image to the header (you can see an example here), but you would have to always manually set the image when you create a new post. Alternatively if you have some WP coding experience, you can overwrite the blog page template to automatically set the last post featured image as a header image. Also you would have to hide the featured image from the post section, but this can be relatively easy to accomplish with CSS.
Ok thanks for the feedback. I do have some CSS experience, but I also have a Croatian guy who does theme tweaks I need done.
One last question. is there a Lightbox feature included or an external Lightbox plugin you recommend?
Getting credit card out now
The theme includes a lightbox element in a few different ways – you can have a lightbox preview in the Quick Gallery, in the Portfolio Gallery and you can also have a single image with a lightbox preview – you can see an example here (“Single Lightbox Image” section).
