I Have buy your Template Evermore and now I have seen that you use TimThumb. TimThumb is not allowed to use on Themeforest so I will ask you to delete this Plugin from the Evermore Template. I can´t use Evermore if this Plugin is installed there.
At this point Timthumb is allowed within the themes, it will not be allowed for newly released themes after September 2013, the already existing themes will have longer period to adapt to the new rules. Also, all of the sections of the theme that use Timthumb provide an option not to use it, so you can disable Timthumb and crop your images manually if you want. Anyway, we will replace Timthumb with another resizing plugin as soon as these rules are applied for the existing themes.

Great work with Theme, but I’ve found one problem, which I can’t fix anyhow – Blog Posts pagination.
I’m using Static Blog Page as a main page of the site with number of post per page 10- the same as in the Reading settings, and still pagination shows only the first 10 posts, even after choosing nexy pages.
This occurs with WP-Pagination plugin enabled and disabled. I’m using Evermore 1.04.
P.S. If you are using the Blog Page template (and the page is not set as a Posts Page in Settings -> Reading), you can set the number of posts per page in the settings section of the page, below the content editor of the page.
Would you guys consider adding a sidebar widget for testimonials?
That would really help a lot of people. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. Just adjusting the formatting from the blog testimonials or quotes.
Otherwise I love this theme. It is very well built.
First of all – I’m glad you like the theme
There are many different testimonials plugins available that you can use – I just checked the Testimonial Rotator plugin and it was working well, even its style matches to theme’s style.

P.S. You are the first user to report this kind of problem, so when posting can you please also add a link to your site so we can have a look? Thanks
I’ve been using the theme for a couple months now and it’s been great, haven’t had any problems.
My question is a design one and I know i might not be able to do it.
I would like to move the entire page up to the very top so that there is no gap where the background comes through at the very top.
I imagine this would be possible be adjust some of the code, I’m just nervous to change the wrong thing.

Is most of this related to the skin/color options gallery on the demo? Or is it something I will need to fix when I buy the theme? I am not much of a programmer, and this will be a lot of work for me.
I’ll appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!
Yes, the style switcher (that is included on the demo only) decreases the load time significantly – it loads additional images, scripts and styles. Regarding the render-blocking message – in Evermore that can be fixed just by setting the $in_footer parameter that loads the script to true – it is just a minor code modification. Other than this, gzip compression and caching can be applied to your server settings and also you can improve it even further by using a caching plugin that can minify all of the scripts and styles and bundle them into a single file.
Thank you so much for the quick response, and for the tips! This helps so much!
I upgraded from your Dandelion theme yesterday and I have to say you did a great job with Evermore. The theme is easy to customize and works great!
Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for your kind words – it’s much appreciated! I’m very happy to hear this!
I’ve purchased and installed Evermore over a month ago now.
The site is up and running and performs well.
Unfortunately i haven’t been able to pop up in any search result within Google. Not even when searching for: site:www.jacquelinevanseters.nl.
I have also used the webmaster tool to introduce the site to Google.
Do you have any idea what’s going wrong?
Do you have any tips to increase my findability?
I’d like to hear from you guys.
Thanks in advance,
P.S. Please keep in mind that your site textual content is the most important for SEO and I can see that your site doesn’t include too much textual content, additionally it takes more time to get better search results. Other than this, we have followed SEO best practices when creating the theme and all of the theme generated content is indexable by search engines.
I love your theme Evermore and I’m an old timer dandalion as well…you guys are awesome and great work…
I’ve a little question here, how would I change the transition for the content slider… I’m ready to get messy with the js code but your hints with its location will be really appreciation (path and line number)... god bless you guys!
P.S. The content slider code is located in the js/content-slider.js file, the default show and hide effects are set on lines 61 and 67.
You made evermore buyer.
Giving priority to create such a beautiful theme, thank you.

I’m not sure if I understand you correctly, could you please clarify what you are asking about or try to explain it in a different way?
Otherwise, if you need a copy of the theme for your personal use, you can always download it from the “Downloads” section of your ThemeForest profile.
Hi . . . I purchased the Evermore theme some weeks ago and now need to ask a support question. I’ve gone to your support page and want to register, but the description of how to find the license number for my copy doesn’t seem to make sense. I go to the Themeforest page, sign in and find the Evermore item OK, but it’s not showing me the “downloads” tab that your instructions refer to. No brown “download” button, and no drop-down that I can find that would let me download the license certificate. Am I missing something? Thanks . . . Dave
From your next comment I can see that you have found your purchase code, glad you’ve figured it out
Ack! Just found it under my Themeforest profile. I knew that would happen! Never mind! . . . Dave
Portfolio post Resizing the post-layout sidebar possible?
How can I be afraid?
Just wondering if there is a way to insert a custom sidebar into a page template.
I have a sidebar called ‘News’ and I’ve tried inserting ‘get_sidebar( ‘news’ )’ into my homepage template but it shows a search bar and sitemap!!
Does this theme works with wp ecommece or woo commerce ?
Does it feet and work properly ?
I have posted a reply to your support ticket, so you can check it on our support site.
I love your theme, beautiful layout and very nice Ajax effects.
I can see that it’s responsive and will fit the browser window with as many columns as possible (which is great, especially for mobile!), but my point is that I don’t want to use thumbnails – I want to see the full size images one after another..
So I guess what I’m asking is – can I control the image size…?
I believe that if I will post the bigger images (something like 940px wide) without making a smaller thumbnails for them – it will “force” a one-column layout on the desktop too, just like it is shown on mobile..
Please clarify that for me…
Another thing that bothers me is the lack of all the bottom blocks from any gallery layout other than the slider:
1. The navigation between prev/next projects (and back to the projects archive)
2. The project’s description, along with the social sharing buttons
3. The “related projects”..
All as seen on this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/lN1Nq07Y2d
Is this a real issue or just some configuration options that can be turned on for all types of galleries?
Just realized that the “quick gallery” doesn’t have the same ajax effect as the slider-galleries… maybe it is not count as a “project” at all? that’s too bad…
Any plans on moving soon from timthumb to Wordpress’s built-in resize functions?
The quick gallery is the default WordPress gallery which is a standard image preview gallery and if you need more advanced functionality, you have to use the theme’s Portfolio Gallery page template, that supports all the AJAX functionality, such as category filter, different preview options, navigation between projects, etc. Regarding the quick gallery column options – yes, you can set a one-column layout to this gallery. Regarding timthumb – we are currently considering this, it will be most likely replaced in the future.
I hope this answers your questions.
In that case, I don’t want to use the quick gallery.. I want to use the theme’s Portfolio pages.
Only problem is that I don’t want to use any slider, I want to have a “vertical gallery” – just all the images one after another.. very simple yet effective design.
You can see an example of what I mean on this page: http://theyoungrens.com/portfolio/jeff-kelsey-wedding
Is it possible to do with your theme, as a “Portfolio” page?
If not, will you consider adding this simple layout? Do you have any other theme that does have this portfolio layout?
So, if you don’t need the slider preview but just would like to display the images, you may just use the Quick Gallery with a one-column layout or alternatively you can just use a standard page template and directly insert the images into the content, one after another.
As for the portfolio page template – it doesn’t support this layout by default, so it would require some code modifications in order to accomplish this.
