Pre-sale question:
On the single post blog pages I notice you are using 590px × 350px for the featured image. Is it possible to display (without lightbox) the feature image so that the width is still 590px but the height is proportionally resized without cropping to allow an open height? Basically what I mean is no matter what size image I have for each featured image its width on the single post page would become the 590 you are using but the height just change proportionately.

Yes, there is an option to set the default image height of the blog post featured image and if you leave this field empty, the images will be resized according to their default ratios.
