Managed to sort it out mate, turned out to be a permissions issue!
I do have on other question though. I using the recent_post shortcode to display them on the homepage however I want to drop off the Post title and display the manual excerpt not the wp generated excerpt. Which template file would I need to edit? Thanks. Great theme btw.

I cant choose the type of slider or category of slader anymore after checking the Slider option in the dropdown menu at a page.
Does the following message have anything to do with it? How can I solve the problem? Thanks
I have an Explode message : Explode Theme Message : The cache folder (theme dir + /includes/cache) is not writeable. Please set the directory chmod to 755 otherwise all images might not display correctly. If you don’t know how to set that, you should read Support section of the documentation. You can ignore this message if you have already changed it to 755 or higher.
Did you created any category and slider on slider post type? I think you didn’t
The theme uses timthumb image cropping script. Which allows you to show images proper size. Also this is requires folder permission. Please provide there (includes/cache) permission.

I did create catergories and sliders. I can turn the slider on but I can’t change the category or sort of slider. It just shows the Jcycle.
Ive used this theme on anoter website wich still shows the Nivo Fullwith but cant change this anymore. I can select slideshow on the PAGE but then I get no options.
I can’t find a cache file in the includes map.
