Hi!

Do you guys have the demo content available? I would very much like to build the page based on the demo.

Regards & thanks, Alvilde

Found it, cheers! ;)

Cool, enjoy!

Hello, the slider doesn’t seem to work? I’ve basically replaced the image from 1 slide from the demo content and now it’s just blank? www.rockhavenpictures.com

Uploaded a new/compressed image and still no luck.

I give up.

So, going off your message you’ve not got it working, now it’s just the January 1970 part you’re struggling with?

Go to Appearance > Customize > Modules.

Either setup and add your Twitter, or make sure all the fields are empty and save, that will disable it.

Where do we go for support? There are gaps between the documentation and the theme which I can’t work out. The only place they seem to offer support at is http://lovethem.es however you need a login and there is no ability to create one! Grrr. Frustrating.

LoveThemes

Support is here in the item comments. If you import the sample.xml file included with the theme it will set it up like the demo so you can see how everything works.

Thank you. Ok, I’ll take that route.

LoveThemes

No worries.

Hey I just got this theme, it looks great :). I can’t find the comprehensive documentation you mentioned in the features list though. Would you mind pointing me to it?

Default-user

I actually just found it in the download, I’m looking more for a little explanation on how to use it better though, so far I have just been editing off of your demo version.

LoveThemes

Well after importing the sample.xml file that pretty much shows you how it’s done, that coupled with the Docs explains it.

You can also checkout our Workless Framework which we build our themes around for a few other abilities: http://workless.ikreativ.com

The structure of this theme is very messy. I am having a hard time with sidebars overlapping words and sidebar plugins not working. I need help in fixing this.

LoveThemes

Thats not a theme issue.

We can’t test every single plugin.

The theme is set to style the built-in sidebars.

The proper way to do it would be to register your sidebars in fn.widgets.php and then include them wherever you want them, using if/else statements if needed.

I’ve upgraded to WP4.0. I also changed the slider images to newly uploaded ones. They are jpg 1920×1300. However now the images do not keep scale proportion and they stretch when the browser window resizes. This is obviously a major problem! Has something changed?

LoveThemes

Is the parent element relative? You could just do right: -250px;

ah yes, that’s why. The -250px is a good idea, easier. Thanks!

LoveThemes

No worries!

I’ve purchased and used several WP templates, and this is perhaps the most difficult of them. There is very little documentation, almost no shortcodes that I can directly see in the editor, and little to no control over things like the slider. I wanted to change the icons, but there is no documentation on how to do that. I figured it out, but not without some luck to assist me. The slider appears fine in my PC, but for some reason does not show up on my mobile.

This theme is not mature and needs some additional effort by the developer.

LoveThemes

Glad you sorted the issues, but I’ll run through them anyway:

1) Name your menu Primary as outlined in the Docs.

2) It shouldn’t leave a large space. If you see the slider in the demo try closing the demo bar, the iframe will be forcing the site into scaled mode rather than responsive. If you like it like that, open header.php and remove the viewport meta tag at the top. This will force a scaled version to be served to mobile devices rather than responsive.

3) Favicons really aren’t theme specific, they should be dropped in the root directory. I can however add an uploader in the next update.

If the Twitter feed isn’t disabling via the Options then it must be a bug, I’ll check it out and push a fix.

Thanks for your help. That fixed most of the issues I was having.

No problem.

Hello, I got the theme working fine, and it looks good, but I’m not seeing any main images (wood floor) when I look on my iPhone. There is just kind of a space at the top where the images should be. Is there a way to correct this or am I missing something?

Thanks!

LoveThemes

You’re welcome.

Hi – I’m also wondering if you ever found a fix for the twitter/1970 thing?

LoveThemes

Not had chance to look yet. But I know that its something to do with the if/else statement in the footer.

If you’re not using the twitter module, for now you can simply comment out that section to stop the bug.

From Appearance > Editor, select footer.php, look for the <!- tweets -> section and comment it out.

I’ll work on a proper fix soon.
