Hi there, i have 2 specific questions…

1 – I put a custom background that is dark, now is there a way to remove the white drop shadow around the boxes/posts (on the ‘homepage’)? 2 – When I make a ‘link’ post the button/image next to the name of the post is broken… (like the music, video etc icon) I have no idea who to fix this, help please

Sorry. It has long been following your themes. Compares 2 Your topics and not much understand what the differences and MultiGrid ExtraGrid. Could you please describe the differences. Can I make a hat ExtraGrid same as in MultiGrid? Change the width of the caps? Can I make ExtraGrid transitions to the next post in Pressgrid? Thank you.

Hello, I’m having some issue with the twitter status, first when I paste the status url in the post:

http://twitter.com/user/status/number_of_status

in the post show the same Url not the tweet.

And also when sometimes show the tweet is a big empty space. I understand that space if you want to show some pic but in this tweet i don’t have image.

Hello,

Great theme. I have a few issues

1) Not all of my categories are showing up in the horizontal menu bar where the “show all” is etc 2) How can get the other menu in the top header to lie horizontal or even be in the same horizontal bar as the categories

I have upgraded to the new version and not all the categories are still not showing.

I also watched the video, but I am still not able to align the menu to be horizontal and inline with the category menu

Do you want to show all categories even some category posts doesn’t show yet?
Open up the functions.php file and remove “hide” classes from 405 and 415 lines.

What exactly your purpose sir? Where do you want to show your menu? If you explain me better, I’ll try to help you. And we need to change something for your need if it is necessary

Thanks that worked with the categories. I worked out a solution for the menu too. The only issue I am having now is that the wp gallery does not work when the post is in Modal mode. They do not pop up in lightbox mode? Any ideas…

I see. Modal window is a lightbox indeed. So is it really need to show lightbox image on modal again? It looks show lightbox over than lightbox. If we close first lightbox then it conflicted closing modal window too. Sorry I don’t suggest it to show there lightbox again.

We have prepared file download here. You need to replace this file into your theme directory. Please backup before doing this because this zip file contain style.css and also header.php, footer.php, functions.php also scripts.js If you did earlier on your website in write some custom then it’s override your done.

Please be careful and enjoy header fixed (Admin option added Set fixed TOP option you need to enable this after replace theme file)

What is the problem of mobile menu? Please find styles includes with main-menu-mobile from “css/responsive.css” and “style.css” files.

I’ve just installed your ExtraGrid theme and cannot get the “Theme Options,” “Theme SEO,” or “Theme Elements” options to work in the admin panel. When I select them I see all the options on the left from “General Settings” down to “Social Options” but the center frame is a blank white box. Any idea what I can do to get the options working?

Hi, I have specific sized image (eg. 300×300 px) that can be resized by your theme on home page which is fine, but I do not want the image to be enlarge on Modal. How do I turn off image resize for modal and its blog page, so that the LiveFyre widget on the right side can work properly.

There have a footer area and top (header) widget area. Also you can select standard page with sidebar on front of your site
It is a very simple. You should watch guide videos for usage then you’ll see how it is easy

You should go to “Footer Options” tab of “Theme Options” panel then remove values of Footer text fields.

If you remove it entirely, you should remove 23-30 lines called sub-footer from footer.php file.

Just 2 Questions

I see you can like post with the small heart. looks like a build in system. can the grid then be adjusted category based with most likes posts, less likes and by date etc ?

and advertising places

can we add easy html above the gris to have banners etc there ? or place image or text which links direct to advertiser ? instead to image or other content

Blog page has an ordering option. It orders by date, title and random etc. I think we can extend it with Most liked
Video post format has textarea field. It prints everything on top of posts. You can use this for your ads. Also simple post has an option for custom links. If you add there any custom url, you can jump those links

I have one other problem. I am using a child theme since I had made some changes to the css before I upgraded to wp3.5 and extragrid1.4. All the upgrade process worked O.K. and the changes I have made to the css are working through the child theme but now I cannot make changes with the main theme options control panel. I get an error message when I try to save any changes. If I go back to the extragrid theme the control panel works fine and I can make changes but when I load the child theme again the changes revert back to defaults. All I have in the child theme is a style.css file with my changes.

Did you updated child theme theme?
I updated main theme which exports custom styles to child theme directory. Now it think it is missing “css/styles.php” file from child path. Saving custom changes in child directory is helpful to save your custom styles for every main theme updates.
