How can I change the title tag so it is compatible with the SEO-plugin from yoast?

Hi JoeBerlin,

Thanks for purchasing my theme! I really appreciate it!

The latest version of the theme has an updated title tag for WordPress 4.4 and Yoast. It now uses the new way of handling the title tag. What version of the theme are you using? What issues are you seeing with Yoast?

Hi Themewich team

I bought the theme ExtraNews Twice – Aug 2014 and Nov 2015. I would like to make these 2 websites to look more similar, but now I forget how to modify the theme and I have no idea why I can no longer browse the support forum to see the solutions that I asked long time a go.

Hi Radius,

We switched to a new support system, but you can still access your old topics if you like. You can find them by first logging into Themewich here:

https://themewich.com/theme-support/

Then scroll to the bottom of the page and you’ll see on the sidebar at the bottom there’s a button that will take you to the old support archives.

If you have any questions, you can always ask me too! I’m happy to help.

Let me know if you need any additional assistance.

This is what i was looking for!

Thanks Andre

how to remove Default Share?

Hi Rzxbr,

Thanks for purchasing my theme! I really appreciate it!

Thanks for letting me know. This is with the one-column layout for posts when the are loaded on the homepage, correct? I think that “by” was accidentally put in there. I’ll have to update the theme to fix this. Let me know if this was the correct spot.

To remove the default share, you can first disable it for all new posts by navigating to Theme Options > Posts and turn the “Default Share Style” to “None”. All new posts will not have the share style enabled.

To remove the sharing style from existing posts, you can either edit the individual posts and change the sharing style to “none” on the edit post screen, or you can add some custom css to hide it if you have a lot of posts. To do that, add this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Customize:

.share, .minimalsharewrapper {
display: none;
}

Update notification sent today, still no download?

Seriously guys, this is wasted time…

Whoops, I think thats my mistake. Somehow the version didn’t get updated. I’ll look into it. It should be the latest version with the updated socialfans counter plugin and page title updates. Let me know if you’re not seeing that when you download and update.

Hi Guys, i need work with a new AdServer that the code is in html5. Where i need to put the script from the AdServer to load the Interstitial Player in the home page and the intext player in all the other links? Thanks for your help

Hi Jotap06,

Thanks for purchasing my theme! I really appreciate it!

Customizations and integration with third party plugins are not covered under support for the theme. You’d need to seek the help of a developer for customizations and integrations.

Hi,

I have a question about the menu and posting. I’m trying to build different menu categories in the top menu bar. I can create those categories just fine, but then I want certain posts that fall under those categories/topics to be placed on that page. I cannot seem to accomplish this. All I can do is add that post under a category in the latest post widget.

Can you advise? Thank you

Hi Jkondik,

Thanks for purchasing my theme! I really appreciate it!

WordPress actually automatically creates individual category pages. Any posts you have with that category automatically appear on those pages. Then you can add those automatically generated category pages to your menu:

Hello, first of all – great theme – I love it. So far everything was fine. Right after the latest version of the them came out I haven’t been able to translate even a single string :(((( can you tell me what is the problem? I am using Loco Translator which so far was absolutely flawless…

Hi Stef,

I’d be happy to help, however, it looks like your support has expired. You’ll need to renew your support to continue to receive help.

Thanks!

Heh Andre,

great logic my friend – it was working and after your update it stopped. May be with the next update you should change compatibility with more plugins so we all have to pay this so needed “support” :) I’d rather switch to Avada and get serious. Thanks for the tip with the renewal and the help mate. Good luck

Hi Stef,

So sorry for your frustration. Unfortunately, I don’t have any control over support expiration/timelines. This is something Envato instituted for ALL authors (even the Avada author). I’m only trying to play by the rules.

I don’t have any other reports of translation issues for this theme – typically we try to fix all bugs as quickly as possible. After your comment I tested translation again with the latest version and it’s working fine on my end. This leads me to believe it’s an issue with your specific setup. I’m happy to help you troubleshoot, but I can’t provide support until it’s renewed. Again, this isn’t my decision, but a rule instituted by Envato. I hope you understand.

Andre
