I just have one question before I purchase this theme..
Does this support WooCommerce plug-in??
Please let me know..
Every theme technically “supports” WooCommerce. But the theme itself does not add any styles to make WooCommerce match the design of the theme (if it did it would actually be about $10 more expensive because it’s a lot of work).
If you encounter any issues here is the guide on their site – http://docs.woothemes.com/document/third-party-custom-theme-compatibility/ – it explains how to create your woocommerce.php file.
My other theme “Total” does include full WooCommerce support and is shown in the live demo.
I am looking for a masonry theme and like this one a lot but I am curious if there is a way for me to make the image tiles link to separate urls rather that a post?
Humm… To be honest I am not understanding. If you want to just have a grid that links to various URLs why would you use WordPress?
We love this theme! It is perfect for our blog: super easy to use and customize and just looks great.
We started to notice that our masonry layout on the home page is no longer tiling evenly. We have our homepage set to display in 3 columns but the tiling is now off. Some rows will have three posts, some will have two and some will just have a single post.
Can you take a look and let us know what we could do to fix the issue? If all our featured images and descriptions were the same height that would do it but we’re hoping there’s an easier fix.
I was looking at the code for the live preview versus our live blog, and noticed that the articles on the home page of the live preview had element styles w/ absolute positions that changed relative to the browser window size. On our blog we are missing those element styles. Not sure if that helps at all but it was the main difference I noticed (there were a couple other console errors but they didn’t look related to the theme or layout).
Thanks in advance for any help!
I have a question regarding adding a search form to the theme’s header. I’ve copied searchform.php into my child theme folder and I’m calling get_search_form(); but the search form doesn’t display. However, if I copy the contents of searchform.php directly into the header.php file in my child theme, the search form displays fine. Any ideas what the issue could be here?
Thanks for the great theme and the great support.
You don’t need to copy searchform.php to your child theme you only need to copy header.php file to the child theme then place the function where you want the search to be added – Example: http://cl.ly/image/0v2a2n2O1M1C (works I tested) – then add some custom CSS to your site to style it accordingly.
Hello. I love your theme, great job. I have an issue though, I have found a lightbox plugin that I really like and I use it with your theme. But whenever I have a gallery of images in a post, it seems the Fabulous theme automatically loads a (slider/lightbox/flexbox?) type of thing on its own. When I close my new lightbox, the Fabulous slider/lightbox thing is still in the background. How can I disable that? I have “Enable Lightbox for this Gallery” unchecked. Thank you.
You would have to disable the default gallery output of the theme.
ps: Support is for verified buyers only. Please purchase the theme if you want support, thanks!
I really like your theme, I think it is one of the best masonry-styled themes here!
Before purchasing, I have few questions:
- could the main page (the 4 column grid option) be customized to include a simple picture and not a picture leading to a blog post. I am a photographer with some IT background and I would like to achieve a tumblr-like effect with infinite scroll and photos loaded on the first page of my site right away Clicking the picture should lead to the bigger size version of the pic, but that would be handled by a lightbox implementation I suppose. So the first page will consist mostly of photos.
- could the main background be changed to a solid color, let’s say black? I checked your customization page but could not find such styling setting there.
Thanks and regards,
Glad you like it
Actually there is a built-in setting to set the homepage to use lightbox instead of clicking to the post – http://cl.ly/image/000q3q3V2G2i – if you click on “customize” in the live demo you should be able to see and test the various theme options.
Yes you can change the main background color. I actually disabled the background settings from the live demo because I didn’t want people trying to upload images to my server (the background setting also allows for a custom background image) > http://cl.ly/image/1p0x0o1g2o01
I just installed this theme and I can’t figure out how to translate e.g. “Published:” / “Categories:”?
The best way is to use the included .po/.mo files. But if you want to do it manually using a child theme these are located at inc/post-meta.php. This function can be copied and added to your child theme’s functions.php file for modification.
yes we just bought this template. the header nav wont stick like its shown in the demo. in the custom theme settings/header and thers an option to fix navigation on scroll. ive selected this option but the nav still wont fix to the top.
i figured it out
how can i remove the ”
Published & Categories” tabs from the posts on the homepage?
Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings > General > Entry Meta
I have some questions – I’m interested in using this theme for an artist client.
Can we use something like a responsive thumbnail slider below the main image on a post? Is that part of the theme or do we need to use a plugin?
Also, can we use multiple images in a single post?
Is there any way we can change the width of the sidebar?

I have some questions – I’m interested in using the Fabulous theme for an artist client.
Responded to your latest comment.
1. There is a built-in slider but it doesn’t have thumbnails – http://wpexplorer-demos.com/fabulous/city-landscape-photography/.
If you want a thumbnail style you may be interested in my spartan theme instead – http://wpexplorer-demos.com/spartan/formula-1-is-boring/
2. You can add as many images as you want to a post.
3. The sidebar width would be adjusted via custom CSS, but it’s quite simple. I can assist with this if needed.
i’ve got a few questions before buying, 1. the infinite loading always works? 2. is it possible to have different images in the top of a blog post and the grid thumbnail image?
1. What do you mean if it always works? Please test the live demo if you have any doubts.
2. You can use the WordPress gallery function to easily insert a thumbnail grid into a post like this example – http://wpexplorer-demos.com/fabulous/getting-lost-in-europe/
Hi I’m trying to create all my pages as blogs. I’ve managed to create the menu structure as 4 Categories. After I’ve done this all the Blogs from every category appear on the Home page. Is there any way to only have ‘Home’ blogs on the homepage?
There are plugins out there that will allow you to limit the homepage to a specific category or if you are a developer you can use the pre_get_posts filter in WordPress to alter the main query via a child theme.
Thank you. Great theme!
ps: If you haven’t yet can you please go to your ThemeForest “downloads” and rate the theme? I would really appreciate that. Thank you!!
Great theme, I love it so far. I just recently purchased and I had a couple of questions that I couldn’t find answers to in the documentation. I hope you can help.
1. Is there a way to make “Quote” posts unclickable from the homepage? In other words, I want the Quote to display on the home page, but not allow someone to click on it. I hope that makes sense.
2. How do I change the color of the social media widget?
I look forward to your answers on this. Great work on the theme.
