Hi. Please register an app for your website, and its settings you will generate an App ID and Secret key, which you will have to insert in theme settings -> Social.

Hi. Well, for spam there is the akismet plugin. For user uploads you may want to install a compatible “antivrus” plugin that represents an utility for checking files and other activity on your website, also you can install some linux/windows (based on the server you have) utilities which will scan the uploaded files on the server.

Hi. Please unzip the file you downloaded from themeforest, enter the folder you unzipped, and there should be a few folders, one being named “facepress”. Zip this folder and install it via the Wordpress backend, or upload it (unzipped) through FTP in /wp-content/themes of your Wordpress installation.
i really like this theme but i was wondering if there was a way to further customize the user profiles as at the moment it doesn’t look like you can add much information to them?
I want to use this theme for my DJ hosting site so obviously the DJ’s profiles need to be detailed enough so they can create a nice profile.
Hi. The theme has basic options for user profile completion, like avatar, First name, Last name, email, Bio information (which appears in the author box). If you would like more fields to show information, you will have to add them (by custom work or a compatible plugin).
yes i have posted this in all 4 of your themes because i can’t decide between them because they are all exactly what im looking for (content sharing theme). im just wondering if one has a more custom profile page than the rest.
They all have standard fields for user profile, but Facepress and Metropress have user following feature.

How do we update the theme, with out loosing data within theme settings.
Theme settings are stored in the database, only theme files (php, css, and everything related in the “facepress” theme folder/subfolder) will be overwritten.
When I post the homepage link to my site in facebook it shows the facepress icon, how can I change this? I already copied over the icon found in theme index, however problem still is happening.
Please allow the facebook parser to index your page, or you can insert it in the facebook debugger, so it will grab the thumbnail.
Hi, I love this theme but there are some things i dont really like about it for example,when you take your mouse on the pictures in grid view on the first page,the image gets kinda shadowy and when you click on the picture,nothing happens unless you click on the title of the picture which will load the post’s page…i don’t like that much…I’d rather be able to click on the picture,and get a full large view of the picture …is that possible?! Hi. There is an option in theme settings -> Front-end submitting, where you can choose the default status for new posts: pending or published. For “Pending” option, there is also a field for email, to receive notifications for pending posts.

I can see that the posts can be filtered using categories that the users choose. Is there also a way to filter content based on the location of the user ? (along with the categories) or is there a way to allow users to choose a country while posting ?
Just so that it will be easier for users to find posts from their country.
And can a page be created to display all the users ?

Hi. The feature you want (location, country, all users page) is not present in the functionality provided by the theme. Thus, this could be added by custom implementation.

I have noticed that when i set the theme “grid-view with no sidebar” sometimes, it shows three columns , sometimes it shows four columns, why this is happening please

It may show 4 columns if it’s full width and “Fixed width” is disabled.

You can upload a image logo from theme settings -> Style, change the logo type to “Image logo”, and then press Choose file. From the same page you can upload a custom favicon.

Hi. The “likes” can not be changed, there is no interface for this purpose.
What do you mean by APP ? If a mobile one (Android, iOS), you may need to develop an app which will work with the website (and with the theme).
You can integrate the features you need bu plugins or custom code.
Wordpress encrypts the passwords in the database (MD5).

There is the “languages” fodler in the theme folder with a .po file and a readme file. You can use the PoEdit application to translate the words from the file.
