Hi,
Just download the theme .. and It says there is an “update” I followed the instructions re-installed and even removed the theme and installed it again and there is that massage.. I mean if we are just getting the theme for the first time we should be getting the updated version not the old version. Please advice.

we have found bug in update notifier function which was comes from a depreceated wordpress function. we have fixed it, it will be available with other updates on weekend (video support for slider, link attachment etc. ) so, right now please, ignore this notification.

I didn’t see anything about this in the documentation either, so I’m at a loss here. Deleting the post keeps that black box on the homepage, it just brings up the 404 content instead.
Hi, create a page called Homepage, with empty content. then from Settings – Reading, select static page, and as front page select created Homepage. thanks

Within my portfolio item, I was missing a column number for some reason, so it threw a bunch of WP errors, but I’ve fixed it, sorry!

OK, two more things now, that I didn’t see in this in the documentation either.
1) I’ve uploaded a “loading screen logo” but it’s not actually being displayed on the black dropdown loading “screen.” 2) The video on my homepage is just coming up as white, do I need to set the lightbox to video somewhere else or something?

1 – there is a bug with it, will be updated on weekend. 2 – video support will be available with the updates. on initial release, we did not have video for homepage slider. we added it, and making some tests on iphone ipad etc. with other fixes, will be available on weekend. thank you for your understanding.

Sorry to bug ya, two more things, although I think this should be it, haha.
1) Does the favicon setting work? It doesn’t seem to actually show up in the address bar, although this may just be my local cache. 2) How does the “More of the Project” button work? It appears that I should just be able to add a few more pictures to the one portfolio item, but I don’t think that’s possible?
1 – have you uploaded an icon for it? 2 – more of the project works like this : for example for a portfolio, from media upload above the content editor, you can upload multiple images. if you upload more than 1 image, then when user clicks more of the project, it will slide up or down. thanks

I want to use it for my photography portfolio, and I was wondering about the gallery features which is currently kind of limited in my opinion…
Right now it looks like each portfolio item contains only one photo. Even tough I actually discovered (by mistake..) that “Fashion 5” is a 3-photos item, it’s very hard to even discover that…. and it’s certainly not user friendly..
I really like the full-screen photos slideshow in the homepage – Maybe you could make a similar (but with some needed navigation) concept for the portfolio albums? If so, please also consider the option to make it FIT instead of FILL so that photos will not get cropped.

About the portfolios : portfolio item supports 3 types, image, gallery and video. And all of them are appeared as lightbox as you have already seen. And yes, Fashion 5 is a gallery type portfolio item.
Right now, we are adding feature to portfolio item detail page. That is, if portfolio item is selected to be gallery type as Fashion 5, then gallery images which were shown in lightbox, will be shown in detail page instead of featured image as slider. We will use responsive flex slider http://flexslider.woothemes.com. when it will available on demo, i will let you know.
About the fullscreen slider: the full screen slider pulls images from portfolio. you should just seperate it with a category. we will add option for cropping in slider options in Theme Options panel. so that, if you set cropping = false, then images will be fitted not filled.

theme is nice, but this closing slide each time i change page is frustating, there is no alternative?

our theme has an audio manager, where user can have its own music played across the site. for the music not to be interrupted, the site should be ajax supported. for ajax sites, there should be some kind of loading screen when changing pages. besides, the sliding effect is theme specific. thank you.

hi, thanks very much. in our theme, logo is aligned left, and menu is aligned right. but menu can be given margin to the right with custom css to move it left with single css line. you can insert custom css into theme options custom css area.
It’s terrible. It is practically impossible to open an external link in this layout without that frame down. How can this be? – Never seen that before!

if you have noticed, there is music playing interrupted across the site. for this to be possible, the site should be ajax, i.e the pages should load without page being refreshed. and when page is loading through ajax, there should be some kind of overlay to hide when site content area is being populated. we used sliding down as part of our design. external links can be attached to portfolio items, or any hyperlink with target _blank. thanks.

I was hoping for something more “full-screen-y”-feel….
hi, the fullscreen slider in homepage also pulls images from portfolio. next project button is working like next portfolio. more of a project is working to pull more images from portfolio. if you have 5 portfolio items, with 5 images in each, then you will have 25 images in homepage. when next project (which can be localized and changed to any word) is clicked, next portfolio item is displayed. when going up or down, images of that portfolio is displayed. from theme options, you can set whether to images should be cropped or not.
it is ajax site, so we decided that 1 full screen slider could be enough. portfolio detail slideshow is when you go to portfolio detail, then gallery images are shown as slider.

Yeah, I know that the homepage slider is taken from the portfolio.. But it’s not possible to use this slider as “THE” portfolio, because I can’t link directly to portfolio #x. Or can I? I would love to see an option that when clicking on the portfolio – it will open up as the fullscreen slider…

That ’s right i NEED it ! I’ve got 2 questions : Video still playing in background from the slideshow when you leave homepage and sometimes music from the main player come above and it become noisy
I’ve also bought Ristorent theme because i need responsive, and nice reservation module. Can i integrate reservation in as an iframe from my initial site or do I have to make reservation in external link?
However this theme is A MUST HAVE , well construct and comprehensive for the guests (not all are geek ready lol)

about your questions:
we have put an option to autoplay the music. when site launches, it starts playing, then, if someone plays video, the music is paused, if video is paused or stopped, music resumes. i guess we did not take into account multiple video plays. i will check the script and make changes.
about the iframe. you can place iframe into content area, but for iframes you should give height, and it may result of scrollbars appearing. in our content area, we already have scrollbars if content is taller, and there may appear two scrollbars. you always can make an external link.
