I wonder if it is possible to have arrows to the right and the left in the photo gallery, without my click to view in lightbox?
Hi, thank You:) at the moment lightbox is the only way to see gallery. First photo is visible as the main one, rest is hidden. If you need you can create separete portfolio page as single gallery. We are thinking about adding camera in next update.

Very nice theme you have here. May I know what colors can and cant be changed? I.e. background colors, borders etc.
You can add your own background and choose icon color as it is on fullwidth page. Rest colors can be only changed in css file but we will add color change to all pages in update.

Can I make the blog display like any of the portfolio layouts? Would really love to use this as a blog, but dont like the blog layout you have on the demo site.
If you don’t need comment section, you can create separate page with portfolio style and name it blog and it will look as portfolio on demo page. But if you need comment section there is no option for that at the moment. You are second person who is asking about it so we probably will add comments to portfolio.

I dont need comments for the portfolio. I just want to be able to use the portfolio layouts for the blog. I have an established blog and would, ideally, like to switch this theme on, use one of the portfolio layouts, and only have to make a few small changes.
Is the portfolio custom post types? Or how does that work?
When you are logged into admin panel, you can create from pages section new one with portfolio style.
After that when you go to portfolio wordpress section, you can add new media type (image,gallery,audio,youtube,vimeo) with text (normal wordpress editor) and then connect it to the page you just created.
So it will be separate page with you can use as blog. There won’t be any preview text etc. it will look as portfolio page on demo and you will be editing it from portfolio section.

Ok. So portfolio is a custom post type. Meaning that all of my blog posts can not inherit the portfolio layouts. Thats a bummer.
Portfolio is not exactly custom page. It is just like normal portfolio in wordpress but every item has option where you can select it to different pages.
In this case “Blog posts” inherit the portfolio layouts because they are manage in portfolio section so they act like portfolio item.

1. Can the portfolio items be opened in a lightbox instead of going directly into the post?
2. Is there a way to disable or adjust the sidebar navigation animation? Instead of the scrolling drop down effect, is it possible to have an instant drop down?

4. Are there plans to include a masonry style layout for portfolio items so that image thumbnails maintain their own aspect ratios?

1. There is no option like this in wp admin, but i can be done manually.
2. Yes, again it can be changed manually in js file.
3. The only available atm is the one from demo.
4. No, for now we don’t think about adding next portfolio style.

As soon as you put in the ability for “normal” people to see that a portfolio has more than 1 picutre (a gallery) either by placing arrows or by making it auto slide (that needs to be an option) I will purchase this theme, I LOVE! it, but is afraid that a lot of people will only see that first picture because its not obvious that it may contain a whole gallery.
maybe mouse over will display thumbnails in button of picture or some other thing that makes people aware of more pictures…
please add something, and I buy.

At the moment there is icon on image hover that indicate gallery inside, but we will add 5th option on portfolio type: slider with arrows (camera.js)

what plugin are you using for the contact form? I cannot receive any inputted forms.
Contact form is using typical php code. Emails from contact form are sending to administrator email address, so if you delete admin account or somehow delete his email you won’t get any email. You can check admin email address at Settings > General > E-mail Address.
If you still have problem with it, email me with your wp-admin detail i will check it for you.
after the purchase, I tried the slider but it doesn’t work. I tried to import a gallery or the mia import. What am I doing wrong?
And on my smartphone the menu disapears…..
Do you have version 1.0.1 ? if not download new from Themeforest. You supposed to have option “Slider” in Portfolio Type.
About menu on smartphones, it moves from left to the top of the page and you can choose page from select menu, also all widgets goes there.

There is no problem with the slider, script is working fine. Probably you are providing wrong links to the images so it keeps loading them. I can see the same issue on other pages at your site.
If you can, send me mail with your wp-admin login details i will check it and then tell you what is wrong.
Hi, I was wondering if you can help me with a few more things.
1. I have three page menus (on the left) that I would like to use, but for some reason I am getting 4 empty blocks below that are not in use, Can they be removed?
2. Why am I getting two images on the full screen preview once clicked. One image is full screen, then the same image is shown below on the left.
3. Once someone clicks on the image to view more detail, can the size be limited rather than full screen?

1. Of course they can be removed. Go to Appearance > Menus. Search the empty blocks and click on the arrow with is located on the right side of the gray box. Then click remove.
2. Thats strange behavior, you are probably adding it to the item description (text box where you can bold, underline text etc.), you can leave it empty.
3.At the moment there is no option for that from wp-admin, it can be only done manually from the main.css file. But i think we can add this feature in update.
if you still have problem with something you can always send me your wp-admin details and i will try fix it and then explain what was wrong.

We will add this feature in next update as another portfolio style ( in pages section), so the full page image will be disabled and images will be zoomed by prettyPhoto script.
