Fashionic - Portfolio/Magazine WordPress Theme

ok.. I have found why the option page didn’t work. Wordpress made directory “fashionic final0927” .. with space automatically. If I renamed directory to fashionic, then the options page is fine.

still some bugs. Navigation div on left is somehow out of css. Changing theme options , font color or size don’t work. Menu links are browser default color….

I noticed there is a slow loading time when you click on images in the portfolio. Will the speed be improved in a future update?

How do you designate the menu on the sidebar?

Hello. I’m learning to manage their Fashionic theme to use as portfolio of my work. I hope to make the most of.

I just saw that in the demo page has been built over an image in the post that are plotted column, even in slider. This is great and wide possibilities of the theme. But I have little doubt that the document that I downloaded ZIP ThemeForest yesterday dated September 1 file incorporates these developments, since the revision date that appears on ThemeForest is September 2. In case you need to update it does the procedure again is to download the ZIP and reinstall it, or is there another method?.

I also wanted to find out whether you can change the font family as the body text is difficult to read because already in his xample page shows the lack of spaces between letters, and the title seems too harsh and excessive size.

Clarification - I see the option to designate a sidebar for the Static Pages-but I would like to designate a menu on a list-style page, like in the demo.

Hey there! I just bought the theme and I’m working on a site.

The images I want to feature are 403×403, but I notice on the homepage the thumbnails are cutting off a bit from the top and bottom of each image.

How can I set the default thumbnail size to an exact square so I don’t have this issue going forward?

Take a look and you’ll see what I mean. The text “MYBIBLE.COM” is cut off on the bottom right corners.

I actually tried that already, but it didn’t help with my cropping issue.

The category pages are fine, but the homepage is still having that issue.

I really love this theme and so does my client…The problem is with mobile version….It looks really bad ;0(, the css isn’t complete. The logo doesn’t render properly, content gets shoved under menu etc… Are you planning on fixing that ? That is the only obstacle we have before we go live…otherwise we will have to go with another theme ;0( and we don’t want to…so please fix it ?

How do I add content below the nav or in the footer?

Looking to put some text and a Facebook like box there.

Also, how can I add content to pages below the page title? Would love to have a description on each page.

Nice theme. I just purchased it and so far so good with all but one thing. When I am adding or editing a post, I don’t see the Format area under the Update button so i choose screen options and click on it. However, once I update the format area disappears again so I click on screen options and it shows Format is already selected. I have to uncheck it and check it again for it to show up but Updating continues to make it disappear from my options area. Any ideas on this? I have tried reinstalling wordpress but didn’t work. I am running 3.4.2.

I successfully set up the theme. Great job, by the way. The problem I’m having is that the slider is hidden on mobile devices. Hi, I have a problem with installing this theme. Just purchased and download and upzip it, and found another zip file ‘fashonic’. I have uploaded the ‘fashonic’ zip file and found it successfully installed. But whenever I tried to activated, whole system break down. So, I deleted the uploaded file on ftp, tried over again, but all the same problem. May be, here’s another clue, the system said style sheet cannot be found, that what I found on the theme page on dash board. Please advise.

I like this theme a lot, but the image posts are overlapping each other when you click on the link to expand them. Is this a common issue? Thanks

I would like to offer some recomendations for your template. I would recommend that when a user clicks on any of the gallery images or pictures and the image resizes and shows content the background images/side content should either blur out, it should go white, or all the surrounding images should become soft and have a white filter on them maybe opacity so that they would barely be visible so the user could click on them if they want to go to the next item but it should not distract from what is being read or looked at. Currently the theme is very distracting and the only reason why I am reluctant to purcahse it. ONce something is selcted to the foreground everything else needs to either go away or become less distracting. It is hard to read a blog post with other images and text all around it. Pelase consider making an update which softens the background or gets rid of the surrounding stuff when one is focused on what was selected.

When I add an image to a Post it automatically appears inside the post. How do I remove that so I can manually choose which posts to include images in?

I want to keep them appearing throughout the site, but on some, I want a different image inside the actual post, so I’d like to add them manually/seperately from the thumbnail images.

What code must be changed to do this?

I want to remove the image from automatically being included in the actual post page/s.

I need to add it in manually to add a column next to it. I cannot add a column next to a featured image.
