Hi Fan, hope you recover soon. Please, when the posts expands, can it contain: 1. Embeded html code from web services as SounCloud? 2. Can we place shortcodes below the image? For example, social icons, etc. 3. Can it compatible with facebook comments instead of the reply?

And please, could you make a toggle option to hide/show the vertical menu? If you see the template with the “theme selector” of envato, you see the theme seems very cool with both, vertical and horizontal menus. Think about it please. Would boost the greatness of your theme.

Hi if you go to http://www.marinoumberto.it/?page_id=1625 and choose “bamboo” as category, the relative items doesn’t appear on the results, as well as for all other category… it works only for “brocade”, but the structures of the articles is the same…. Did you mean the “bamboo” in filter(All Bamboo Brocade Crivelli Lotus Melrose Orangerie Peony Renaissance)?

Please make sure there is the post in “bamboo” category.

1 – i’ve created all the categories for the posts. 2 – i’ve created all the posts, selecting the relative category for each ones. ...but as you can see here: http://www.marinoumberto.it/?page_id=1625 if you select a single category, like bamboo, crivelli, lotus…they don’t work! Can you help me please?

You need to make sure the post is under the category(e.g. post Bamboo under category Bamboo)

Just wondering before I purchase. Is it possible to use the Portfolio list with video too? When you expand one of the items, it then shows a video instead of images.

There is video format post in the link, support embed video (not support hosted video)

If you want the video is displayed in expanded item. you could use standard post, and insert the embed video codes in content.

Hi and Great Theme!

I unfortunately feel like an idiot. I have created a Page and made it a list page, selected the Category page I want to show, selected portfolio style. Created a post with an image, selected the Category the Page is directed towards. Changed the homepage in Settings to the Page I want to begin with. Then I go to preview the site and no images. When messing with the settings and selections I can only manage to get words to show, but no images.

Please help. Am I missing something? Did I need to download a Plugin?

You need not download any plugin. Did you create a standard post? If it is, please set a featured image for the post.

So I found the problem.

I did create a standard post and I did set a featured image, however, this time I noticed the image flashed on briefly when I loaded the page, so I knew the image was there.

I went to the plugins and deactivated any plugin that dealt with imaging and so once I deactivated the WP-prettyPhoto plugin, the page loaded just fine.

Hope this helps anyone else that may have similar problems. Thank you for responding quickly.

I am using your theme. One thing I am battling with is how to get the front page to have 3 blocks along side each other that changes when you increase and decrease the size of your browser. Can anyone help me? Also trying to get blog posts to look like the magazine option in the example. Am I missing something

2) Please set the Page options/List Page Settings/Layout as “Magazine” in list page(screenshot: http://d.pr/i/OLSy ). better do not set the posts as gallery in the list page.

I notice in Safari Version 6.0.1 (8536.26.14) that when opening up an image or a blog post, the ‘expansion’ effect flickers. It kind of looks buggy.

This is probably a really dumb question!! Having purchased the theme, there’s lots of flexibility around changing fonts all over the site…the only font I can’t seem to change is the main body font! I can change the font, but not the size of it? It’s a bit small in blog posts…I had a look in the CSS and change the ‘body’ font-size but it didn’t see to make any difference in the blog posts. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, i like the theme. Dolly question though. What is maximum image width the 3:2 portfolio images are shown? (not the thumbnail but the actual portfolio images) Just so i can optimise the images. Thanks!

Thanks, glad you like it.

The recommended size is 800px x 600px. In fact, the size of the thumbnails(3:2) will be automatically cropped to 400px x 268px.

Sorry, maybe i wasn’t clear. I actually mend the portfolio image, not the thumbnail. So the image after clicking the thumbnail. Tried to measure it myself, does 1024 make any sense? Thanks again.

I’m very impressed with this theme and especially I like the masonry homepage very much.

Before buying it, I need to be sure it will suit my project for a craft industry website.

In this theme, when clicking an image, it opens the porfolio content (I guess ?). Is it possible to

open a page (or other post) instead of portfolio?
have excerpt shown when image is hovered?

If not, will it be possible to change this with easy customization (modifying php pages ?)

2. Did you mean that displayed excerpt replace title? if it is, yes, it’s easy to modify the template to archive it.

Thanks for last feedback. One more thing, if you look at my site so far on the home page, all the images are the same size and line up but on the 4th one down on the left… Its slightly taller and not aligned. Please advise.

Hi there, Great theme!

I have the same question/issue as fromhereonin re, above. I can get images to show on category pages just fine, e.g. http://208.43.141.130/~carolste/category/portfolio/dream/, but, cannot load a page called “work” call to a category that doe have posts with gallery images, and featured thumbnails – nothing shows up on the page. However, the images do flash there briefly: http://208.43.141.130/~carolste/portfolio/. Also, on the first category page, the images won’t stay 12 to a page, it is leaving a space for 2 and moving 2 to the next page. Do you know what I’ve done or how to fix? Thanks!

Oops, sorry. I found the answer to both: on the images not showing on portfolio page: the block width was too low and was breaking it. On the category page issue, I shouldn’t have been using the categories, I’ll create a page for each category #blondedayforme. Thanks!

in this screenshot – http://themeforest.net/theme_previews/2952825-fashionic-portfoliomagazine-wordpress-theme?index=9 – if one writes in the text editor area – it appears below the image in the gallery.

So, were i to use the same home page as the demo, and open the image post, it would show the image and then it would be followed by the content of the text editor, yes?
