Unfortunately, I can’t make use of this theme but I had to tell you that it is great and what a fantastic idea you have, creating a fully functioning, self updating facebook fanpage… If you should ever create something with this functionality (fanpage and all) that is more towards the urban, indie-sports worlds like skateboarding, snowboarding, etc., I will purchase it in a heartbeat… hint! hint! Bravo! All in all this is a great looking theme that has be well thought out and crafted…

The “app” is built into the WordPress theme so there’s no additional third party software needed.
You only need to register the page with facebook as an app, but everything sets u the same as a WordPress page.
A step by step manual is included.

I love this theme – unfortunately though, I don’t own a restaurant!
So, would this theme work for a different type of business?
I run an IT support company and would love to use this theme – if it would work.
Can the ‘Bookings’ app be made to only allow one booking per time slot? i.e. I only have about 6 or 7 appointments available per day. Once an appointment is taken, would it remove it from the available times list? Also, could it be made to ask the customer for an address?

The bookings would not be perfect for your type of business, because it doesn’t focus on time slots but rather on a daily maximum bookings.
The maximum appointments can be set and the theme sort of hacked a little to adopt, but it would not be perfect for the job.

Very Nice! couple of questions.
1. Can you have multiple calendars? IE: I was planning on using this for my rental property website, and have 3 properties. i’d like a separate calendar for each property to show availability
2. Is there an approval process before the date shows as unavailable? IE, someone submits the calendar form, and I can approve or reject it based on my schedule before it shows unavailable.

Making it work for a bookings site, would not work at this time.
The approval process can be set either to be instant, or to have pre-approval, with custom messages to customers.

Hi;
On any slide show when the small buttons are clicked to change the current slide it does change as it should. However, the text from the previous slide is left as is and the new text is superimposed on top which causes a mess.
This happens on Firefox, didn’t test on other browsers.
Please kindly fix this bug.

Does this mean your Facebook Landing Page app would work with other other themes with a wordpress platform? Because if it would would with my current site (sports related as mentioned above) I would buy it in a heartbeat… Please let me know if this is possible… I’m sure a number of people here would buy it as well…

I didn’t find a contact page. Is it available, or do I have to install a plugin for it?
All modules were built only for a restaurant site or they can be adapted? For example in the menu, Do I have to display the daily specials or can I choose to not display it?
The gallery is really cool! Is there an option for an autoplay mode and a navigation menu? Also, I would like to make some suggestions for the gallery: - Making more visible the close button; - Give the option for the user to click in the background and turn off the gallery mode;

I did not add a contact page, and you are welcome to add one with a plugin.
The basis of the design was to allow things to be either switched on or off.
The get directions button can be reassigned, the taglines can be deleted as well as the upcomming shows and carousel, with the content that is driven via widgets it will also take any content that you can throw at it.
If you do not add any content in the daily specials block, it will simply get ignored.

Can the bookings system work for several different events or RSVPs at one time? Also, can the calendar handle thumbnail/ images at all? Links?
Finally, if an event is on the calendar, can it be linked to the bookings system to RSVP ?
OH! One more thing, can the bookings system handle any sort of payment option, if a certain type of booking is made? For example, you can RSVP for free for regular guests, but if you want VIP and it’s a cost, can that be integrated (even if I have to do it custom)?

The bookings system is more a reservations system for restaurants and will not suit bookings for the hospitality industry.

I really like the look of this theme, but it has a bit more functionality than I need… how easy is it to exclude the event related features? Ideally, I’d like to replace the “next show” in box with a “Now Open” , “Currently Closed”, adn removed the events, calendar, bookings, etc.
Also, there doesn’t seem to be built in provisions for images as part of the menu items, just text with prices; is that correct?
Sweet theme though, wish I needed all the features.

I do agree that the functionality is a little too much for most establishments, and for that reason you can activate what you need and deactivate the rest.
I went a little away from the menu card idea, and added the functionality that seemed to work best with the commercial projects that i coded in the past for the hospitality industry.
