Many many thanks!

WOW , Tanya! This is not responsive. It is a SUPER -RESPONSIVE design! I love that liquid behavior. Very clean and very smart. Great work! :)

I just purchased this theme and I’m confused about setting it up. Could I get assistance with this?

virtuti

Hello,

what exactly can I help you? Let me know please.

im_oshi Purchased

I uploaded the xml file but my website looks incomplete. My blog is at www.thesocieter.com, am I suppose to do something more with the other files? Will you be able to upload it for me?

virtuti

Hello, you did not upload CSS and js files yet. See item#2 in Help File: 2) Upload “js” folder, “css” folder and “images” folder to your hosting.

im_oshi Purchased

Or could you give me the steps to properly install this template? Thank you

I am using Blogger.com platform. do I compress the files all into one?

virtuti

You can minify every css and js file but think about further adjustments and keep unminified version as well. You can join though, reset.css and styles.css and make one file instead of two. Wish you the best.

Thank you. I have uploaded them to my host and entered the js and css files however, I need to upload the images. I am lost again. Thank you for your help and patience.

You do the same actually–upload your images folder to you host and link them in html–like mine: http://demo.virtuti.info/festzeit/images/someimage.jpg.

Or, you can straightly upload them to Blogger (they will be stored in Google Picasa)–I prefer to store images rather on my hosting, but this is really a matter of choice.

I am new to this so this is more complicated than I expected. You have a great template however, I think I just wasted $15 because of my confusion :(

virtuti

Ask questions, I shall try to help you as much as possible, it is not as difficult as may seem at a first glance.

I am unsure on how to upload the images to blogger directly

virtuti

You have two folder included into template set of folders: “images”–these ones are for layout itself and “images-post”–these ones are for daily posts.

“Images” folder is better to upload onto your host like you did it with css and js files and update paths in css file. For example: you see in xml this piece of code:

<a class="twitter" href="http://www.twitter.com"></a>

Image paths for social icons you see in css:

a.twitter{
background:url(http://yourdomain/images/twitter.png) no-repeat  0 0;
}
----further code goes here---

Replace “yourdomain” with your actual host name.

Second type of images storage is in your widgets html files. For example: click wrench icon for Showcase. But before, find in “widgets” folder a subfolder entitled “HTML5-showcase-widget”. Copy and paste the code into the window that opens when you click the wrench icon related to Showcase widget. In the code you will see image URL :

<img alt="description" src="http://yourdomain/yourfolder/images/yourimage.jpg" /></figure>

Once again, replace “yourdomain” with your host address. Continue update images URLs through all files apart posts.

Now posts. As I said you have separate folder of images belonging to posts only. You can also upload them to your host and paste URLs into post body. Or when you write a new post you have two options in Blogger: “Compose” and “Edit HTML ”. If you choose “Compose” you have an icon “image”, by clicking it you can upload your post image straightly to Picasa and Blogger will show this image on your post.

“Compose” mode though has a big disadvantage: your code will have a big mess, therefore I noted in Help File that it is much better to work in “Edit HTML ” mode and attached screenshot. Also, if you will want to use slider, this method will not be suitable. Therefore, “Edit HTML ” mode is ideal.

However, you can still upload your image via Blogger (Picasa), copy its URL and rework a bit your post: open it once again in “Edit HTML ” mode, clean it up from trash which Blogger obligatory will throw up into your code and you will have accurate clean code without mess and trash–like it looks on my sample post pages code which are included into folder (3 of them: with image, with video and with slider).

Tanya, Its just beautiful. Always remarkable work! Congrats :)

Thank you very very much!

It is a wonderful template. Thank you! :)

A top picture was not displayed by IE.

It solved, when adding [ie-image] to [HTML5-showcase-widget]!

virtuti

Hello, thank you! Hmm, strange, I tested. Naturally, IE is unable to display CSS3 overlay, therefore I added ie.css. Did you include the link to ie.css into xml?

Hello Just purchased your template. I have Blogger Hosted through Google. I wasn’t aware that I could access FTP with google. Do I have to have a separate host for this template to work?

virtuti

Hello, thank you very much!

Yes or no:)) Depends on you. Read please this my article: http://nachbildung.blogspot.co.il/2012/07/adding-external-files-to-blogger.html it explains how to deal with external files in both cases–with and without domain/hosting.

If you will have more questions please ask.

Does this work with adsense?

virtuti

Hello, thank you for the interest. Yes, why not? You just need to add this widget to the sidebar.

It wouldn’t interfere with the jquery in this template? When I added adsense to the template I’m using now, it stopped my jquery from working. I just don’t want to run into the same problem here.

virtuti

It should not intermess cause they are two different things but I cannot say that for sure until I test it. I have no adsense enabled, it will take me some time to check.

virtuti

Hello, I set the adsense account and placed widget on the demo. Please visit it to ensure. Thanks!

P.S. Please mind: template is built in percents (responsive) while adsense widget has a fixed width.

virtuti

I hope you had a chance to look into live demo. If not, here is a screenshot:

very nice template! 2 questions if I may: 1. is it ready by any chance to support RTL (you know… hebrew) 2. if i would like to make some (small) changes (like placing the 2 ‘go up’ and ‘go bottom’ buttons at their natural location (bottom and up part of the page), would it be all done via the HTML editor? do you give any support for that? thank you

virtuti

Hello Eli, thank you for your interest.

1. is it ready by any chance to support RTL (you know… hebrew)––barur she ani yoda’at:))) Well, it will requires some tweaks to convert to RTL , they are not complicated but still some effort is needed.

2. if i would like to make some (small) changes (like placing the 2 ‘go up’ and ‘go bottom’ buttons at their natural location (bottom and up part of the page), would it be all done via the HTML editor? ––Same, a few tweaks are required, it is not possible via HTML editor but via code itself.

3. do you give any support for that?––Yes, sure, but as it is quite a customisation/editing of the existing template upon user/buyer needs it is not free of charge.

Thank you!

Hello,

Beautiful theme indeed. Any chance for an all html version?

virtuti

Thank you very much! I do not think html version will be released.

Help!!! I feel like I’ve wasted 20 bucks on this. I installed the files on my server but don’t get how to get it to look the same. Where is the widget activation in the html?? and i am using blogger.com

virtuti

First of all, hello! Second thing, thank you for purchasing! And third, if you still need a help do not shout about waste of money since you did not waste it but please explain in a quiet manner what is the problem. I shall help gladly.

I don’t see the static pages on the top right~!!
