Awesome template Moose, glws mate! ;)

@csspress Thank you, glad you like it.

Nice theme. I like the full width layout. But do you know that the bottom footer overlaps the text on the page? Or is that a design feature?

MooseThemes

It’s part of the design feature. However if you don’t prefer this one you can just remove the height property.

Very nice template! Welcome to TF and good luck! :)

Thank you, glad you like it.

Nice theme… trying to use the home page only as a scrolling splash… I’m having issues with IE tho… any ideas will be helpful…

MooseThemes

Glad you like it, thanks for the purchase! :), any url?

http://www.abeincusa.com/intro/ Client has a conference this weekend and needed some pizazz to play on a giant tv screen… So i trimed the fat and recycled the scroll part… Also need to omit the slider at the very bottom…
MooseThemes

OK, you mention problems on IE, were they problems because you’re implementing something new? or specific problems with the theme itself?

Does download file include PSD ?

MooseThemes

Sorry it doesn’t include a PSD however is so easy to modify and fit your needs, since it is a clean design.

I can’t see the sliding images in IE on 2-different computers… All I get is the loading symbols… I thought I was careful to only delete the content I’m not using… Also, Follow my link to see the additional images…

MooseThemes

I’m seeing this msg from console.log Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.abeincusa.com/intro/img/slider-imgs/bg6c.jp, which basically means can’t find this image bg6c.jpg, Also on ie it’s taking a lot to load since you have 25 slides, please bear in mind that having a lot of images will take a lot of time for them to load. P.S. I just check the theme and is working just fine on IE.

Also, when it was working the whole banner slid from right to left and didn’t allow the text to fly in separately…

When I put my images in the home page slider, they are faded out, and the “2368 x” shows up. I can’t find where to change these things.

Also, I thought this template was supposed to come with icons? I wanted to add a LinkedIn icon to the footer. Do you have any rollover code for that, so it lights up, like the others?

Finally, is there a way to make the Portfolio page more organized, but still responsive? I don’t like how the images move and are uneven, etc. Cam you suggest something?

Thanks for the template!

On the home slider you can change buttons to be anchor tags and then just add the href attribute to it. Here you have it.

<a type="button" class="btn btn-large btn-info slider-button" href="LINK TO YOUR ARTICLE/POST/PAGE">Check your phone</a>

Hello again! Two out of the three of your suggestions/instructions worked great. The one about the Work didn’t, though. The reason I wanted to change the layout is the height of some of the images screws up the flow.

When I try to implement your class=”rows” tip, nothing shows up:

http://architextdesigns.com/NewSite/workERROR.html

Thank you! Justin

MooseThemes
To implement the row column concept we need to make a different approach, try doing this.

<div class="work-outer-container">
<div class="row">
  <div class="twelve columns">
    <div class="row">
      <div id="work-container">
        <div class="four columns transition element metal ">
        </div> <!--end four columns-->
     </div> <!--end work-container-->
     </div> <!--end work-row-->
     </div> <!--end twelve columns-->
     </div> <!--end row-->
     </div> <!--end work-outer-container-->

After this we need to clearfix via CSS on work-outer-container

.work-outer-container:before,
.work-outer-container:after {
    content: " "; /* 1 */
    display: table; /* 2 */
}

.work-outer-container:after {
    clear: both;
}

/**
 * For IE 6/7 only
 * Include this rule to trigger hasLayout and contain floats.
 */
.work-outer-container {
    *zoom: 1;
}

Let me know if that help you. Cheers.

Also, how to I send the form to the people I need to? Thanks.

MooseThemes

Send mails from the contact form? If you need a working contact form there is pleny of php available http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/html-css-techniques/build-a-neat-html5-powered-contact-form/

I changed the twitter settings to point to my twitter account. However it is still defaulting to the original twitter account embedded. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, love the template.

MooseThemes
Thanks for the purchase, just need to replace this (100) line on file called app.js (WHERE IT SAYS ENVATO YOUR USERNAME ). Cheers.

//THIS HANDLES THE TWITTER FEED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE
(function(){
  $('#twitter-feed').jtwt({
    count : 2, // The number of displayed tweets. Default is 5.
    username : 'envato', // Your username on Twitter
    image_size : 0, // The size of your avatar. 0 means "no avatar". Default is 48.
    loader_text : 'loading tweets', // The text which be displayed by loading the tweets.
    convert_links : 1 // Choose if the links and replies in your tweets to be converted in clickable links. 0 means no, 1 means yes.
  });
})();

In IE ( on themeforest website ) this error appears in the console: SCRIPT438 : Object doesn’t support property or method ‘imagesLoaded’ app.js, line 146 character 3

And the theme fails.

On my personal install I subdued the error in code: if($container.imagesLoaded != undefined) { // do method } but then IE threw this error. SCRIPT438 : Object doesn’t support property or method ‘smartresize’ app.js, line 159 character 1

This is a fresh install with no other modifications.

The same error occurs in Chrome on your website but it doesn’t break the theme.

No offense to you dude. The theme is great. I hate IE.. I got the theme working by removing the jquery.imagesLoading plugin calls. ( But the images took about 30 seconds to show up on the theme in IE..every other browser looks fine without it ) And then it still looked pretty bad in IE9 . I wish Microsoft wouldn’t display false advertising that their browser is so modern and dynamic when it is ANYTHING but. I mean look at any descent theme on EVERY other browser,..then look at it on IE9 .

Sorry for my rant. If you fix the issue beyond simply commenting out the plugin please let me know.

1st. Thank you for the purchase, 2nd. I just wrapped the code inside of an if (see code below) please copy and paste the following and sorry for the inconvenience. :)

//THIS HANDLES THE WORK/ PORTFOLIO PAGE
(function(){

if($('#work-container').length && $().isotope()){
    var $filters= $('#filters'),
      $container = $('#work-container');

      $('ul.work-list').on('mouseenter','.element', function(){
        //when i hover over the .element change the opacity of the other elements
          $(this)
            .css({'opacity': 1})
              .siblings()
                .css({'opacity': 0.7});
        });
      $('ul.work-list').on('mouseleave',function () {
        //reset the opacity
        $(this).children().fadeTo("fast", 1);
      });

  $container.imagesLoaded( function(){
    $container.isotope({
      // options...
      resizable: false,
      itemSelector : '.element',
      // set columnWidth to a percentage of container width
      masonry: { columnWidth : 1 }
    });
  });
  // update columnWidth on window resize
$(window).smartresize(function(){
  $container.isotope({
    // update columnWidth to a percentage of container width
    masonry: { columnWidth: 1}
  });
});

  $filters.find('a').click(function(){
    var $this = $(this), selector = $this.attr('data-filter');
    //checked if already has a class selected and do nothing
    if($this.hasClass('selected')){
      return false;
    }
    //checked if the one that i'm clickin doesn't have the class then find the one that has the class
    //and removed the class after that
    $this.parents($filters).find('.selected').removeClass('selected');
    //Just add the class selected to the new item
    $this.addClass('selected');

    $container.isotope({
      filter: selector
    });
    return false;
  });
}

})();

Hmm…still not working. There is no error now. But nothing loads. Also the menu drop downs don’t work properly. It displays, but when I attempt to navigate it disappears.

MooseThemes

Sorry to hear that you’re having problems can i have an url so i can see the problem?

It looks like its working on other computers than my dev machine. I have made several modifications to the template now and don’t expect you to fix what I may have messed up. Thanks all the same. I think I’ll look into using an alternative method for loading the images when IE is the browser.

Thanks

MooseThemes

Your welcome, any other inquires don’t hesitate.

hello i love this template it’s perfect for a product i’m selling but i need also the images i see in the demo. You provide in the files from your template? I don’t see in the credits.

MooseThemes

Glad you like it :). Actually the images are not included in the download files they are © from this fantastic photographer Mark Sebastian

Hello, Thank you for the great theme and I purchased it few weeks back and my site (http://www.modaitalia.in/) works fine in other browsers expect IE. Several people have reported the menu doesnt load or they see a black strip.

Please help.

MooseThemes

The theme has been tested on all mayor browser including IE it’s kind of odd, since you can see (picture), using IE and it looks just like the others.
