Hi Jonathan, Is there a way to have 2 separate Trainer pages? I am wanting one for Fitness Trainers and one for PT Trainers. I can’t seem to figure out how to get the trainers to show on one page or the other. They are all showing on both. Thank you!

jonathan01

Hi and first thanks for the purchase.

As the trainers are a custom post type, and then that custom post type is drawn in to it’s own page and then also tied with another custom post type for the course it would take quite a bit of customization unfortunately.

If you are interested I can pass you along to a dev who could quote you for this customization if that’s of interest to you – if so please contact me via my profile page contact form (link supplied in your help doc for support) and I can hook you together.

Many thanks

please send me settings how to organize main page in this style -home 3

jonathan01

Hi and thank you for your purchase. If you follow the help document given it will give you an explanation of each page template. Home-3 is just page template Home-SliderOnly and what ever content you place in the content area of the page.

Thanks

I did it, but I have not in 2 columns, and in one and without buttons. Please send me a mail code that I put on the main page.

jonathan01

Those are shortcodes, we don’t set up your page for you, the shortcodes are all explained in your documentation and we provide a .txt file for the shortcode examples.

If you would’ve imported the XML file, you would have that home-3 and would be able to just edit.

To get 2 columns you use 1/2 first and 1/2. The buttons are also a shortcode, again – detailed in your documentation.

Thanks

Hi, Just bought the theme today and installed on latest WP 3.5 platform.

The background color is not showing:

The following line seems to be missing from the CSS style:

main_section_home {

background-color: #F0414D; }

This is our temporary link, please take a look and let us know what to do or if we need an update of the theme: http://twistgym.localplacemarketing.co.uk/

Thanks!

jonathan01

Hi and thanks for the purchase – there is no line missing from the css the body color is set with #bdywrapper which looking at your site is currently set and displaying just fine. Also the theme is fully tested in the new WP. However you should set your link color in the theme options panel. Also make sure to follow each step of the instructions to make sure you activated plugins provided etc.

Please note this is a comment area and not for support – support as per your help file is provided through the contact form on my profile page in case you need to contact us with regard to anything else.

Many thanks.

Hi,

Im having some problems with the accordion shortcode. Im using it in my front page but they dont appear tu function.

This is the link: http://www.attitudefitness.es/

Im using this structure, inside a one_third column shortcode: {accordion=Print Design}

Whatever…

{/accordion}

And the Tab Slides in settings is configured the same way as in documentation.

What could it be?? Thanks in advance.

jonathan01

I do not see anywhere in your page code where you are using an accordion I’m afraid. Please use the contact form on my profile page as per the instructions with the theme to gain support – please include a link to your WP admin and login credentials so I may check your code – thanks

Dont worry, I solved it yesterday. The thing is that if you dont have a title in the homepage, the shortcodes dont work. Its odd, but its like that. I put the title and deleted it by using display: none; on the css.

Thanks anyway.

Hello,

I’m thinking on purchasing this theme, how is the color scheme customization? Can I change the colors for a specific ones?

Thanks

jonathan01

Hi – as per the item description in this theme we give you a single color picker in the admin to change all that is red to whatever you want. If you wish to customize anything individually we offer a custom css panel in the admin or of course the normal way of changing things via the style.css file.

Many thanks

Hi,

I want to purchase this beautiful theme but I am concerned about a few things…

1. Can I change the Pink Background and header into blue, can I change the colour of the buttons..

2. When I purchase the theme, Does it come with its promoted layout exactly like it is shown on live preview which includes all the sample pages with it.

3. Is it SEO customizable.

4. Is it slow to load up or fast.

5. Is there a signup page shortcode to hyperlink with the signup button.

Thankyou!

jonathan01

Hi let me answer your questions in order:

1 – see the description and how we state one color picker changes all the red (if it’s pink to you you should alter and calibrate your screen as it’s not pink btw)

2 – yes we provide XML import and full instructions to get the exact same as the live preview

3 – seo optimized is dependent on the content and how you lay things out – anyone that states their theme is SEO optimized does not understand what that means – content is king, organization of your pages is paramount – but yes the url’s are clean url’s (as they should be) and the headings etc are all correct also.

4 – depends on your server, your images and your content – the theme is practically 100% css therefore it doesn’t get quicker – you can also use optimizers with any wordpress theme via a plugin.

5 – don’t understand this question at all sorry – buttons are shortcodes that lead to wherever you tell them to lead to – membership organization and collections along with payments etc should be done using either a third party payment service or a plugin that is compatible with your payment processor.

Many thanks

I love this theme and am considering purchasing it. I wanted to know if it was possible to add recipes easily and imbed training videos for different levels of paid membership. I was thinking of getting a membership plugin in conjunction with this theme in order to allow access to the videos for the type of paid membership, but wanted to see how compatible this theme would be before I do. Loving this theme and look forward to your reply.

jonathan01

Yes, absolutely you could do what you want – it’s just a matter of pages or posts using categories (basic WordPress functions in all themes) and the use of the right plugin you decide to use for your membership section.

Hope that helps!

Hi,

I bought your theme but there is an apparent glitch. I added menu items first to the main menu but only as to show in secondary nav. that didn’t work. I deleted all of menus and started again, however the sub nav will not remove itself. It’s stuck there. Again, I have deleted ALL of the menus but still it shows in the lower/secondary nav. Here is a link to the site. You can see the stuck secondary nav. http://studio.webege.com/

What do I do?

Thanks.

jonathan01

The call for the secondary nav is in the footer, you must assign a primary nav and a secondary nav as instructed in your documentation. If you don’t want the secondary nav, just open footer.php and remove the wp_nav_menu call for the secondary menu.

If you need further assistance, please use the form on my profile page as instructed so if we need to send you screen shots etc we can do this via the email.

Thanks

I’ve been doing some work on a clients website with your theme and they really don’t like the thin grey lines that show below the content, widgets and images.

Is there anyway to remove those? I’ve looked at the code and can’t seem to figure out what it’s called or how to remove it. Any help would be appreciated it.

http://studio.kondicallanetics.com/specials/new-years/
jonathan01

Thank you for your purchase and yes, absolutely you can remove this by opening the style.css and find this #right_content_wrapper, #wrapper_content_left and .blog_wrapper and remove the CSS call for box-shadow. This will cover the blog content, the right sidebar and the left sidebar.

Thanks

Hello,

I bought the theme, everything gone well until I fixed both menus and only takes one of them, please help me why happen as soon as possible,

thanks!

jonathan01

Greetings, it sounds like you have not named them as per the instructions – please see the section on menus in your documentation. Each HAS to have the specific registered menu name as per the documentation and how WordPress works.

Please also note that for support we ask you use the contact form on my profile page not the comment area for the item as per your instructions also.

Thanks!

This a very silly question but Jonathan, are you able to give me the photoshop work file of the images you made for the theme…. it will help alot because if I am a personal trainer I would want my own images and my own prices put on the banners and not some randomly chosen prices…. Please!! I need to edit all of this from the photoshop layers and text layers!! I have good background in webdesign but I only purchased the theme because I have no time to design and custom design mine from scratch. I am in school so time is tight!

jonathan01

Hi – they are all already included – check your files you downloaded as I not only give you the layered full designs (incorporating the items mentioned) but also the fully layered single elements such as the slider images with pricing etc separated from the main files so editing is as easy as can possibly be, there’s no easier way from any product and therefore there are no more files as they are all included :)

Many thanks

Thank you, I am working on editing now but I have another question.

How does the blog page and its subcategories work… because if I want to make a post I want it to be seen when it is clicked on the blog tab and be seen and found in its appropriate category. I dont get how this works… even if I want to make a post the subcategory menu does not appear as a category in the new post categories menu… I do realize that there are menus created and have been directed to specific categories but I am just confused

jonathan01

Hi – categories in wordpress for a post are set the same with absolutely any theme – when you create your post you select the category it belongs to from the category box on the right of the editing page, (you create new categories as WP comes with “uncategorized” out of the box).

As this theme along with all others follows the same principles, doing a quick search in google for how categories in WordPress work, should get you a great tutorial that could explain it far better than I could here in an item comment area.

I hope that helps get you going.

its not a video that should explain the issue to me.. I honestly have been using wordpress for 8 years and I still cant figure this out…. I just dont get how to direct a post to its corrosponding category.. It does not appear…besides if i go to my blog tab and hover under one of the subcategories… it directs me to this link… I am not trying to whine and complain… I wish i could understand this so I dont waste my time. http://mythemepreviews.com/fitness/category/standard
jonathan01

I never mentioned a video?? So… I do not understand what you are trying to ask here, are you asking about posts, redirects, categories or menus? Please use the form on my profile page as per the help file for support where we can better serve you.

The link you provided is a link in the WordPress menus – simply edit the menu link to point to your category you wish to link to.

Jonathan, I figured it out evantually, but I have another question… I hope the answer will be easy this time and I wont have to cause any confusions….

I really liked the layout of the homepage that ivanodisey has for his website http://www.attitudefitness.es/

i really wanted to do something similar from the beggining but when I saw site I really liked it.

How do I show the classes on the front page and have banners under it like that. I would appreciate your help.

jonathan01

I think he just used html and columns… maybe you could use firebug in firefox to look at his code and that could possibly explain it. Customizations and setups etc aren’t actually part of support and as I didn’t create this particular page customization I’m not entirely sure unfortunately. Maybe contact him via the site? Looking quickly at the page source, it seems he used 1/3 columns via the shortcodes supplied and added accordions (again part of the theme) in each column with an image etc. Basically just html and shortcodes.

Hope that helps and again please remember this is not the support area, support as per the help file is via the profile page contact form – thanks

there is a bug with Menus, I have both “primary” and “secondary” set up and both menus show “secondary”, I cannot get primary to show on the top.

also, do the menus have submenu dropdown functionality? I cannot tell since my menus do not seem to work.

jonathan01

Actually menus is a WordPress function, not a theme specific function – please contact us with a link to your site including admin login using the form on our profile page as outlined in your help doc when requesting support – I can assure you there is no “bug” otherwise many would of mentioned it and we would of fixed it :)

And yes, of course they have submenus – see the live preview which shows them.

Looking forward to assisting you once we receive your support request.

Hi Jonattan,

I like the theme and want to buy it. But my website is on weebly.com. Can I use this template for my website or it is only for wordpress?

jonathan01

Hi Ku and thanks for the kind comments. Unfortunately yes, this is only WordPress. There is no HTML version of this particular theme.

Hi, thanks for the theme! I have a couple of questions:

1. How do I increase the excerpt length for blog posts in the homepage one third boxes?

2. The header tags don’t seem to align well with pics. Here is an example: http://freespiritlifecoach.com/meet-the-coach/. I’d like the text (and the header) to wrap around the pic so I have it aligned right, but it doesn’t work with the header tags.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi – please note this is a comment area and not the support forum – support requests should be directed and submitted via the contact form on my profile page as outlined in your help documentation – also please note that you have a plugin for coming soon and as such I cannot see your site – please remove this before sending the link via the contact form – also please note that support does not cover customizations – all our code is to the WP Codex standards and as such, things like increasing word counts on excerpts etc can be found on the codex.

We look forward to your contact form submission.

Hi, thanks for the quick response. And my bad, sorry for contacting you through here. I’ll submit through the contact form. No problem.

I forgot I had the Coming Soon plugin. I’ll send you a message when I take it off, which should be a in a couple of days to ask about the header tags not being able to align with images properly.

Also, I wasn’t trying to ask you to help with customizations. I just thought you could point to me where I would find the excerpt increase… but after a little more searching, I found it in the template-home.php file. I’d rather not make changes to the WP core files as you suggested.

jonathan01

No – I was not (and never would) suggest you change any of the core files – the wordpress codex is a treasure box of how things work via theme template files and their appropriate code. I look forward to your contact form submission.

THanks
