So…..You guys said that the review queue was closed until Jan 3…it’s the 6th now. Where is the updated theme?
We’re going to release it tomorrow. We’re fixing some incompatibilities with the WPML plugin
My hosting provider (BlueHost) is requiring all accounts upgrade from PHP 5.2 to PHP 5.4. I cautiously made this change and didn’t see any issues with my Flare template website (on the front end/public view). However today when I logged into my WP Admin panel to post a new article, I could only view the left side menu bar of WP; I could not view or access any of the site or theme content whatsoever. I could only see a blank white screen.
BlueHost found an error message in the PHP script and reverted my PHP back to 5.2. I could immediately access all site content again. The problem is, BlueHost will require all hosted sites to be on PHP 5.4 within 30 days.
Please confirm if the pending update will resolve this issue. If not, I would have to abandon all the time/effort invested in the Flare theme and start over.
have you tried to disable all 3rd party plugins before?
Michael – I haven’t tried that, but likely will in conjunction with loading the Flare 2.0 and WP 3.8 today.
OK, thank oyu for your feedback
Again waiting. I’m expecting this update to upgrade PHP and Wordpress version, along with other modifications needed. Please keep us informed on your progress and delivery date.
Hello, any news about the update? Thanks in advance.
Hi, where in Live Demo is Revolution Slider? In 2.0 is included. Thanks!
the LivePreview is not updated right now. We will try to change it soon
Excited to see v2.0 update release today! Can you clarify how to load the update? I’m new to this part of the process and don’t want to accidentally overwrite the live content of my website.
It’s about our latest theme 3Clicks, but the procedure is similar
thanks for the update!
Before you begin, sorry for my english, I do not speak the language well.
I just saw that the theme has been updated. Thank you for this work.
I have a small question. “Update History” is outdated. I just wanted to know if the gallery function is now compatible with lightbox?
Thank you for your reply.
v2 is mainly about the Revolution Slider integration. Have you tried to use a 3rd party plugin?

HI, I really like this theme and would have purchased it, however the menu disappears when you scroll down is there any possibility of changing this so that it stays in place and everything else moves down, thanks look forward to hearing from you.
right now there’s no possibility to make a sticky header without some further development, sorry
Thats a shame, it needed to be sticky. It would be a lot better, because the menu disappears, hopefully you might do something in an update.
We can always help you with it on our support forum
HOWTO-IMPORT DEMO SLIDER ?
what do you mean by “demo-slider”? Before & After element?
Yes Before & After Element.
It’s not a real slider. It’s a simple shortcode. Please import the DEMO content (see the theme documentation) and you will get the same homepage as our LivePreview has
I suggest you to make the social media icons more attractive and with some mouse over effects. I only feel this is a odd thing in your theme. I feel like the social media icons not creative like in other themes. All else is great. Thank You.
Also I would like to ask you is the demo content images included in the theme ?
images are not a part of the theme. We provide the DEMO content with alternative images
we haven’t tested it yet. But please remeber that Visual Composer provides custom shortcode set
How to create sub-menu flag like “We are Hiring” I tried short-code generator I tried to see the previous link you had shared. But I don’t remember your support site password. Kindly help urgently.
please try to use something like this:
<mark class=”flag”>WP 3.8</mark>
in your desired menu item title
Thanks. Its working, but how to change colour ? Its now coming in black colour.
Please change the Distinctive color scheme for the header theme area in the WP admin panel > Appearance > Theme options > Style > Header
I mean about the different colors to be used in the flags (both background and font). With the code you provided ts showing only black color for background and white font color. So that I can use different colors in the same place. I know how to change header color, but that was not my question anyway thanks for your response.
Please help asap. Thank You
There’s no way to do use different colors of flags inside the primary nav menu without some custom CSS code. Please post it on our support forum and I will try to prepare some CSS for you
Thank you in advance.
Hi, This is a pre-purchase question:
Is there a way to get your contact info in the header (phone/fax address)?
you can use the secondary nav menu item and link your phone number to your contact page
One quick question about this beautiful theme.
Can a metrostyle menu be applied to it?
unfortunately the metro style menu is only available in the 3Clicks theme, sorry
Can anyone tell me why the short codes generator isn’t working? And also, about 3Clicks (which I also purchased…love your themes) How come you didn’t offer the gradient backgrounds?
Oh yes, also, there seems to be a small glitch in the last menu item…it’s very slight…all the text in the navigation bar eg. ‘Home’ ‘About’ ‘Contacts’, goes from bold to thin, but only when you click the last item in the primary navigation menu. Why’s this and how can I correct it?
Nevermind about the menu, found it was a glitch when adding Google Maps. Took plugin out and text is good.
please post each of your questions | issues as a separate topic on our forum and we will be glad to help you. Thank you in advance.
Can you please tell me how I can find the CSS?
In Design -> Editor I see only:
Theme Name: Flare Child WordPress Theme
Theme URI: http://flare.bringthepixel.com
Description: Got questions? Visit our support forum.
Author: bring the pixel
Author URI: http://www.bringthepixel.com/
Place your modifications below
please check the flare/css/main.css file
Hi Michael thank you.
I don’t understand why I can not see the main.css direct in Wordpress Admin-Page. -> Editor
The WP editor can only browse CSS files in the root folder of a theme :/
Thank you! This means that the Child-CSS can not successful operated when I write my wish H1 in the Child-CSS.
How can I solve my problem?
What will happens to my CSS-adaptation when I change the Main.css after a possible Theme Update?
No, you can add custom CSS code to the style.css file from the child theme and it will work fine plus all your custom code will be safe during future theme updates
Thank you. I will try it.
I’ve created a Navigation-Menu (Home, about us, contact .etc…
One menu point of then has a submenu with 2 pages.
My client wishes that the One Parent-Menu (only the parent) with 2 Submenu should be without a page content.
Go the user on a Parent-Menu (mouse-Over) the Submenu, must be open.
...is this English enough ?;-)
so you want a “dead” link there? Am I right?
Yes, normally in HTML-Pages with ”#”
Have you tried to use a custom nav item link with ”#” as href?
Thank you, this is very cool. It is perfect!.. :-))
Great theme, thank you!
Is there a way to adjust the line spacing on the dividers and paragraphs? I need to fine tune and tighten that spacing but I can’t find anything in the style.css sheet.
please check the flare/css/main.css file.
Also place all your CSS mods inside the style.css file from your child theme
