Hi! Very nice job! I have a “dummy” question: show, in what place the code to insert video url youtube?
<video id="video_review_1" src="" class="video-js vjs-default-skin" controls preload="auto" width="350" height="230" data-setup='{ "techOrder": ["youtube"], "src": "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLGkCEP38s4" }'></video>
I done wrong? Thank you!

IE10 supports css3 animations, but every version below it doesn’t. There isn’t an existing solution for it.

Sad … Thanks for your reply. Good luck! :)

Your welcome :)

Hi! It’s great job. I’ve one question regartding to video: I’d like to place the video from youtube whose URL is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4_DDDNeOVs I tried few times, but I don’t had success of it. I saw the questions from nikal777 below and if possible, I’d like know more. The basic code used for me: <video id=”video_review_1” src=”” class=”video-js vjs-default-skin” controls preload=”auto” width=”350” height=”230” data-setup=’{ “techOrder”: [“youtube”], “src”: “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4_DDDNeOVs” }’></video> thank you so much!

Hi and thanks for your purchase. You just have to replace the existing youtube video sample url to your’s and it should appear. Let me know how it worked.

Hi Erik, thank you for reply. I’m sorry, but I don’t found the youtube video sample url in your template. I’m not so experience with it, for it if you’ll can pass me where I should replace the url to mine, it’s sure I’ll stay very grateful. Thank you so much

You can find the first sample video’s youtube link at line 296 both in the app and ebook version. Here’s how it looks like:

<video id="video_review_1" src="" class="video-js vjs-default-skin" controls preload="auto" width="350" height="230" data-setup='{ "techOrder": ["youtube"], "src": "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjS6SftYQaQ&list=SPA60DCEB33156E51F" }'></video>

You have to replace this for your youtube link:

Ok, guy. Thank you so much! Best regards!

Your welcome.

I just purchased the flatbook theme, can provide the link for the online documentation??

Hi, you can find the documentation in the download.

Hi, I am just haing a little problem lining up the last box in the section title bullets. I added in your script from a previous person’s enquiry but it didn’t seem to line up the last item.

This is the code I used to help the alignment: $(”.include-box:eq(2), .include-box:eq(4)”).css(“clear”,”left”);

Could you please help me. Thank you! my website link: http://creativeitch.com.au/st2013/

Your welc. :) What do you mean by banner?

Sorry I mean the main rotating section (slider?) at the top of the page where the book is pictured. At the moment it has three slides and I would like that they auto rotate after an amount of time if possible?

Look for this in the slider section:

and change “0” to “4000”, so the slider will rotate at every four seconds

Hi! I just purchased the theme and I cannot install it!

It says:

“It was not possible to decompress the .zip. The theme doesn’t have the stylesheet style.css

What can I do?

Please, is quite urgent

Hi, i’m sorry to say that but you’ve purchased the html5 version not the wordpress one.

Do you have any plans to add an updated version in the near future? One of the features I was considering was an automated slider on the home page banner.

Hi there, i’m working on an update but nowdays i’m really busy but it’s in progress, it will be released as soon as possible. Regarding your feature request, it’s already includes in the upcoming version but you can set it to autoplay in the actual theme too by changing one word in the script file. Cheers

Hi Erik

nice job but before purchase the HTML5 template (and not the wordpress), how can i use the back office (like the wordpress one) to edit the website, to change the text, the pictures, the icons, simply to customize it for my product i have to you use software like dreamweaver? or i have to upload the files on my apache server and access to a dashboard like wordpress?

thank you julien

Hi Julien,

You can edit and customize the HTML5 template with a simple code editor like Notepad++ or Sublime Text, but it’s practical if you have some experience with html / css coding before you head in advanced customization. You can use Dreamweaver too if you wish, but personally i don’t advise to use it. Please read the included documentation carefully, every basic methods of the template customization is covered there. Cheers, Erik

Hello, In the Flatbook demo page (of the ebook version), top there is a link to blog. Is that blog theme included in the package ? I could not find it in the html5 version. How can I get it . Thank you

Replied in email. Cheers, Erik

Hi! I love your theme so far! Your features description states the CSS3 animation effects can be disabled.

>Customizable CSS3 animation effects: This landing page features a dozen of sleek customizable CSS3 animation effects, but if you don’t need them, they can be easily disabled.

I am not sure where to go to disable them? Can you please let me know?

Hi, yes animation can be disabled easily, but i’m able to provide support only for those who purchased the item. Cheers, Erik

Thanks Eric – actually, I meant to post this in the wordpress template. I will repost over there. Thanks!

Great template and support. Have had a few minor things crop up and Erik has been very responsive to help me fix them.

Thanks for the positive review, i much appriciate it :) Let me know if i can help with anything else in the future. Cheers, Erik

Can’t access the live preview.

Yeah i know, actually we are moving to an other hosting provider at the moment, it may take some time until we set up, thanks for your patience. Cheers, Erik

Thank you very much! :)

Although I quite like the section animations coming in when scrolling, my client doesn’t. I’ve been fiddling with the offsets to try and get all the sections to just render on page load, but there has to be a better way. Is there a way to disable the main body waypoints/animations without affecting the slider/menu/etc?

Hey and thanks for your purchase! Well, the most quick way i think is deleting the animate.css file in the /css folder and reconstruct the hidden elements with the opacity rule like this:

.element { opacity: 1 !important; }

Let me know how it worked! Cheers, Erik

Thanks. That did the trick!
