Hi we have a support forum, we took the ticketing system down because of mis-use, users was posting on the forum and ticket system to try and get immediate answers which ended up causing double the time as we had to answer both ticket and forum, its better for our customers because they get an answer quicker.

I’m trying to the revolution slider as part of Flati Wordpress template, but I’m getting an error with captions, when I opened up the console, that’s what i saw:

Posted on UBL Forum the other day for support. Trying here in case the forum isn’t being monitored (support tickets down)

After setting up the theme, the Visual Composer fails to work in pages & posts. When selecting an item to edit, the visual composer is blank. The only option is to edit via HTML.

Everything is up-to-date (WordPress & theme). Please advise on what setting may be causing the Visual Editor to fail or what you need to debug the issue.

Sorry to bother you with this. Reached out to CodeCanyon but they said that since the Revolution Slider was bundled with the theme, only you guys would offer support.

Trying to understand the default size that we should upload images to allow them to display in an optimized way. I thought I could set the size I would want the images to display, but the “Edit Slider” section is much more limited on my version than that shown in the documentation. Also not clear about choices for “Background Fit” but think if you clarify and I know the proper/preferred size of image to upload, I can make it work.

Hi can you please tell us if you are using the latest version of flati? As the latest version has the latest revolution slider.

In regards to the optimal, set the images to the largest you need them.

For instance viewing on a desktop if you need the image to be 400×400 then set it to that

If I have mis-read what you are wanting to achieve I apologies and ask if you could explain a little more :)

Thank you for the quick reply! We are using 3.2.0 bought from ThemeForest.com. Our problem with the images is that we have them sized at 960×350 (found that in a forum somewhere) but they display as if they are zoomed in and cropped. The slider looks like it’s best for long horizontal images, correct? We can upload at any size and keep them consistent, I just need to know the differences between the “Background Fit” options.

As I mentioned, the “Edit Slider” section is much more limited on my version than that shown in the documentation. I would send a screen shot but don’t see a way to upload a small file to you. Thanks!

Hi this will be because of slider settings, if you are setting the slider to be 1200px wide, but then tell it force full width.

Then the width on your device is 1920px it will stretch the image.

Hello,

We purchased and downloaded your theme yesterday and are coming into problems with the Revolution Slider. There are no settings to choose from. The menu appears for about 1 second and then disappears. I tried using Chrome and FireFox. We are using the latest version of the theme and running WordPress 3.9.1. I would attach a screenshot but there’s no option to here.

Any thoughts on what is happening or how to fix this?

Hi, yes we do have plans to update the theme to the latest bootstrap.

The theme was in development from June last year which at that point there was not a Bootstrap 3. Plus this theme was actually developed in April and was first released in May last year which can be seen here:

The HTML version was only just updated to Bootstrap 3 last month which means it is now in our plans for future updates.

Sorry I can not give an ETA as then we are held to it and we have learned that things can go wrong.

Changing from Bootstrap 2 to Bootstrap 3 is not as easy as just changing span3 to col-sm-3 etc, so its not just a 2 minute job.

We have 11 WordPress themes we need to support, update and create new ones so giving ETA’s is a little hard.

If you check the update me when theme is updated then you will get a message when it has updated.

Since the 3.1 update, a lot of the key customised short codes which made the theme worth purchasing our now gone such as the four icon blocks, client lists, testimonial blocks, pricing tables, team members, and message boxes. Also, the Revolution slider (as it is) is also less than optimal and doesn’t give you a full set of options to work with. In other words, if you want your site to look like the site preview, forget about it for now. It’s been 2 months since 3.1 came out and these issues have not been resolved. Hard to say if they will ever be resolved.

The only reason it would not show is if you have not activated the Flati Framework plugin which is prompted for you to install on update/installation.

Hi,

Our client has noticed the issue with the portfolio category names on the chrome browser. Simply, the names which have more words are displayed in two lines. Hi, this is Jo the creator of the html template. It has just come to my attention that Robert the developer of Flati hasn’t answered any questions for a while now. I am unsure what is happening as he was ill a while ago, I am unable to contact him at the moment and I am now concerned that he has fallen ill again. I will continue to try to do so over the weekend. I am really sorry about this, Jo.

Finally had to abandon this theme as there is very little support in terms of getting it work correctly. Wasted a lot of time, not to mention the cost of the theme, trying to get it to work like the demo (which it originally did but now does not). Would not recommend this theme for serious users of Wordpress.

This doesn’t seem to be compatible with the latest Wordpress. I can’t get any links within visual composer elements to work. Clicking the link buttons doesn’t do anything.

Hi. A couple of urgent issues: 1. I cannot seem to get access to your support portal – even after registering, the portal would not recognize my password, and no matter how many times I tried the ‘forgotten password’ link, I did not receive a mail to allow me access 2.
