Hi. Very nice template. I don’t know if someone has brought this into your attention. The template says it is IE8 compatible, but it is not loading at all in IE8. As you know IE8 is the official navigator for people using Windows XP and that is a bunch of people still. Is there something you can do to fix this? Definitely would buy.

I have the latest version for XP (8.0.6001.18702). I also checked with a friend who has the latest version for Windows 7 (8.0.7601.17514), and the page partially loads but it gets stuck at some point, she cannot scroll and have the same status bar message reffering fontawesome-webfont.eot?#iefix&v=3.1.0. I sent you a screenshot to ed@swiftideas.net.

Got your email, but it had no contents?

Weird. Sent again.

Hi there, When using the color customizer the site all looks the same and good, then when I get out of it and look at the live site each page has different colors from previous changes.

The sliding underling for the main menu also doesn’t work anymore, on the home page especially. It sometimes will work on other pages that aren’t the same color, just seems like their are loads of bugs.

Help please!

SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

Sounds like a local issue. I’ve tested this thoroughly here and not seen that issue. The pages should use the same general colours, not sure what colours (assets) you’re referring to?

Can you post a link that I can check? Confused by what you mean when you say “It sometimes will work on other pages that aren’t the same color”.

Hey Ed, is there an email where we can communicate, I have a few more questions. As for the color issue, it seemed to correct itself over the course of 30 minutes. Two pages had the CSS matched, then 3-4 then now all of them do.

Still have the problem with the animated underline not working properly in the header tho.

SwiftIdeas

Must have been a caching issue!

Sure, email me at ed@swiftideas.net

Hi,

sorry to bother, but I have an issue with v1.4.1: I just updated, and now content (text) reaches outside the tour asset and tabs!

Thanks!

I also noticed more things since 1.4.1:

1: The theme totally ignores what you set under “Detail Media Options” within a blog post for example. If I set a video there, nothing shows up above the content, if I set it as slider, nothing shows up above the content and if you have a featured image set then it uses the featured image above the content where it should show whatever you have set under “Detail Media Options”.

2: If you check “Full Width Media Display” it is not really full width, it spans across the website content and the sidebar, but it starts 30px too far left.

3. And if you choose “Slider” under “Thumbnail Options” and pick two different image sizes it messes it up. I have one 4:3 image and one that is very long but not wide and once I switch to the second image it overlays the whole text underneath it, which is the blog post title and excerpt in my case.

A couple of things but since I have experienced Ed’s support a couple of times now I have no doubt that he is going to fix them all.

Thanks for looking into these things Ed.

Hey,

1) I’ve tested this, and I can’t fault it. Works perfectly for every option I set..

2) Thanks for pointing that out, fixed for v1.4.2.

3) Have added smooth height to the thumb slider – this should fix your issue. Can you provide a link so that I can see this?

Should have the update out later on tonight.

Awesome theme?

Is the theme compatible with 3rd party plugins that enable Facebook Comments or Social SignIn Comments for Blog Posts in place of the standard comment system shown in the demo?

Thanks.

SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

Yes, this uses the standard comment setup – so you can use a plugin to replace it.

Hope that helps :)

Hi,

I know I read a post or comment somewhere on how I can remove the big downward arrow from the full-width text block, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere! Can anybody assist?

Thanks!

Gabe

Hi there,

Just add the following extra class to the full width text block:

no-arrow

Hi, With your page builder is it possible to create standard blog posts as beautiful as for example your portfolio post http://flexform.swiftideas.net/?portfolio=sazzi where page would consist of several different design sections.

Thank you!

SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

Yes that is possible, you can set the post to have no sidebars and add the same elements you would for a page or portfolio item.

- Ed

how do i get auto updates to new theme versions?

SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

You can get the update through your WordPress dashboard. It shows up like any other update.

Hi,when I creat a new post or page with Swift Page Builder, add a video player element, and type a vimeo link to video editor, then publish it.But when I scan the post/page in frontend, the video become a line of hyperlink, but a player. What should I do to solve it?

SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

If you need to add a custom font, your best bet would be to add the code in the custom css box within the theme options panel.

I am not good at coding,so could you be so kind to tell me whether it’s feasible if I paste codes below to custom css box directly?
body{
 font-family: Tahoma, Helvetica, Arial, "Microsoft Yahei","????", STXihei, "????", sans-serif;
}
SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

Yes, that would be ok.

- Ed

Hi Ed. Last presales questions from me :)

1) Can custom images be displayed in the individual Page Headers instead of patterns/colors?

2) can the main menu font size be increased?

Thanks

SwiftIdeas

No worries :)

1) Yes, you can use an image rather than a pattern instead if you like for the alt backgrounds.

2) Yes, this can be done with a little custom css (happy to provide this).

hello ed,

I love the theme, i have one question. When i make a portfolio category with several portfolio items that are set that the image is shown in a lightbox, is there a setting so that al the images of the differant iems are shown in the lightbox with next / previous buttons or something?

Now when one items is opended in a lightbox and click it, it does not go to the next portfolio iem image.

thanks

gr desch

SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

Not possible as standard, but could be done with a code change. Edit /includes/page-builder/composer/lib/shortcodes/portfolio.php line 221 to:

$link_config = 'href="'.$lightbox_image_url.'" class="view" rel="gallery"';

Hey,

Almost finished my website with this awesome theme!

I was wondering if it’s possible to make the lightbox (on videos) load YouTube videos in 1280×720 and HD and to delete the “tweet” and “like” that appear on the bottom.

Thank you!

SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

Glad you like it :)

Try adding this to the end of the video URL:

?width=1280&height=720

In the revolution slider I have a block of text on the right and an image on the left. The revolution slider when in Mobile view shrinks the text down to where it is unreadable. Is there a way for the elements to stack from top to bottom instead of left to right when in mobile view? I guess what I am asking is that if this slider is responsive wouldn’t I be able to handle the elements by the css and lay them out differently based on the width of the viewport?

SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

Unfortunately not, I don’t think it’s possible within the revolution slider.

hi guys i have a question about : can i translate theme option page with poeditor? i want to translate theme option page but i can not find theme option page string include in po file

SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

The theme options are translatable via WPML.

- Ed

Hi, this is a great theme, congratulations. I intend to buy it but before I need to know if I can workaround some specific requirements related to forms: 1. i need a customized form in the slider 2. i need a customized form as a widget 3. i need a customized form opening as a popup when user clicks on a link(button) Please let me know If the theme meets these requirements or otherwise if you have any suggestions for easy implementation. I know there’s tons of plugins doing that but they come with different styles. Thanks for your reply.

SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

1) You can add a form to the revolution slider as a layer.

2) You could use a plugin for this.

3) You could probably find a plugin for this too.

Hope that helps.

Hi Ed

I was wondering if you could help.

I’m looking to get my latest blog displayed on my homepage in 2/3 of a screen (with a short intro of it with a read more link) – so there is 1/3 next to it with graphic links to other pages.

I’ve tried to insert the ‘blog’ element from the builder – but that only let’s me have it full width.

So I thought of using a ‘post carousel’ & only showing 1 post – hoping that it would take up 2/3 of the space – however it doesn’t unfortunately.

You can see what I mean on my page here: http://rapidtransformation.co.uk/dev2/

I did think about putting the ‘free resources’ graphics links in a right hand widget – however that then impacts the 4 graphics boxes/links at the top – which I want spread across the full screen.

Also – is there anyway to insert some custom code so that it sits directly underneath the slider – so that it is a full length horizontal opt-in bar? I’ve tried to include it in the slider – but the coding isn’t really working out. It would be easier to just have the slider as the graphic & then the opt-in bar directly underneath it. Is there a placeholder for this?

Any tips or advice would be great.

Many thanks

Os

p.s – sorry about the double post – don’t know how to delete one of them.

SwiftIdeas

Hi there,

Unfortunately it’s not possible to do that, you could only have 3 articles in the 2/3rd space.

Why don’t you use the full width text block for the opt in bar?

ok thanks for this. I will look for a workaround in my design.

Do you have any idea why my revolution slider isn’t showing full width on my http://rapidtransformation.co.uk/dev2/nlp-practitioner-course/ page but it does on my http://rapidtransformation.co.uk/dev2/ page? I’m using the exact same shortcode to make it view.

No worries – I sorted this one :)

In the demo portal, when you go to Portfolio (Main Menu) and Page Builder Portfolio Item 2, how exactly do you do the iconography in the Goals section, and the graph below in the Skills Needed section.

Also in Page Builder Portfolio Item 1, how do you do the image, with the quote at the side and the background image, below the analysis section. I’ve tried using a combination of Full Width Text Boxes, and Columns, with Typography elements for the quotes, but they don’t come out the same.

Much appreciated!
