I’m having a problem with the plugins. After installing on WP 3.5.1, I’m attempting to install the plugins by pressing “Begin installing plugin”. The error “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” is appearing. Again, this is a fresh WP install and I’m the admin. I’ve attempted to manually install the “Media Grid” plugin but can’t find it in the download or with a Plugin search.

Did you by chance do a ‘One-click WordPress Install’ on your web host? The permissions are often restricted in these installs. You need to download WordPress from wordpress.org and manually upload the files and create your database.

No, this was a manual WordPress 3.5 download. I did do an automatic install to 3.5.1 though.
I have the problem resolved though. I had to navigate down to the plugins folder.

While testing the responsive features on my smart phone, the content of the site flickers on and off, with several seconds delay between each making the site unviewable. The background remains displayed while the flickering is occurring. I tested this with both Chrome and Safari.
What type of phone / operating system is it? Are you testing our demo site with the Option Panel? (We did have some issues with the Option Panel for the demo site causing a similar issue on some mobile devices).
I used the demo data from the download and installed it on my site with no Option Panel displayed. iPhone 4 with iOS 6.0.1.
Can you test it on the same device at http://demo.themesuite.com/flight-wp/wp/ and tell me of you get the same result? We have tested it on iPhone 4, 4S and 5. The faster processors handle the larger graphics better, but the page still works for me on the iPhone 4 with iOS 5.
I think you’re right about the phone. I had tested it on faster/newer phones and the page doesn’t blink.
Great theme with great organization in the zip file and documentation text is easy to follow and organized.
I would like some help with these features: (I INSTALLED THE DEMO DATA)
1. Flight > General: the homepage is set to the Slideshow page, which is empty. However it always displays the footer. I want the homepage to only display the slideshow and the menu.
2. Flight > Location: I added the API and enter the Long and Lat from a Google map but the map will not display.
3. On my homepage, I open the site then click any menu. Followed by clicking the Home link, but it will not return to the set homepage.

Thanks for your purchase! The easiest way to fix #1 and #3 if you installed the demo content is to set the Homepage to Homepage, and in the Homepage page settings in the right column select No Content: ON
Regarding #2, did you follow the screenshots in the documentation to ensure you are entering the correct co-ordinates?

I could not upload the theme via wordpress. If I try to install it, it is loading and loading, but nothing happens. If I try the manual method, I can not extract the flight.zip! I tried 7 zip an freearc, but both programs are telling me the same error: the compression format is not supported. Any ideas?
Redownload the package from ThemeForest, sounds like your file is corrupted.
Planning to purchse your theme. I am trying to give another try with evanto. I got really bad theme swhich are not properly organize in the folder beside there is no documentation from other seller. Worst they do not reply and give us a support. We end up losing our money for nothin. It seems by reading all the comment. YOu do give support and concern to your buyer. Me and my partner are redoing or re setting our existing website. Common problem is missing style sheet or the folder are not properly documented/organize. We are using justhost.com as our site provider. Sorry for my long comment. I just want to make it sure that I am making a right decision in purchasing your theme. Actualy my partner like it. Ok, when I try to upload the plugins, I get the following error message:

Is it possible to center the logo?
Also, is there a way to make the post dates in the blog larger or more prominent?
1.) Centering the logo: Yes, with some minor CSS customization. It is not currently an option in the Flight Admin Panel (but a good idea for a future update though)
2.) Make post dates larger or more prominent: Yes, very easily.

Make sure your menu’s name is “flyout-menu” and on the left hand column associate “Flyout Menu” with the menu named “flyout-menu”.
The flyout menu is not designed to dropdown (just your main menu items), but you can use the side column menu ‘side-nav-menu’ for a dropdown menu.
Hello again and thanks. I think the flyout-menu is a little to big if the text is to long, so I want to style it by making a child theme, but it is not working! I can install it but in the control panel it says: “There is a new version of the WP Online Child Theme theme available” and “To update the Theme, enter your username and the purchase key”???

Ok, I installed the plugins manually, but when I try to import content via wordpress importer, there are a lot of error messages telling me (for example):
Warning: fopen(/www/htdocs/...../wp-content/themes/flight/css/options/options-7.css) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /www/htdocs/w00b6e98/freakcraft/wp-content/themes/flight/functions.php on line 1393
and : Failed to import Media “...”
So I guess there is something wrong with the permissions? But there is a upload directory with chmod 777 – what else is to set? Do I need a cache directory?
This is the same problem as the user bokazini was having below. Follow the directions from our reply to that post to download and replace the
functions.php. This will fix your problem.This has been corrected in Version 1.1 which should be available on ThemeForest very shortly (it’s in the queue for approval).
