Hello again – another question regarding image stretching… I am uploading images to a portfolio project and when they are viewed as a horizontal scroll, all of the images are being stretched horizontally (they are all aspect ratio 1600:900). When I click on one of them and it goes to the slide-show format, they return to their correct proportions… Is there a minimum or maximum aspect ratio that should be used so that the images are not stretched on the project page? I can’t see any stretched images. The only thing that’s broken is the images overlapping the menu. Which is very strange, because you have already 1.0.4. Are you sure you have updated all the files?
We can definitely fix that. Could you contact me using the contact form on TF and provide some screenshots.
Btw, there’s no aspect ratio limitation on portfolio project page. Everything should look nice

A quick follow up clarification – I’m viewing the site on both a 27” and 24” iMac – stretching is happening on both but more dramatic on 27”er…??

I am using v1.0.4 and have a hidden portfolio up with only landscape images and everything seems to be showing fine. I have tried viewing on all browsers besides IE.
@logu70. I have a 27” as well and when looking the site on Safari 6.0.2 it looks stretched… But looks correct if using firefox… I mentioned before but I do not know if is a Safari configuration issues…

you are right, Safari and Chrome had issues when the image height was smaller than the available space. This is going to be fixed in 1.0.5, which is coming out tonight. I would be really grateful if you could confirm it has solved your problems.

Safari is fixed… I do not have any more stretched images on my monitor… I checked Safari and Firefox on Mac… Thanks a lot Villus
One thing more. When you upload new releases would it be possible for you to include a ZIPed up archive of the files that need to be uploaded to the server within the main ZIP archive? Most themes vendors do this already. I managed to figure out what needed to be zipped up and uploaded to my server to install the theme but having the zipped up file already there and ready for upload would simplify deployment (a minor thing but it would be nice).

How can I remove photos that I added to portfolio project? When I delete HTML code that links to that photos nothing happens – photos are still there!
That might not be a theme issue, but general wordpress problem (maybe I just don’t know how to use that new media uploader :>
Hi,
you have to delete the uploaded file. Click “Add Media”, select “Uploaded to this post” and then delete the images you no longer want.
I also think that you are inserting images into content. You don’t need to do that. Any uploaded photo to the project page is automatically shown.

Thanks for info. I figured out that’s the only way, but still I have problems sorting photos. When I change order of photos in “Uploaded to this post” it doesn’t change when viewing this post. Which mean’s that when I upload photos in specific order it cannot be changed later?

Quick pre purchase question. Can the slider on the front page be set to auto scroll through the slideshow? You have to use the nav arrows on the demo.

Hi, I’m interested in this theme and i have a question.
How much truble will it be to change this theme to support RTL layout and use RTL navigations? And will it be possible to easily keep updating the theme after the changes?
I can develop this myself but would like to know if you thought about this while developing the theme and made it relatively easy to change. Thanks !

I have never did an RTL website so it is difficult to say. I bet it is not the most easy thing to do, but it should manage if you’re CSS skills are above average.
Updating the theme is very easy if you don’t modify core files. You have to download a new ZIP file from ThemeForest and replace existing files.

Not a big issue, but I was wondering if there is a way to rename the ‘projects’ to ‘portfolios’ mostly for the display on the left hand side of the horizontal portfolio layout. I usually refer to my galleries as portfolios as opposed to project based groupings. As I said, not a big deal though – just love the look and feel of this theme so much!

you could rename “Project Types” into anything you want by editing inc/widgets/widget-project-types.php – find lines that say
and change them into your preferred word. But not that if you do this, then after updating your theme you will have to do this again. So you might want to wait for Automatic Slider update first

oh my…please tell me there is help somewhere that I can reference?!! I bought the theme, uploaded it, and have no idea how to make it look like the sample you show, and now for some reason I can’t even go back to my old site which looks a lot better than what I’m getting. Please advise where I can find some step by step how to create a site that looks like your demo.

you have some nice pictures there! I really encourage to do the following with your website:
1. Update to 1.0.6, you can do that by downloading the theme from TF downloads section again and replacing the existing one. Don’t worry, your images and information won’t get lost.
2. Remove the whitespace from your logo. I believe it will look much better then.

I’m looking into purchasing this theme but wanted to know if it’s possible to make the homepage images automatically transition, as opposed to having to manually click the “next” button. If so can they “fade” instead of “push”?
