I am unable to embed Vimeo videos or YouTube videos via the embed code. Ive tried staying in HTML view only, taking off the embed code and leaving just the url. Works for YouTube, but the size of the file is not what I desire. I’ve tried for three days, different ways. Seems like it’s a lightbox issue with iframe. What can I do to work around? I want my videos to be larger than the default 500x size. Thanks

I bought your theme and am using it to build my portfolio website. Looks amazing.

I have two issues though, if you could help me with.

Firstly The text in the tiles no doubt relates to what you type in the blog post. Is it possible to make the text in the tiles respect the formatting? Not much, at the very least, I want sentences to go to the next line.

For eg…In the blog post, the following text…

Credits •Technical Director •Videographer

‘Name of show’ has been running for # years.

Becomes…

Credits •Technical Director •Videographer ‘Name of show’ has been running for # years….

In the tile I’d like “name of show…” to be either on the next line or low enough for more details to appear before it.

Is that possible?

And Secondly

I would like the default home page to be linked to Category All and not Featured in the lightbox. I had featured removed because I didn’t need it, but when you open up the webpage, the lightbox still shows only a limited no. of tiles that are featured.

I Would really appreciate your input on this.

Great theme – thanks. 2 Questions: 1. is there a way to switch the functions of clicking on the thumbnail vs clicking on the play/enlarge button? I’d like clicking the thumbnail to play the vid (or show the fullsize image, if it’s an image). I would then change the image for the play button to something like “more info”. 2. once the lightbox is invoked, whether reversed as above or not, can images be set to display at full size by default (rather than scaled to the window)? Similarly, can videos default to full screen? I’ve read through the discussions and know how to set a specific size for vids, but that won’t translate across devices as well as full screen.

Is it possible to have more than 99 images to be shown in a single category?

Thanks for your hel a couple of threads back. New problem: when I have a portfolio item that’s taller than the screen allows, it’s impossible to scroll down. Or sometimes it will scroll just a little, then freeze the image and no further scrolling (up or down) will work. For an example: http://targetdev.pocketstudios.com/category/portfolio/printing-and-design/ Any of the items on the 2nd row are will be too tall for most screens. I know these images are being displayed pretty large (client request), but even if that was negotiable, they’d have to be pretty small to make sure they wouldn’t need scrolling on ANY monitor.

Also, is it possible to display the close box top right instead of bottom right? Even if it floated over the image, that would be okay.

One more question: what’s the correct format for setting width and height for youtube videos? Adding “&width=640&height=480” works fine for vimeo, but when using the address bar url for youtube, that format for width and height doesn’t work. I get an error message “Image cannot be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and image exist” when trying to play.

I’ve noticed that the videos (I think just Vimeo) do not work in lightbox on iPad/iPad Mini, even in your live demo. Is there a fix? or have I missed something.

hello, I’m a regular user of Folioflip. Good job. On the main page, I would like to disable the + link (hide it and unlink) as I don’t want the thumbnails to get bigger. In which file do I modify this ?

Also, when I flip a thumbnail, I want to change the text of “more details”. In which file is it ?

how can I make the excerpt longer? My flipped image returns just two rows/quarter of the text written, approximately 100 cgaracters. How can I do it longer? In function.php i cannot understand how the limit $num+1 works.
