Forget about my N°1 Question, I got it work ! Question N°2 about the “slogan” is still A question …
Hi,
Is there a way to remove the image hover/magnifying glass option from the latest works on the homepage?
Thanks
Hi there, i don’t see a purchased mark, if you used another account for purchase, please use that account to post questions as well, thanks.
Hi there!
I’ve purchased the theme and it’s great. I just updated to version 2.0 and i have a few problems: 1. When I open the posts on my mobile (Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100) the images are distorted (you can check it here http://catalinnastase.ro/andreea/) and i dont know how to fix it, 2. On the first page I want to remove the right column containing “Categories, Pages and Archives” (http://catalinnastase.ro/).
Thank you, Catalin
Thanks for the compliment, here for your questions:
1. The distorted issue will be solved when you set your images alignment to “none”
2. I have seen you already made it with the thumbnail size haven’t been changed, for the size, it is defined in folioway/index.php, search for “640, 240” and you will find it.
Thank you for your answer. With the alignment set to “none” it is working but my photos are in full size 900×600px. What can I do to show them in fullsize on the post content? Thank you.
I don’t really get you, your photos are already full size on your site as i see you have set your post to “900px” by custom CSS
My question is how can i make the photos in the post to be seen at 900×600px (now they are shown at 640×427px) by keeping the homepage aspect to original 640px?
I see, it’s up to your Custom CSS, the CSS code you are using now is
You can limit it on posts by change it to
Could you tell me what is the filename that is hosting the custom CSS you are reffering to?
It’s an option inside of the Admin where you will find it via Folioway > General Settings > Custom >Custom CSS
I put the line you wrote above inside Custom CSS like this ”.single #content {width:900px}” but nothing has changed inside the post…
Anyway…It is not ok at all for me to start aligning every photo to “none” i have at least 40 photos for every post and they will increase in number with every new post i’ll have. I sincerely don’t think this is a solution for the problem. I think you should have a better one…P.S. I’m still waiting the solution for the Custom CSS…Thank you!
Also, some other problem: the related post thumbnail for “Victor” is larger than the other related posts thumbnails and also the same happens för the popular post for “Victor” (You can check this out at the bottom of the page “http://catalinnastase.ro/andreea/”)
The thumbnail for “victor” shown at large because the small version not found, you can fix that by
1. Re-upload the image
2. Generate the missing size by some plugin, say AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild
Custom CSS was written for your requirement, you want your posts to be 900px wide and keep the home page posts at 640px, isn’t it?
Yes, I want my posts to show the images at 900px but what I was saying is that I don’t know how to use the line you wrote ”.single #content {width:900px;}” inside the Customm CSS field. I just copy/paste it there and nothing has changed. Maybe you can help me with that. Thank you!
Both issues have been fixed, the fix is included to the incoming version Folioway v2.0.2, drop me a line if you cannot wait and i’ll send the new version to you.
And thanks for issue report, appreciate it!
I’ll appreciate if you could send me the update…my email is catalin.nsts@gmail.com Thank you!
Hi
I really like your theme. One pre-purchase question. Is it possible to add more options in the contact form. Like drop down selection, radio buttons etc…
Thanks in advance
Nope, but the popular plugin Contact Form 7 is supported, with which you should have all the options.
