Hi there, I need some help changing a few things on my template: 1 – On the home page, where it says “Our Clients” I need to change that to My Clients. 2- On the Contact Page where it says “Send us a message” I need to say “Send me a message”

Well – I thought I had everything taken care of but today I had an issue arise. My comments are no longer indented. They have been find all along using the template and then today (all of the sudden) there is something wrong. Can you help me figure out how to fix this? The lost indention is making the avatar run under the type.

I would like to change the font size of the menu – my client thinks they are too small! How would I go about doing that? Thanks!
You can do it by customize theme styles, where all styles, includes the font size, are defined in ../folioway/style.css. It is well documented for you to quickly find what you are looking for, you can also use the browser plugin Firebug to help locating the line number.
Basic CSS knowledge is required.

I cant find the code to change the font size of the menu. I can only find the code to change the sub menu font size….

It’s not necessary to must find where the code is, you can simply add something like this to the end of style.css
My client would also like to add a ‘next’ and ‘previous’ button to the portfolio items – so the user will be able to navigate through the portfolio in a breeze. how would I set this up? Thanks again!!
There is no ‘previous’ or ‘next’ in this design, you will have to customize the theme to meet your requirements. The file for displaying portfolio items is “single-portfolio.php”, hope it helps.

is this theme compatible with fotomoto? if not, what are the chance of getting fotomoto working on this?

In the next release you should make a huge upgrade to contact form, becouse now it looks very messed up and you can’t see the text input bars, where to write your message. Plus there should be: “Message *” on top of the message bar itself and the titles should be align to left.

The contact form does have a color, light grey, i’m sure you’ll see it when you increase your monitor contrast. I have a laptop with max contrast at only 1xx and the contact form color is still visible, so should most computers.
Few displays that may not distinguish the light grey #F5F5F5 from the white #FFFFFF, to make the contact form looks as expected on them, you can change the color to a bit darker using Custom CSS in Folioway -> General Settings -> Custom, for example #f0f0f0

I´m currently not sure if I should buy this theme because of a reason:
As arska7 said, the contact form is really messed up. If you would change the shade of the form, I would instantly buy it.
But if I can change the colour, just tell me how to do it and I´ll buy it.
Is it possible to change it in the editor?
PS: I have the coding skills, but I´m a CMS newbie
by the way, the theme looks great!
The default color #f5f5f5 maybe a bit too light to some monitors, i gonna change it to #f0f0f0 in the next update.
You can change it in ../folioway/style.css, or use the Custom CSS option as replied to arska7
another question: is this theme SEO optimized?
Yes it is, but very basic SEO options, for serious SEO , install an SEO plugin is recommended.

I have a question. Currently I bought the template Folioway and created my website (www.inzight-architecture.nl).
I have a question about the portfolio. Most of my visotors will click in the middle of the button, so on the picture. This will lead to a serie of the different pictures of the startbuttons, but not to the projectinfo. For them it is very confusing and some of them never click on the black bars to continue.
For me it is very important that visitors will always easily find the project information. So I would rather like to click anywhere on the button (photo and the two black bars) and you will always go to the next layer; projectinfo.
Can you adapt the template so this is possible? That you can choose, if you click on the picture, if you want it the way it is now, or that you want to go directly to project info (the way I prefer).
This would be very helpfull for me (and maybe others as well).

Hey, thanks for answering about the contact form, but is there anyway you could change the layout of the contact form, to similar like in this example image: so the text would be in the other side and above message box would read: “Message:”

Sorry but themes are provided as-is, and i don’t have time to change this or that for different requirements.

The latest version is 1.4, if older versions, you can do it by disable Lightbox in Folioway -> General Settings -> General
In 1.4, the three links all can be customized, check out the metabox “Folioway General Post Options” on the post editing page and you will see the options.
Is this them also tablet and smartphone optimized? If not, can I somehow convert it in that particular format?

OK no answer… So i get it. I take the CopyRight sentence on the Footer.php page and paste on HomePage.php. Juste before <UnderFooter> and i’ts rocks …

If your site is running fine, there is no need to upgrade to the latest version, the demo site is still running the even older version 1.1.
The update is free, you always get the latest version when you download again here. The purchase code is written in your account panel “Downloads -> Theme License”.
